Experience deteriorated over time until by the end i terminated their service because they had destroyed the finish on over 2000 square feet of new engineered wood flooring. They provide staff and their own cleaning supplies.Turned out to be a liability because ultimately they used incorrect products in my house. The initial team left a clean house, but was very harsh - unbalanced a very expensive ceiling fan that we had to have serviced, took a chip out of our custom cherry cabinets. little things disappeared- change left on dressers etc.often they arrived late or rescheduled and this got worse over the course of several months. i was thinking of discontinuing service when Todd, the head of the agency, called to tell me that he had had complaints from other clients about my crew and my team leader had been let go. I was going out of town for a few weeks so we scheduled the new crew on my return. The new leader, a sweet guy, was a total disaster in terms of knowledge about appropriate cleaning products. Never got my phone number right- kept planning to come on the wrong week. when he finally arrived he managed to foul all the igniters on my DCS cooktop (i finally with alot of patience, Q-tips and rubbing alcohol got them to work again) and proceeded to use Murphy's oil soap on polyurethane factory-finished, engineered walnut (and one room of bamboo) wood floors. the floors were oil-slick slippery (dangerous) and the finish was a mess.We could not wipe it off even though my husband got on his knees with towels and tried to wipe it up. It was a nightmare. I called to complain. I purchased Bona cleaner for them to work on cleaning the mess (oil mixed with the dirt they never cleaned off the floors) off the floors. The cleaner ignored the directions on the label, applied that incorrectly (too heavily- a recurring theme now) and made the matter worse. I terminated the service. 3 months later, and several calls and an email request and i have yet to get my house key back. I have spent over $500 remediating my wood floors (not back to their original condition and probably never will be- the floors cost us over $20,000 to install) and fixing the fan.At this point I need to change the locks on my house. Excel did significant damage to my home. Friends have advised me to consider legal action, although I hate to go that route, but I am thinking about it.

There were very few to no issues for 90% of the time I employed their services. At times the quality of the job was lacking, but improved after I reported it. In January 2010, I reported that my appliances had been scratched by abrasive cleansers. The manager said he had seen the damage and would replace the damaged part, but came up with excuse after excuse for 6 months and did nothing. I finally sent an email requesting resolution and received no response. I sent a certified letter which was never picked up by the service. I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau which was never acknowledged by the business.

Description of Work: They never showed up. And never called to cancel or change dates before hand. Was late to work waiting and left a note to not bother, so maybe that is why they didn't call?

Excel sent a crew of four people to my house, which included a supervisor. The supervisor looked the house over and asked me questions about areas that were a particular problem. She then assigned work areas, and ensured that the cleaning was performed well. The crew was efficient, thorough, and friendly. I was very happy with the service they provided, and would certainly use them again.
Description of Work: Excel Cleaning did a whole house cleaning on my home.

They come out once a month. They get the house cleaned up very professionally. They get everything sparkling and smelling good. They do good work and are very reasonably priced too.
