ORGANIZING PHILOSOPHY: I love helping people make a transition from chaos to serenity in their environment. The process of bringing order and creating space is very rewarding to me. I find that I get to use many of my skills in this process. I appreciate the changes that organizing can bring to my clients' lives. After working on projects, my clients often report the immediate and long-term benefits that come with being organized, from the purely practical advantages to the energetic difference it makes in their home. They feel the freedom to move on with their lives. I enjoy helping clients identify items they no longer need in their lives and channeling them to people and organizations that do need them. GETTING ORGANIZED CAN BE FUN if you have an expert at your side guiding you. If you want immediate results and positive changes in your life, get organized and clear your clutter. Clutter-clearing is modern-day alchemy. LET'S WORK TOGETHER & start the transformation process! You will learn valuable skills to KEEP your environment organized and clutter-free so that it brings you a sense of serenity and rejuvenation, instead of aggravation. Once the initial organizing process is completed, I can check in with you on a regular basis to keep things on track and answer questions. During the initial consultation, we will look at your situation and assess your needs. This is a good time for us to get to know each other and for you to decide if you want to proceed with the action plan that we develop. I will bring my organizing supply kit and make recommendations for additional organizing tools, containers & drawers that will make the most out of your available storage space. After we have developed an action plan suited to your needs and priorities, we can dive into the hands-on organizing process.

As stated above, Get Organized San Diego! is is the most fabulous resource I have ever encountered. Believe everything listed on their website. Hire them! You will not disappointed.
Description of Work: I needed a full home office organization, including referrals. Her husband, Richard, has also provided guidance with complicated paperwork; computer skills, and bookkeeping services. I was completely overwhelmed for 6 years after my husband died, and in approximately 22 hours (in 5 sessions -(so far). I feel like 2 angels landed on my shoulders! Ruth organized my office; referred me to a close, inexpensive gym;, referred me to a good website for easy healthy snack foods that didn't require refrigeration when no opportunity to eat at home; time management; helped me prioritize the issues...more issues than I can list here! They both are very positive and encouraging. After they leave, they list what we did, and what I still need to do. This is an ongoing project, including many diverse issues. She also organizes rooms, closets, garages, etc.

Description of Work: I don't have time to go into detail all the responsibilities over several years that Ruth performed for me. I would just like to day in general that she was an asset in almost every situation that I presented her with (and these were many and varied). To illustrate briefly I had to leave the country for an unknown period of time and I left her with my two dogs to export abroad and a large house to take care of. I was gone for a total of 6 months and I could not have asked for a better person to help me with this monumental task. I have the highest respect for Ruth as a person and as an amazing professional woman. I would trust her with just about anything.

She exceeded my expectations. She was great. She was professional, very task oriented and was able to show me how to organize everything. She kept working with me until the job was done.
Description of Work: She is a professional office organizer. I brought her in to organize my home office.

Ruth responded within 8 hours to my initial phone call. She was able to start my project within days of the first call. She worked in my home office with me as she tackled each box of unsorted paper. She didn't ask any unnecessary questions and was easy to have in my home. She uses good judgment on what to do with the papers she finds and how to file them. I can now look forward to working in my office.
Description of Work: Ruth took boxes and boxes of disorganized paper associated with my home business and personal files and created order by sorting and filing all the paper. She worked independently as I was only in my office about 1/2 of the time she was. She also assessed how to be use all of my storage space and made recommendations for improvement. She brought with her some options for making the storage space more effective that were very economical (less than $100). I encouraged her to consolidate and move items in my office cabinets as she saw fit and she did that all independently.
