+ 1 moreI bought the 199.00 4 hour electrical deal from Dwelling electric. Jeff called me back the day i called and we set up an appointment. I did keep him longer than four hours so I paid an extra $100.00. I kept running to home depot for things I wanted him to do! He was friendly and professional. He put down plastic and cleaned up after he was done. I would definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Installed three ceiling fans with light kits (including repairing one of the boxes in the ceiling) and installed a surface light with a dimmer switch.

He quickly identified the issues and was able to quote pricing on the fly for the work that needed to be completed, and he always stuck to exactly what he quoted so there were no surprises. I was very satisfied with the work completed, and Jeff went out of his way to make sure things were done right the first time. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.
Description of Work: I needed ballasts changed in 3 can lights in the kitchen and a whole home surge protector installed on our circuit breaker.

+ -1 moreJeff arrived right on time, looked at the existing fixtures, explained what he was going to do, including any non-covered charges there might be. He got right to work and completed both projects really quickly, changing out a light fixture in the office for a ceiling fan, and replacing the old fan in the kitchen with a new one. He put down a drop cloth and kept everything clean, and even offered to dispose of the boxes. As it turned out, there were no non-covered charges. Yay! Since I had gotten both fans on sale, this turned out to be a really great deal for us. Thanks Jeff, for a job well done and for helping us to stay cool this summer!

+ -1 moreWhen Jeff arrived (punctually), he did a very thorough inspection and gave us a complete estimate of what he would do and what it would cost. He did a great job of covering up furniture and flooring where he would be working. He cut the holes exactly where we wanted them and used quality hardware to hang the fans between joists. He assembled the fans, pulled wiring to where we needed power, and completed the installation within the time estimated. He tested the installations to ensure that they were functioning correctly, and cleaned up after himself. He worked diligently and was very friendly and personable. We couldn't be happier with the service we received.
Description of Work: Four ceiling fans were installed, which also included running power to each fan location.

+ 0 moreJeff Draper (owner) is a very knowledgeable electrician. He told us about the types of fixtures that are required in the kitchen area to ensure the ones we wanted would be in code compliance. We wanted LED lighting and he was experienced with them. Jeff responded immediately to our inquiry and work was performed expeditiously. We were so impressed with the kitchen / dining area work that we decided to have him do the patio work as well. The alignment of all of the canisters is absolutely perfect. Both jobs completely met our expectations. Dwelling electric is our choice for our home electrician!
Description of Work: Dwelling Electric installed eleven recessed lights in our kitchen / dining area and also installed nine recessed lights in our patio roof. He patched the ceiling in the kitchen where our old lighting fixtures were.

+ -1 moreI called the company and left a voice message, which was returned within the hour. After describing the job and sending some photos, the job was quoted and a description given of how it would be done. At the end of the job, that's exactly what had been done. The old wiring was removed from the remains of the conduit and a small trench was dug to properly bury the conduit. The GFI breaker box was remounted properly on a post, set in concrete. What had been originally done, presumably by pool guys, was far different from what an electrician would have done. This installation will last for years, I'm sure. It's very difficult to describe with words how smoothly things go with someone who not just knows the job, but has done it enough to effortlessly work past the small issues that always come up. As is the point of Angie's List, Jeff at Dwelling Electric is precisely what we use the site to find. It's difficult to imagine how this could have gone better for me.
Description of Work: I have a spa that had metal conduit touching the dirt and had corroded through, exposing the wiring within. The conduit should have been plastic to start with but the job was to replace the conduit.

Arrived on time, installed all lights in the time promised and the price was as estimated. No service call charge......and did the work at that time. Second time a month later to install outdoor security cameras. Again, set appointment time....arrived on time.....performed the work as expected and charged the amount estimated. The owner is very professional, knows his craft, very pleasant individual. When on light ceased working, called and he came over on a weekend to check it......determined it was the light. I returned the defective light to Lowes and Dwelling came back and installed the new part. I would use Jeff and Dwelling for all electrical needs in my personal home, or any homes I own.
Description of Work: Installed security lights in 3 areas on the exterior of the house. On 3/13/2012 had him install security cameras in two outdoor locations.
