 + 0 moreJeff & Rudy were super good! We got their Angie's List deal, eight hours electrical work for $400. Explained what we needed on the phone, and then made some choices when Jeff came on site. Work was done in just over eight hours (good guess on our part), and turned out perfect. Elected to have the interior switches just installed next to the outlets that the lights were switched to, so no extra drywall / paint repair needed. Two automatic lights in front of the garage, one on our walkway, and one motion light in the backyard. Everything turned out perfect!

 + -1 moreWhere do I begin? Jeff with Dwelling Electric is INCREDIBLE. Although it took 6 weeks to get my appointment (bc he's so busy), when he arrived he delivered an exceptional product. Jeff is gracious, knowledgable, professional, punctual and an all around good guy. He, with his counterpart Rudy, worked quickly, provided invaluable advice and performed beautiful work. I live in a town home with unconventional construction and Jeff/Rudy were able to work around the issues and get the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dwelling Electric to anyone in need of electrical work. Trust me, it is worth the wait. I will use Dwelling Electric exclusively from here forward for all my electrical needs. As a matter of fact, I have them coming back in January to install new light switches and outlets. I LOVE my new lights and my new fan and could not be more thankful to Jeff and Dwelling Electric for their amazing work.

 + 1 moreDwelling called me and said they were running a little late, approx. 30 minutes. No problem, I was off all day and they were driving all the way from the Temecula area. These guys were friendly, professional and accommodating. As I said above, regarding "What did the provider do?" I opted to save money by purchasing my own parts. They gave me a list of what was needed and off to Home depot I went. While I was gone they were constantly working, further prepping the areas where the lights were to be installed and making additional assessments of my electrical needs. As an addendum, I purchased Dwelling Electrics BIG DEAL which provided 2 electricians, four hours of work (any kind of electrical work) for approximately $400.00. If you need Electricians, these 2 guys are the real deal! Dwelling Electric is professional, courteous and gets the job done right.. Including cleanup!!
Description of Work: Installed 3 Utilitech Motion sensor flood lights. 2 of the lights were mounted approximately 15 feet above ground. They also had to cut into my upstairs bedroom drywall to access the wiring for one of the lights (repairing the drywall cutting was included in the price of their work. I only needed to paint a small portion of the wall post repair :) Dwelling Electric also replaced 2 electrical sockets that were burnt and made numerous recommendations (they fixed these issues as well) to bring my wiring in line with code. For repairs, Dwelling Electric brings most of the items you need (not included in Labor cost) but I opted to buy these items myself at Home Depot. Doing so, I saved approx. 20-25 dollars.

 + 0 moreIt was great! They were really good. I had a long list of things. So they did quite a bit. They did a good job and they did as much as they possibly could in the time that I had paid for. I think they came out about three weeks after I purchased the deal. I purchased extra hours while they were here as my list kept growing. It was another $199. I got eight hours and they charged me the same rate as if I had bought through Angie's big deal. It was eight man hours. It was two hours of two men and then four hours of one man.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for Dwelling Electric for $199. He put in an extra telephone line so I could have my fax. He put up two security lights, one in the front and one in the back. He put up a front light outside my garage and he just changed out the one that was there. He put up some security cameras for me.

 + -1 moreSee above details. Jeff was very clean and picked up everything. He also had fixed my standing lamp in my office! All of it were small jobs but I had to keep them busy and my list updated. I booked him for another date in January, and he will now do some additional work. He also gave me a "deal" of $200 for the 4 hours, as before!
Description of Work: This price included 4 hours of electrical work. Jeff (owner) arrived promptly with his helper, a shorter, quieter man. I knew I was going to run overtime since I had a lot of work of small jobs to do for me. I had forgotten how they calculated the hours for 2 men. It was from 10AM to 2PM which is 4 hours X 2 people is 8 hours. So, it cost me $199 plus an additional $300 (reg. price) for extra 4 hurs. Jeff firstly fixed the switch under my kitchen sink and his helper (don't know his name) finished the job. It was full of glass that I had broken a while ago. Next he hung my chandelier and took the one that came with the house. I kept a list. Then he had his helper take down the bathroom fan and thoroughly cleaned it as I thought the fan was too slow. Next Jeff replace about 4 flood ceiling lights for me. In the Master Bath, he then took down the curly light that was inside of the round cyllinder that I never liked and put in a new replacement light unit. It made a very big difference. Jeff proceeded to replace one of my smoke alarms, with a new battery. It worked for a while but now, the battery is going off every so often! He fixed the fluorescent lights in the garage and another 2 will go up when he's here next.

They also put together a shop light and ran the electrical for it in the garage. It is perfect. We had trouble with outside wiring and their professional assessment helped us to make the necessary decisions to have safe outdoor lighting. I am looking forward to calling them again to help us with more added lighting.

 + -1 moreBesides being on time, friendly and professional, the service provider was very flexible in that we learned that contractors were not allowed to park in my underground any more due to a Building Mgt Decision, and he found parking on the street (downtown) and worked with me to make this work. He was very neat in the work he did, cleaning everything up and explaining to me what he did. I would use them again.

But they called the day before to confirm my appointment, and to confirm the work I wanted done so that they would be properly prepared. The technician was on time. He was very friendly, personable and professional. He didn't try to upsell. We ran into a few problems with the construction of my home (its a bit older, and the previous owners did a lot of "patchwork"). He gladly waited for me to make 2 quick trips to Lowes while I bought my own parts so he could finish the job, and didn't charge me extra for the time it took. He was honest, cautious, and explained my available options from cheap and quick to more expensive. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when I'm ready to fix the rest of my lights. Excellent service!
