 + 0 moreI heard about this place on the news and went to an "Art Happy Hour" to unwind from my work week. I was welcomed warmly by the owner, artist Tish Sjoberg, and immediately became engaged in doodling "table art" as I met and chatted with others who were doodling at my table. Some were regulars and some were first-timers like me. There were all sorts of art-making stations available. Some folks were painting Jackson P******-style, some were doing collage at a table full of trimmed images, others read poetry--all in all it was a very refreshing experience. Wine was offered for purchase for a few bucks and there were complimentary munchies. I felt relaxed and connected and inspired! This place is like kindergarten for adults (: YAY!
Description of Work: Creative offerings for stress-relief. No experience necessary. Doodling tables, painting studio, sand-play room, open mike--all for adults! A truly unique establishment. They also do private expressive arts therapy and coaching sessions and private art parties.
