Fitzgerald Construction

I started my search process on Angie's List and got a few bids from well-recommended contractors. Fitzgerald's bid was the lowest. But, more important, I found that the workmanship was excellent. Mick Fitzgerald is a true professional. In the course of the job, there were a number of things discovered that required repair/re-working which we did not know about at the beginning. This is where the consumer is often most vulnerable. But Mick was a problem solver, trying to find the most cost-effective solution. I felt that he really had my best interests in mind at all times. Also, he was very easy to deal with as were his workers. Very friendly, very patient. All of his work was on budget and on time (except a delay caused by Dixieline in getting the cabinets). I think that I am a difficult customer to please because I ponder each decision very carefully and I extremely detail-oriented. (I am kind of like a contractor's worst nightmare in some ways.) But pleased I was. I would heartily recommend this contractor for any remodel job.
