Express Appliance Service

I called based upon the reviews both here and on yelp, specifically asking for Cezar, which meant I had to wait a long time for an appointment. Worth it. He was very thorough and tidy. And he taught me how to some maintenance better to prolong the life of my appliances. A dishonest person would have taken advantage of what I don't know. I would use him again, and highly recommend him.

I decided not to repair washer as there were too many problems. He did fix the seal that had come off on the door. I was given a partial refund for his work.

Did not request that the work be done due to the possible high cost of repair. Cesar was very honest about the whole thing and did not charge us any extra for over an hours worth of diagnostics.

Same day appt. Arrived within service window. Nice and professional. Cost was less than original estimate.

I would use him again. In fact, I'm pretty sure that my husband called him back out and he did another great job for us.

He listened to my concerns. He listened to the efforts we had already expended on our own. He was quick to get to work. He complimented my husband's efforts to get as far as he did without experience. He showed me where the clog in the line was located. He then offered to let my husband clean the clog and call it quits at just the initial $45 fee or said he could clear the line, clean the trap and attach it himself - for a fee of $125. We opted to let the repairman do it for the $125. Now the machine works like a champ and we're all happy!

Well. They were efficient and got the work done right away.

diagnosis agreed to and paid for upfront at $45.00. replacement of thermostat (a timed event) took 6 minutes with a charge of $139.95. I informed the technician I would not use his service again given labor charge (total of $145.00: upfront paid at $45 and at the time of service an additional $100.00). a handyman could have/would have done this at 1/2 that price.

Cezary came to our home the same day I phoned Express Appliance Service and quickly diagnosed the problem of worn out coils, also referred to as solenoids. He had the parts with him and fixed our clothes dryer, all in less than 30 minutes. I'm very happy he fixed our dryer in one visit, would definitely recommend this company and use it again.

Express Appliance and in particular their technician Stan did a great job for me. My wine cellar had stopped working with an inscrutable error code as the only clue. Stan diagnosed the problem quickly -a bad sensor - and made a good case for replacing all four at once. I agreed. Once the sensors were in, he arrived early in the arrival window and right on time based on his 'I'll be there in 20 minutes call.' He let me know that the repair would be less than the estimate as the the unit only had three sensors. Very quickly all was running as it should and I left town for a week-long trip. Upon return I noticed that it was running all the time and not cooling. When I called they offered to send someone next day, but I deferred until the next week. Stan was right on time, found the loose connection (in the fan - not something he had worked on) and had it repaired in about 30 minutes. No charge, no worries - all is good. Great service - they will be my first call for any other appliance issues.

Services went fine. The main problem I was concerned about (the icemaker repair was for my husband!) was that the fridge kept developing an iceball on the back left wall while not keeping cold enough. Tad told me to turn down the fridge control instead of maxing it out. Counterintuitive but, by golly, it worked! The fridge temp actually did go down. And it cost me $0 for repairs! I got a second opinion from another company and was told I needed a new evaporator assembly and a sealed system repair which would cost $1,200. Or course I never needed that done. I'm going to keep this ancient Sub Zero until it dies.

When I needed someone to come out and take a look at our Bosch dishwasher, Express Appliance were only outfit that could do it in a timely manner, and sent a technician that same day. The initial visit was only $45, which was very reasonable and the technician correctly identified the problem as a defective inlet valve. He gave us an estimate of $100 for the part and $165 for labor. That seemed expensive for a dishwasher that didn't cost all that much more than that. I checked on line and the part was $30 from Bosch and was easily installed by a homeowner in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the part and installed it myself and the dishwasher now works. I'm grateful to Express Appliance for rapidly diagnosing the problem, but if I they had repaired it I would have grossly overpaid. If I do have them out again I would carefully check their estimate.

I love those guys, those guys are great. They're always courteous on the phone. They're on time. They're always professional and they are incredibly fair. This dishwasher, to fix it would be more than purchasing a new dishwasher. This guy was very upfront and said the part is going to be this amount of money and then it will be this amount of money to install it. So, that total price and a few more bucks and you can go out and buy a new dishwasher and he was right spot on. He had to go home and search the internet to find the pieces that he wanted or needed so he went above and beyond.

I called because of the excellent reviews in Angie's List but provider never returned call. Used A+ Appliances who responded promptly and did a great job.

I called Express Appliance for a second opinion on a dishwasher repair and I am so happy that I did. Shortly after Thanksgiving my moderately priced 18 month old dishwasher stopped working. I loaded it up and ran it one day and the very next time I ran it two days later, although it operated electronically and ran the full cycle, it did so without water. A repairman came out and quoted me $199 to replace the electronic control panel. I agreed and when he replaced it the dishwasher still would not operate. Then he told me that the computer would need to be replaced at a cost of an additional $99 so the total would have been approx. $498 including all the parts and labor. I couldn't see paying that much on what I was beginning to consider a defective dishwasher so I told him it was too much and he took out the new control panel and I was back where I had started. I started investigating purchasing a new dishwasher but it was a few weeks before Christmas and I just didn't have the time or energy to put into searching for a new large appliance, let alone the money. Instead I decided to get a second opinion and called Express Appliance. I am so happy I did. The repairman came out, took off the front panel and went to work. He figured out what was wrong, replaced some cables, charged me $145 and the dishwasher was back in business. I am very happy I called them.

Dryer had lint build-up underneath the the dryer drum. He removed the front part and cleaned the whole underbelly...and replaced the burnt out heating element. I could so easily have had a dryer fire and never knew how much lint could get into so many hidden places other than the lint screen and vent. I was impressed with the time and care he took to have everything in working order and SAFE.

Fantastic. Very professional, knowledgeable, and open to questions. He even changed my oven settings as part of the diagnosis/trip cost (didn't charge any additional). I chose to shop for a new cooktop rather than repair it, and Cesary never made me feel bad for making that choice. The repair would have been about 2/3 of the price of a new one, and since it's already 17 years old, I'm probably going to opt for a new one. But if I change my mind and elect to fix it, I'll definitely call him. And if any other appliance in my home breaks, I am positive I'll call him again. I'm excited to have an oven that works better! I'll also mention he is very neat and clean in appearance. I don't know why this should be important to me, but it is. Sometimes repair people look bedraggled, sweaty, and you feel like you need to clean after they leave, but not Cesary. He was definitely professionally dressed and groomed. Overall, a great experience.

Even though my microwave is over 10 years old and I couldn't find the model number, Cezur knew exactly what it was with just a brief description. He said he had the bulb in stock and told me the price of the bulb so that I would know how much of the total cost would be labor. Very honest and personable, not to mention, fast! He arrived at my house within 20 minutes of my call! Probably a bit of a fluke to be able to come that quickly, but it was great. He fixed the oven quickly, especially considering that he had to take it out of the wall to do it. Additionally, he noticed something else that was wrong with the microwave and repaired it for us at no charge. How nice is that!! He's very thorough and I think it would've been hard for him to leave it undone. He will be the person I call for any appliance that I need repaired.

He took the dishwasher apart and told me what was causing the problem. He also suggested how to prevent the problem in the future. The serviceman did an excellent job.

Found that replacement part would be the entire computer board at a cost of $2300. Explained why that was the only solution and suggested that I might prefer to purchase a new oven. Existing oven was a 6 year old Dacor. Apparently that brand has had a lot of problems, based on other on-line reviews. Service rep did not charge for the house call and said they don't take any money until they make the repair. The following day, the owner of Express Appliance, Caesar, called and said he'd like to come out for a re-check at no cost because the repairs quoted were so excessive. Upon arrival and another thorough check of the oven, he concurred with the previous assessment and said they could replace the part, but the manufacturer's warranty would be for only one year. He told me to take my time in considering whether I wanted to proceed or replace the oven. There was never any pressure for them to do the work or the need to make a quick decision. I did finally choose to purchase a new oven, but would highly recommend Express Appliance for their honesty, courtesy, and timely response. I will be using them for any future appliance repairs.

Express Appliance Service arrived on time within the time frame they gave me. My wall oven had stopped heating, though it still turned on. The repairman had the problem with the control board diagnosed and fixed within the hour. At one point, he called for another person in case he needed help pulling the heavy oven from the wall. Cezary showed up within what seemed like just a few minutes. Now that's Express Service!

Very nice guy. Determined the problem quickly. Unfortunately, parts and labor was close to the cost of a new "cheap" washer, so we will just get a new one. I would use Express again.

I called and spoke with Cezary. I explained I had priced the replacement part and wanted an estimate for repair. He offered to charge same amount for part and went on to charge a fair service charge. He called as promised to verify when part would be available. Upon receipt of part he called and scheduled a same day appointment. He arrived on time, was self sufficient and cleaned up after his work was done.

My dryer would click on but not actually work. Tad came out and within minutes found the problem and had the part with him and now my dryer is running again. I need a new thermal fuse.Very professional and done quickly!
