From start to finish, my experience with Geneva Flooring was excellent. The company offers quality materials (including luxury vinyl plank options I didn't find elsewhere!) and their quote was competitive. I appreciated the fact that one of the owners (Judy) came to do the measurements in my home. Throughout the project, it was easy to reach her by phone. The installers arrived on time, worked diligently, and were professional and courteous. I researched several different companies before choosing Geneva Flooring and I'm happy with my decision. Removing my old flooring (tile and carpet) and installing luxury vinyl plank was a big expense, but the results are worth every penny. I've already recommended Geneva Flooring to my condo building manager and a few people at the dog park!

It was great. Out of my entire remodel project they were the easiest to work with and I didn't have to monitor their work. They were proactive in identifying possible issues. They were extremely neat and organized. They did a fantastic job.

It went really well. Our consultant Lisa came out the very next day to measure and give us an estimate. We had already had hardwood flooring done in our downstairs and we needed something that would match well. She was able to find a hardwood that matched very well. The installers were very professional, showed up on time everyday, and took time to answer my questions. The work is excellent.

We are very happy with every aspect of the job Geneva Flooring did. We had gone to a big flooring company first and planned on laminate, but learned about some potential problems with the produce. So we went to Geneva and after discussion selected a bamboo product. After ordering the materials (there was a delay for other work at our end) they found out that that particular product in some batches was showing problems. They contacted us and told us to select a higher-end bamboo product that looked the most like our original choice and did not charge us for the difference. They managed every aspect of getting the flooring in, including coordinating with other workmen. When questions and details arose they consulted with me appropriately, including on matters beyond the flooring itself. They were all cheerful and professional and lovely to work with, and I would definitely hire them again if I needed another floor.

She was good. I haven't used her but she was good. She was very responsive on that. It was excellent. She was extremely responsive. Like the next day she gave me a quote. They have a minimum and my job was just to small to make sense. So that was the issue. I would of hired her but I just couldn't fit into that minimum price. She is good. I would use them in the future if I had enough work for them to do.

The entire process went great! The service in the store was very friendly and they were able to quickly schedule an on-site quote at our house. Once we chose to move forward with the project, scheduling was easy and the entire scope of work was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely use this company again for another flooring project.

Working with Geneva Flooring was a great experience. I stopped in the store to discuss upgrading my bathroom floor to luxury vinyl. They have an amazing selection of materials, and let me take some samples home. Next Lisa came out and measured, explained how the project would be done, and helped me pick out baseboard molding. There were a few scheduling glitches which were worked out promptly, and the job was finished in one day as promised. My floor looks great, and I would hire this company again.

They were great. It was worth the money. The quality was very good. The materials were very good and they were very professional in their installation and attention to detail. The workers were both excellent. Nuno was very informative and knowledgeable. Judy was the owner.

It was a very good experience. GENEVA FLOORING could have provided more air company communication.

Originally our white oak floors had been oil finished and after 50 years had turned orange! Couldn't stand the color. Judy came over, identified the problem and showed us how the floors would look after sanding and with no stain, just polyurethane. Her quote was reasonable, and she worked around our schedule and her professional staff did a wonderful job in about 3 days. We are very satisfied.

We just completed a remodel. Geneva installed Coretec Luxury Vinyl and Royalty Cassini Carpet throughout our home and they were great. Judy and her team were conscientious, friendly and punctual. Her experience in the industry was incredibly helpful as she guided two rookies through the unknown world of flooring and luxury vinyls. Nuno and his team did the work on site and are true craftsmen. We couldn't ask for a better experience. Highly recommend Geneva for your flooring work.

Geneva Flooring advised on whether to replace or refinish my existing wood floors from my 1926 Craftsman house. Their team was professional and did a great job on making my floors look like new! My back office had only been carpeted in the past, and they were efficient with installing new hardwood that matched my other rooms.

Pricing was competitive with other providers and we selected this provider based on quality and price. Installers were efficient, professional and courteous. Salespeople were very knowledgeable and generous with samples while we were in the decision making process. Very pleasant experience.

Everything about my experience with this company was great. Carrie was very helpful, letting me take multiple samples home to consider and I actually chose a hardwood that she suggested. Lisa responded immediately to my request to come out for an estimate and showed up on time and was very knowledgable about the installation process. Jose was a really hard worker and did a great job prepping my floors, and Nuno and Joe did an amazing job installing them. Everyone was extremely professional and knowledgable and the floors are absolutely beautiful! I couldn't be happier and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get floors installed.

Lisa of Geneva Flooring came out promptly for an estimate. Unlike the other flooring companies that did estimates, she offered an option to do a repair that replaced the damaged boards rather than replace the entire floor. She had instantly recognized the type of flooring that it was, with an expensive tropical hardwood veneer, and thought it was possible to get replacements. (I didn't know repairing a floor like this was possible, since it was glue-down T&G.) Geneva was able to adapt to our schedule to get their crew in to do the tear-out-and-replace. They were punctual, considerate, and did great work. Then Geneva was able to navigate our increasingly volatile schedule, involving two reschedulings, to get in their sand-and-refinish crew. Again, real professionals who did great work. The floor looks fantastic, and even though I knew where it was damaged, I can't tell it had been -- it looks brand new!

The appointment was made for 10 a.m. Tuesday Feb. 24. When 11:00 rolled around and Lisa still hadn't showed, I called the store and was told that she was out doing estimates. I explained that she'd made an appointment to do my estimate at 10, and the woman on the phone said she'd contact Lisa. Lisa called me apologizing profusely, saying she'd gotten bogged down at a condo downtown. She did not say why she hadn't called earlier to let me know, but she did say she would come at whatever time was convenient for me, just name the time. I told her I would get back to her. It was annoying, but after thinking about it, she'd seemed sincerely sorry and I'd like the floor product I'd found in their store, so I called their office early the next morning and left a message saying these are the times that work for me, 4:15 that afternoon or 11:30 Friday morning, she could choose what worked for her, and I left my cell number. Later that afternoon, around 3, I noticed I'd missed a call on my cell and there was a voicemail. Lisa had called around noon saying she was on her way to Poway and would be free to come by around 12:30 that afternoon. I immediately called her and repeated that I'd left a message on the office phone (which she must have known because how else had she'd gotten my cell phone number) with my availability, but I supposed I could get home to meet her at 3:45. She informed me she was "sort of done for the day" and was at the beach. Really? What happened to "I'm so sorry, I'll come by anytime that's convenient for you"? Clearly my business wasn't a high priority, but I said again I'd left the times of my availability on their office phone, and she said she'd check with the office and give me another call to reschedule. Again. I never heard back. To say this was horrible customer service and a ridiculous way to run a business would be an understatement. On the upside, I didn't mistakenly hire them to do $20,000 worth of work in my home.

Firstly, please let me put some context to this. I am not a designer or a contractor, but had decided to remodel my house and play both. An intricate part of the process was the new flooring. I had to understand all the dynamics of which type of floor to use, as well as the color and texture. It was clear from the beginning, I had a huge learning curve. I called several installers to come to the house and give me a quote. Geneva returned my email the same day and was able to schedule an appointment on the day and time I wanted. Lisa came to the house and not only gave a quote, but took the time to explain how the different types of flooring, engineered, pure hardwood, etc., would perform in my house and the micro-climate in which I was located. She invited me to their showroom to discuss more. In comparison, another installer came by, gave me a quote and told me he would drop off a sample. Never heard from him again. Later that week, I went to the Geneva Floor showroom. It is small, but they have everything they need. I was greeted warmly and every question I had was answered. They spent a lot of time with me and I never felt like an imposition. I left with a handful of samples and a great understanding of with what type of floor I would be happy. Over the next few weeks, I was in and out of the showroom with different samples and more questions. I was always greeted enthusiastically and by name. Eventually, I choose the flooring I wanted and felt good that I had made an educated and well-informed decision. In coordination with the other trades on the project, I was able to set up a schedule which Geneva Flooring was able to slot into perfectly. Being my first remodel, I was confronted with a series of "discoveries" and additional work that was not in the initial scope (apparently this is pretty typical). With each surprise, the schedule was revised. The flooring was at the tail end of the project, so Geneva Flooring ended up with the majority of the revision. Each time, the team at Geneva was gracious and accommodating. Even when I changed my mind on the baseboard, they went out of their way to ensure I was happy. Almost a year after my initial conversation with Lisa, the install date finally arrived. The first crew to arrive was the two guys who would ensure the floor was level. These guys were great. They explained to me everything they were going to do, how they were going to do it and what to expect. My floor was a mess (uneven), so they worked for two days to get it right. They ground and filled until it was perfect. The next phase was the installation, but we were delayed due to rain, as the concrete was not drying in the humidity. Nuno, the installer, called me every morning to give me an update. Finally, near the end of week, he was able to get started. He, also, explained everything to me and, more importantly, kept my wife (who works from home) in the loop throughout the day. Nuno was meticulous in every way and is one of those rare people these days that takes personal pride in his work. He is truly an artist and crafted a gorgeous floor. Moreover, he did it with a great attitude and engaging personality. You could not ask for a better person to be in your house for a week. After each day, his equipment was put away and the area cleaned. By the time I got home, there were no traces that work had been done except for the floor ever expanding across the first floor. In the end, I got exactly what Lisa described on her first visit. Personalized service and a great product! The experience was excellent and resultant floor is incredible. I highly recommend Geneva Flooring... So much so that I am having them do my upstairs!

It has taken me 4 months to decide to write this review. I have never left a negative review on Angies List or Yelp in my life. But I am so overwhelmingly disappointed in my experience with Geneva Flooring that I feel I must. Judy, the owner was wonderful in the selection of wide plank oak flooring, baseboards and carpet. She also recommended a great guy, Jose to do some demo work. The problem was in the communication and the installation, AND the issues that resulted. I le t her know a week prior to the install that I had had issues with my remodel and could not schedule the install yet because the kitchen on the main floor had not been installed. She said she had already scheduled the crew and didn't want to change the plans. I said it was ok to go ahead and install the living room, but NOT the kitchen or stairs leading to the kitchen. I arrived to find the wood flooring installed in the kitchen. living room , and the stairs sanded with the first coating of stain applied. She said her guys had covered the flooring with paper and cardboard, which they hadn't. They had left a single piece of paper taped down over approximately 1/3 of the flooring. This was NOT enough to protect against work boots, appliances, a gas install, etc that we had agreed we would wait for. Because of this early install, the other people I had arriving to install the kitchen, AND every other contractor in and out of the stairway damaged and made severe gashes in the new wood. There was no way to NOT damage it with the lack of protection and the wood being installed before appliances, a gas line, and all the custom cabinetry going in. We had specifically agreed to hold off on the kitchen and the stairs leading to the kitchen because of this very issue. She assured me that she would come repair AND swap out the boards that were damaged because of the early install. I had purchased an extra case of floor boards so this was a solution i felt comfortable with. According to my contractor, the Geneva flooring installers failed to show up 4 separate times to complete the repairs and finish the install. Now, I had some other issues with my contractor flaking out, so I cannot confirm if that was the case. Every time I called Judy I was told she was in a meeting. Judy and Jon agreed to swap the floor boards boards and do a deep clean of the upstairs flooring which by that time was an absolute mess, and instead I received a voice mail that he felt the scratches looked good enough when he filled them in with a crayon and did a deep clean. I completely disagreed. My new 12K floors look old and damaged. In fact when I had relatives over to show my remodel off, they all thought the floors were old. The scratches are huge and embarrassing. I have pictures of the damage, the small amount of paper laid down to 'protect' the floors and the scratches AFTER the supposed repair. Judy left me a message last month that she was sorry the install hadn't gone smoothly and that she was charging the remainder of the balance to my card. No offer to make the situation better, swap out the damaged floor boards, or offer any reduction on the balance,,, even though she was aware that I was very disappointed. Bottom line, had she followed through with her promise to not install the flooring before my complete kitchen remodel these issues NEVER would have happened. I cannot recommend Geneva flooring as a result.

Friendly, helpful, and patient in assisting us with the choice of wood. Punctual and professional carpet removal, floor preparation, and hardwood floor installation. Promptly fixed a few minor problems. Terrific all around. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with the work that was done at my home. The installers, Nuno and Joe were wonderful to work with. Their work ethic and attention to detail you don't find very often.
