+ -1 moreWent well. It's an old house so it took a bit of investigative work at first to determine the best plan but everything worked out perfectly. Jeff even repaired the drywall openings he made.
Description of Work: New breakers and outlets due to them tripping when multiple appliances were used at the same time. He wired an outlet in the kitchen to it's owner breaker for use with the microwave and did the same for an outlet in the bathroom for hairdryer use. He checked all of the other outlets and replaced one.

+ -1 moreAppointment was scheduled for a Sunday morning. Received a text message prior to arrival confirming arrival time. Discussed options for the overall project and settled on the installation and wiring of the ceiling fan for now. Conduit and wiring were run from an existing junction box and the housing for the fan was installed on the patio ceiling. Fan was assembled and then mounted. Clean and very professional work. Entire project was completed in about two hours. Suggestions were provided on how I could do the remaining project myself. For the remaining project, I ultimately purchased adapters for the light that can be controlled individually with a handheld remote, so no longer a need to replace and rewire the light switch. Excellent service at a reasonable price and would definitely recommend.
Description of Work: Installation of outdoor ceiling fan (no existing wiring in place), evaluation of splitting three outdoor/patio lights tied to a single switch in separate switches.

+ 1 moreJeff was awesome! He kept me apprised of when he would arrive, took careful notes of the repairs needed, got what he needed from a local hardware store, and finished everything on time with time remaining. I wish I had other things to do for him! FYI, the materials were extra.
Description of Work: We had our home remodeled in 2006 including upgrading our electrical panel. However, we had miscellaneous jobs around the house including electrical outlets, security flood lights, and light switches that stopped working. We also wanted a bathroom fan replaced with one more quiet.

Description of Work: Hang a light in the dining room ceiling....had to establish the best spot rung wires to that area and install a switch. Found the spot, drilled the hole in the drywall, ran the wires, repaired the hole very neatly, hung the light, cleaned up. Very impressed.

Description of Work: Florescent fixture in kitchen removed canned lights installed. The placement on the lights is perfect. Visibility in a dark corner 100% improved. He also installed an electrical plug in a stairway. That is super convienent. He was so careful with a mirrored wall on the reverse side of the plug installation. Jeff was easy to communicate with, gave me advice regarding some future remodel plans and suggested a timeline explaining the plans should follow a certain sequence to avoid any need for redo's or adjustments. Am quite pleased with the work and plan to have him do more in the near future.

+ 1 moreDid 1.5 days of work to install all 24 lights. Arrived as expected on both days. Rates were significantly lower than any other company I had spoken with. Quality of work and professionalism was very high. Kept the house very neat during drilling into ceiling and installation. Cleaned up completely at the end of each day. He was upfront with expectations and worked steadily toward completion of project without dawdling. Very conscientious about the hours he worked, subtracting any lunch break so that he worked the full 8 hours I paid for. Would use again and would recommend.

+ -1 moreI discovered Jeff on Angie's list and have used his services to make improvements and upgrades to my house on several occassions. Jeff is a consummate professional of the highest quality. His knowledge and expertise is spot on. Three years ago, an alumanwood company installed a patio cover. I decided this year to extend it 12 feet. The company told me that it would be cost prohibitive 2 install an additional ceiling fan and coach light without tearing out the previous install. Jeff recommended an outside junction box and after speaking with the company's supervisors, they agreed it was a perfect solution. Jeff has installed more than 4 ceiling fans, 25 ceiling lights, 5 outdoor lights, 6 motion sensors and dimmers, 6 receptacles, etc. His prices are fair, reasonable, and he is always looking for ways to save money without sacrificing quality. He will not take shortcuts with your safety or quality, and doing the job right the first time is his primary concern. Jeff has proven to me he is the best and I would use no other.
