Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option. Do not hire this company. They are terrible. I had to fire them after 2-3 hours. The quality of their work is extremely poor. They left 1/4 inch gaps between the floor and the first 3 door jambs plus they cut the casing an inch above the floor. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this company and hire someone else.

Genaro “cowboy” Salazar, owner of Explosive City Tile, is a perfectionist and a pleasant personality to work with. I hired Genaro to fix previous a bad ceramic tile installation. So I needed a perfectionist to put everything right. Being a perfectionist is his selling point.

Our house flooded and we decided to go with tile instead of carpet. Since we were desperate it get back to normal. We ended up going with Explosive city tile because “Cowboy” was very understanding of our situation. He started our job the very next day and we were moving back in within 3 days. He will tell you that he’s a perfectionist and he’s not wrong. We have a beautiful tile floor and look forward to hiring explosive city do more projects for us in the near future.

Genaro did a wonderful job tiling around our fireplace. He is very talented. He says that he is a perfectionist, and I in my experience that rings true. Our job wasn’t easy. I selected a small glass tile, and the wall surface was uneven, and our floor is not level. The tile came out beautiful and even. Genaro was prompt, very responsive and is so pleasant. I would not hesitate to have him back on another project.

Genarro and his crew did an absolutely AMAZING job with our large format (4x4) tile installation! This guy is a perfectionist, which is something we certainly appreciated for the tile install. Reworked a few tiles that we thought were fine but were not up to his standards . What can I say - this guy is a lifetime pro, does the job at a very competitive rate and after 2 years of daily use - 0 cracks or defects. Thank you Genarro!!!

Genaro Salazar, Explosive City Tile, is Extremely Knowledgeable, is Very Professional and did an Excellent Job for us. There is no question that we would use him again.

Genaro Salazar and his associates did several amazing jobs for us. I first hired him to replace all of our flooring with non-slip porcelain tile. He not only provided the lowest of three bids, he was the most careful in presenting options and descriptions to us, and he came across as sincere and caring about doing a great job. And he did! He is a true craftsman - extremely careful about planning the layout of tiles. His job was done beautifully. Thereafter I used him to remodel two bathrooms, building new shower stalls and installing flooring there as well. Again, I could not be happier with his work. Genaro also has an engaging personality. This is important because you are with these people 9 hours a day for many days! Honestly, I cannot recommend him more highly.

The workers worked very hard and showed up every day they said they said they would. Generro has a lot of integrity and is very respectful. He is a good guy and his work is good.

Genaro (aka Cowboy) did 2 bathrooms for us, floors and showers, and we could not be happier. We have a 100 year old home, with lots of issues and he tackled them all and came up with great solutions. Quality of workmanship is unmatched. Lots of guys doing tile these days but quality is low, not many left like Genaro. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your next job.

We needed to have the grout in our shower replaced and the marble sealed. It was done efficiently and the job turned out great. As long as they were here they sealed the grout on our tile floors and cleaned the tile backsplash in the kitchen and sealed it too. Very happy with Xplosive City Tile and would use them again. Highly recommend.
