Description of Work: Rudy took down an old broken ceiling fan; and he installed a new ceiling fan. He, then, asked if we had anything else, electrical, we needed fixing. So, he fixed an outlet, in the kitchen. |Rudy was very friendly, polite, and we will call Dwelling Electric in the future.

Description of Work: They were supposed to install a ground wire for a SDGE connection. The fellow was nice, but did not know what would be acceptable to the inspector. I thought 200.00 would cover that service, a stake and a wire. But he said parts were extra, of course. I did not realize it would cost EXTRA and had no extra funds that day. I I called to try to resolve it with them, but got ignored. That was a very expensive muistake, I will use Angies List NO MORE.

Description of Work: reinstalled 4, 3 way switched (that were previously botched by another electrician), |Installed an outside light, relocated a J-Box for a chandelier in my dining room, installed dimmer switches for 2 lights (another fix for an incompetent electrician), and fixed 2 switches in my master and family room. Everything works perfectly now. the work was professional and detailed. I will certainly use this company for all of my needs in the future, and highly recommend them to others.

Description of Work: I paid for 6 hours of service. The jobs (ceiling fan install, flood light above garage install and sconce install in family room) got done adequately and professionally---he cleaned up everything when he was done. I wasn't crazy about how much got done in that 6 hours. He spent a long time troubleshooting an issue that should not have taken as long as it did. Paying an hourly rate would have worked well if he was able to accomplish more, but I didn't feel like it was worth what I paid for it. For $50 an hour, I would expect someone to work more quickly.

Description of Work: They installed 3 14 feet light fixtures, a new ceiling fan, fixed a broken plug, put two sconces in the wall with light switches. The installation went very. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Rudy went to a Home Depot for supplies and replaced a conduit that had rusted through exposing to the elements electrical wires going to the kitchen, installed 5, GFCIs (ground fault circuit interrupters) to help prevent electrical shock or electrocution, one in each of three bathrooms and two in the kitchen, and replaced an under the cabinet fluorescent light in the kitchen. Rudy was on time, pleasant, efficient, great to work with and performed exceptionally. I highly recommend Dwelling Electric and will use them again for future electrical needs.

Description of Work: Tech arrived on time, examined the electrical problem with 3 of our outlets in the house and listened to what I wanted to have done aside from that which was to replace a ceiling fan in our Master Bedroom. He advised that both jobs seemed doable but it would depend greatly on how serious the problem was with the outlets. He was able to fix the outlets very quickly. He was unsupervised but still completed the task in what I would consider the fastest humanly possible leaving plenty of time to do the ceiling fan. He asked appropriate questions about the ceiling fan install to ensure that it was a safe thing for him to do. He completed the ceiling fan replacement and carried the old unit out to my garage. He tested all the work and demonstrated that everything was in-fact functional. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: I needed ceiling fans installed in four bedrooms, but none had existing wires for them. Jeff and a partner came out and wired all of the bedrooms, then installed all four ceiling fans. They showed up at 11am as they promised, and were finished with the work by 3pm. They did a great job.

Description of Work: Waited 3 months for the service, too long! Put up security cameras & ran wire to recorder. Wire was thrown over 2nd story roof, not secured under eves. 1 of cameras stopped working, and & didn't want to wait another 3 months for them to fix. To do the job right I had to engage another contractor.
