They came out to my house and were on time for the appointment. They also called me within the two business days as stated on Angie's List. They gave me an estimate and I had to decline for right now. I was unaware of how much it would ultimately cost to do my window treatments. They were very professional and I would consider using them in the future.

Went fine. Blinds look and work great.

Bob told me someone would be at my home on Monday, 8/18/2014 to take measurements. I waited all day, and no one showed. I called Bob at 3:00 to tell him I had not heard from anyone. He said he would see what was going on, and someone may be there after 5:00. I asked him to have someone call me. When I did not hear from anyone, I called Bob again at 4:15 to get a recording that the office was closed. I left a message that I had not heard from anyone, no response. While I understand things may change plans, there is no excuse for someone not calling with an explanation. I put my day on hold until 8:30 at night, waiting for phone call or someone to show up. This is the first experience with this company, and I cannot believe the lack of customer service. If this is how I will be treated during the purchase, I do not want to do business with Express Blinds.

They were very effeciant. Installer was a little late but he called me to let me know. I was happy with the job they did.

Was very pleased with the quality and result of the shutters. Bob Sole was very attentive when I reached out to him; however, I was a bit disappointed by the promptness in which they reached out to me. Was told I would receive a call after the quote was approved and I submitted my deposit and had to reach out to Bob to check-in. Once reached Bob got the wheels in motion. Also had to check-in to schedule an installation date once the sizing was complete. Was quoted 10 days and had to call at 15 days. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would highly recommend this company to others.

Two windows had blinds installed, fast and no problem. There was apparently a problem with the vertical blinds as they were delayed a few days past the initial installation. When verticals were ready, they installed them quickly.

Owner came by with a wide variety of blind samples. I told him that i wanted shutters and he had me make another appointment for a measure. That guy took a week getting back to me, then another week to set up the appointment for the measure. The shutters got there just in the nick of time for my company to arrive. The installer was very nice and I am happy with my blinds. The only comment I have is that they should change theri name because there was nothing "Express" about it. If you are not in a hurry I would definitely recommend these guys.

I bought the Deal of the Day which was $99 for $400 worth of blinds, shutters, etc. We have a large & long picture window (like 2 windows in one that open on each end) in our living room with 1 additional non opening picture window on each side of that. I wasn't 100% sure that I would be able to get what we needed in that "$400" price range, but at the same time, my windows aren't THAT big. So I was hopeful. Bob the owner showed up 30 minutes earlier than expected. He had me confused with someone else that had apparently changed their appointment time, but no big deal. He was very pleasant, helpful, a bit over the top in his exuberance and happiness to tell me about his company, what they had to offer, and going on & on about how beautiful our windows and views are. But still very nice. I began looking through his samples and he helped me choose what would work best. I wanted something to block the sun but still be able to see through, or raise and close easily. Then it went a bit downhill after that. He measured my windows and said very matter of factly that there was no way he could give me the Angies List deal because my windows were too big. Plain and simple. I was slightly irritated that there wasn't even an attempt to make the deal work! He then said he could still get me the blinds/window coverings we were discussing but at an additional cost. I made the mistake of thinking, " How much extra could it come to?" Let me preface this by saying I wasn't even looking at the top of the line, high end shades!! I kept it low to mid range. Well Bob gave me 3 prices on (1) regular venetian blinds, (2) cordless shades, (3) next level up of shades from cordless. Cough, cough....Here was my quote: #1 - $366 for plain venetian blinds, #2 - $984 for cordless shades, #3 - $1271 for the next level up. And those prices were WITH him giving me an Angies List discount of $400 off from the deal. That was WAY more than I expected them to be and more than what I was willing to pay. While I really appreciate that Bob was willing to give me a Angies List deal discount, that just seemed to be very expensive; especially since I could go to Walmart, Target, JCP and get them much cheaper. I ended up spending my $99 on a new "header" rail for my patio slider blinds in our dining room. (I had originally ordered my blinds thru JCP but one rod came bent in one area. I didn't want the hassle of returning them and waiting for another one to come in the mail so my husband was able to hammer out some of the bent area but it was still difficult to open and shut them in that one spot. Also my blinds were dragging a bit on our floor.) So Bob said he could replace the rod for me and raise my blinds another 1/2 inch to stop them from dragging. I went ahead and ordered that. A few days later, Gus, the installer called me and we scheduled a day & time for him to come out and install. Gus was very pleasant, on time, cheerful, helpful and thorough. He did a great job in taking down the old rod, installing and raising the new one, and putting my blinds back together. Made sure I could open & close them with no problem, etc. He was great. Now my patio blinds slide open & closed very easily which is great. My only complaint was Gus did not take our old rod with him to dispose of so now we have to get rid of it. No major problem, just more annoying. Lastly, I received a call from Express Blinds this past Saturday asking me if my work had been done yet. Apparently my file had been mixed in with others where work had not been completed on and the admin was following up. When I told her that Gus had already been out and the work completed she was surprised to hear that but said she would take my file out of the pile she had. My comment to any future buyer - if this deal comes up again is this: If you have only 1 small to "regular" window, or maybe a couple of small windows that you are looking for window treatments, then this deal may be for you. But if you have large window (s) then you might want to pass unless you're prepared to pay over & beyond the $99!

I was a bit confused about what the offer entailed and went ahead and signed up for it. The owner of Express Blinds (very nice) came to the house, measured and subsequently sent me a quote via email. The price quoted is higher than what I would like to pay for window coverings and I would like a refund of my deposit of $99 please.

It went well. They gave me a quote but I didn't use it. It's positive, the guy was synchronized and he's very knowledgeable. The quote was for the 2 windows and for the shutters. I have no problem with them except their price.

Bob was great to work with, responds quickly and the service they used to make and install the blinds were great. They called to arrange for measurements and installation. When 2 blinds did not fit correctly, they came back on a Saturday to install the corrected blinds. Bob himself called to apologize. Everyone I spoke with were very professional and easy to work with.

It was a fantastic experience all around. I had hesitated, as in the past, I used a very well known blind company and ended up with a very poor installation as well as customer service-they never could get it right. What a difference with using Express Blinds. They were professional, helpful and all they cared about was making me happy, which they certainly did. We love out new blinds and they work perfectly. How refreshing to find a company that actually delivers what they promise. We cannot recommend them enough.

I had made some curtains, andI had met Kelly once and she talked a good story. So I hired them to put grommets in my curtains - which she said they could do. We talked over the phone first, and she said asked about placement of he grommets and I asked if she could look at the curtains first so I could get her opinion. So I mailed the curtains, didn't hear from her for almost 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later. To make a long story short, her discussions were nil to short, the grommets were misplaced and I am out almost $300 for her work and the cost of the material which was expensive! She even said she'd deliver the curtains back to me, but insteead mailed them. No wonder, as they were made incorrectly and the grommets were scratched. Totally unprofessional. There are too many other companies out there so don't waste your time here.
