Fan Diego

They offered me the "Angie's List" deal of "they pay sales tax" even without knowing I was a member. They only offer one discount so they would not accept the $20 off coupon as well. The "sales tax" coupon says ALSO ask about our military discount. When we did they said "only one discount" even though the ad says "ALSO ask..." They wound up taking off 10% which made the price the same as a competitor on the internet. Then they did not deliver when promised nor did they let me know it was delayed. When I went to the store on the original due date they said I should call the shipper myself but they gave me incomplete info on tracking. The shipper finally figured it out even without the missing info and they let me know when it finally got to the store. The store never did contact me on its arrival. I did not use their installation services because it cost $150 even though competing stores like Lamps Plus only charge $95 for the same thing.

They did not have anyone to come out. The remote that they sent was not compatible to our fan. I then had to hire an electrician to come out and make the remote compatible. Not a good situation.

We went to their store. Their service turned out fine. They had what we wanted so bought it.

We purchased eight new fans from Fan Diego. They offered a great selection of fans and were very helpful. In particular, Sabrina Henedon was outstanding in her knowledge of the products and assistance to us when one of the fans had a mechanical flaw. We would certainly recommend Fan Diego to anyone needing fans.

Living in San Diego it is important to have fans around your house since a lot of times there is no air conditioning. This was how our beach house was and we suffered through last summer without any fans so we thought we would have some new ceiling fans installed during the winter. We called up Fan Diego and told the our budget/style we wanted. They worked with us to figure out the best fans for the price. The technician came out as scheduled and was able to install the two fans in only a couple of hours. I will be recommending Fan Diego to any of my friends or family in the area who are in need of ceiling fans.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were new to the area and unfamiliar with temps and how to keep the most comfortable in the house without tremendous electric bills but wanted it all to look nice and not just thrown together. The person who worked with us listened to us and gave us her ideas and helped us put it all together in a way we are very happy with. The overall experience with Fan Diego was good. We had to return a few times to exchange fans that didn't work well with our room/decor. At times it didn't seem as if they understood the concerns we had and there seemed to be a definite push to purchase one of their more expensive fans, but all in all everyone involved was very helpful. There weren't many "inexpensive" fan options to choose from; be prepared to spend a LOT more than you would at big chain stores. However, I think you pay for much better service and a more knowledgeable staff.

I had shopped at Home Depot, Lowe's, Lamps Plus and several on-line sites looking for a 42-44 inch brushed nickel fan with light and NO remote control. The few that were advertised in the paper were out of stock and/or discontinued when I went to HD and Lowe's. I called Lamps Plus before wasting a trip over there and was told, "We don't have any in stock but we can order one." I wanted one I could see. A nice clerk at HD suggested I go to Fan Diego. I was greeted at the door, asked what I was looking for and when I told them was led to the exact type of fan I wanted. I brought my husband back a day later and bought the fan from Jeanie. She explained all about the workings of the fan and the lifetime guarantee. She had me purchase a safe-t-brace in case my installer needed one. He didn't so I returned it with no problem. You can purchase a fan at HD or Lowe's for $60, but if you want a good fan, I suggest you go to Fan Diego.
