I highly recommend Adam from Eco Roots Gardening. Adam performed an annual cleanup of our backyard for a fair price. The yard was in pretty bad shape with overgrown hedges and weeds throughout - One was more like a tree. Adam arrived on time the day of service and got to work right away. He worked straight through until completion of the project. Adam disposed of all the waste from the cleanup and left our back yard in bbq-ready shape. Adam surprised us by going above and beyond the scope of our project. He pruned our citrus trees and other potted plants and fixed a problem we were having with the sprinkler system. Adam is respectful and provides top notch customer service. He communicated very well from quote to completion. We will be working with Adam and Eco Roots Gardening for our future landscaping needs.

Adam is top notch: smart, creative and attentive to the customer’s needs. I had two offers before I found Adam, both of which were outrageously expensive and rather slapdash. His estimate was extremely reasonable and much closer to what I had budgeted for the project. Adam suggested we start first by remediating the soil. I hadn’t thought about doing that, but realized immediately that he was right. He clearly thinks carefully about the health of my garden, and brings ideas that are ecologically sound. He considers planting for bees and butterflies, which is something I care about too. He will be doing work in stages, giving the soil time to absorb nutrients and conserve water. Then in a couple of months we can talk about planting a few additions to the yard. Adam is efficient and works hard all day long. I couldn’t be happier with the work he has done, and look forward to relying on his knowledgeable approach and good aesthetic sense when we move to the next stage in the fall.

Adam was extremely knowledgeable and creative in the work he did. The assignment was very complex and required a lot of painstaking work and research to convert a water-sucking lawn into a more environmentally friendly and sustainable option. Adam had great suggestions that would help our lawn be more sustainable and easy to manage—but also listened to what we wanted and taught us how to care for native plants. He turned our yard from an eyesore to a beautiful oasis! Flexible, understanding and a pleasure to work with! Can’t recommend him any more highly!
