Stay away from this company and affiliated businesses like Daley Masonry! Michael Mulder influence's he's affiliated partners to act unethical and lack integrity on delivering good craftsmanship. The owner Michael Mulder doesn’t care about your property and will damage it from his own work and charge you for fixing it. He will try to foreclose on your home and sue you on top of it! Michael will not take responsibility or even give you an apology when his work is improper and delivers poor craftsmanship. He destroyed my backyard by one of the biggest walls collapsing on site. 8 months later and he still refuses to fix it even though it is under warranty. Michael Mulder is unethical, unprofessional & shady. He want us to pay for his unauthorized and unsigned charges before he does any warranty work. It feels like extortion and fraud! We gave him multiple attempts to fix the issues and 8 months later he refused to fix it. He withheld general liability insurance for over 6 months and he abandoned the job site. He breached his duties, warranty, & contract. Before you hire a landscape company make sure you ask upfront for the General Liability information & Professional Liability Policy(E&O) otherwise the insurance won’t cover all the damages for defected work or poor craftsmanship. If they don’t have professional liability you demand they get one before any work is started. This guy has very low standards and greedy. He will try to take advantage of you to squeeze more money out of you for deceptive charges. Trust me stay away! He has a fake personality and unethical tendencies. Very professional EVO team. They were efficient and thorough, and their price was very reasonable. They also stand behind their warranty - if there are any concerns after job completion, EVO resolves to the customer's satisfaction. A 5-star company!

Everyone on the staff was very knowledgeable and professional. They arrived when expected and completed the work before the schedule. They worked really hard and took time to do it right. They did a really nice job. It was a pleasure interacting with the staff. I am very pleased with the turf and would strongly recommend them.

Excellent Job

Evo Turf sued me for my negative review! I was dissatisfied with the job Evo did at my house, and posted a review about it. Initially, I posted a positive review for them before the final walk through, and also before the communication with the CEO and COO of the company that ensued. Evo ultimately threatened to sue me if I didn’t take down my negative reviews, and also release all rights against them including the warranty on the turf. The CEO of Evo Turf first threatened a lien on my family's home to get me to pay for the job I was dissatisfied with AFTER they had agreed to give me a full refund, and then they threatened defamation for my reviews through their attorney. Because my wife and I were afraid of being sued and to avoid a lien on our home, I paid in full and took down the reviews, but I refused to be bullied into releasing my rights, and EVO STILL SUED ME for Defamation! I won the case through an anti-SLAPP motion (being appealed), and Evo now owes me over $45,000 in attorney fees from the judgment I got against them. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this. Being born and raised in San Diego, I could have referred them a lot of business. I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone.

We used them for re-doing our ~500 sqft backyard which had old uneven and ugly asphalt. We looked at replacing it with concrete slab or pavers. I spent a fair enough time between Yelp, Angie's list and Houzz.com to get several quotes and for the amount of work, Evoturf was very reasonable for pavers. Actually came in close enough to the concrete slab option and made the decision easy. Pavers look a lot nicer :) Nick, Kevin and the crew were very professional and we are very happy with the attention to details and amount of work they put in over 3 days. Felt they were quick and did not cut corners.

Great! Looks beautiful.

It went extremely well for the most part. We worked with Mike, who was very responsive and helpful. We took a long time to decide on which turf, and insisted on seeing several types in place on some lawns to help us figure out which one to buy. Good thing we did! Ones we liked in a one-foot square looked so fake when seen on the actual lawn, and we wanted something that looked as real as possible. Mike went out of his way to make sure we had access to all the possibilities, and came out several times to help us with the decision process. We finally picked a turf after driving all over to see their work in place. Once we decided which one we wanted, the work was done very quickly, and it looks fabulous. They've returned to fix up a few loose ends, and will also be repairing some damage that occurred when the recent rains caused an animal statue to topple over and poke a hole in the brand new turf. We're getting tons of compliments on how everything looks, and we love it too!

Smooth! I got a few quotes from different companies. EvoTurf was the most comfortable fit for me as their staff were amazing from the sales guy to the lovely lady in the office that coordinated everything flawlessly. Other companies were rushed and in some cases rude to me! EvoTurf worked with me with what I wanted to do and were very pleasant! Besides the people, the work was great and my lawn looks amazing!

The people at Evo Turf did a really good job explaining the process and making sure that we we're very comfortable with how things would happen at our house during the process. The install crew was awesome. Everyone had a great attitude and they got the job done way faster than we expected. They even made sure that our dog didn't excape while they were going back and forth while he was in the backyard. The quality of work was first class and we are beyond happy with the overall project. I would recommend Evo Turf 100%!

The project went great. Once again the people over at Evo Turf did a great job. The price was great and the customer service was as good as we have ever had. I can honestly say that these guys are the best in the turf and paver business. I will recommend them to my friends and family. Now all we need is a basketball court.... Hopefully soon.

The people at Evo Turf were great. In fact the entire process was easier than I anticipated. The sales person Chris was informative and brought probably 10 different styles of turf to choose from. The other companies that came to give us bids offered very little selection. Once we decided to go with Evo Turf the process was very smooth. There was good communication with the office and plenty of advance notice as to when the work would take place. The installers were awesome. I must say that Kevin and the other install guys were great! They answered all my questions (probably dumb) and helped me to understand the install process. These guys made it look easy, even though it was a ton of work. All in all, I give Evo Turf a perfect grade. Good customer service, great price and great quality of work. I would choose and recommend them in the future. A+
