I ordered a Total Gym, however I wanted additional accessories. I found their website, called and ordered attachments for my Total Gym. I charged it to my credit card. Received incorrect equipment, returned for correct attachments, finally received correct attachments. Have invoices showing paid in full. One and a half years later we get an email from their accounting firm informing us that we owe them $170. We respond via email saying invoice was paid in May 2008 via credit card. They then sent a letter in the mail saying that we owe them $170, with a copy of the invoice which shows it was paid (whited out). Stating that they had a glitch in their credit card system a year and a half prior and that we owe them $170. We tried calling them; we tried customer service, accounting, sales and even the operations, no one picks up the phone. We call several times a day, several different days. Next thing we know we get a notice, saying that they have sent us to collections. We talk to an attorney who says we need to pay them. We contact the collections company, they tell us to contact Efi Sports Medicine. We send a money order, with proof of confirmation receipt. One Year 9 months, after our original purchase, we finally receive notice from the collections company saving the matter has been resolved. Still no word from Efi Sports Medicine or their accounting people.
