I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. To schedule was hard. The service was excellent. They were very professional, what they quoted was exactly what I got. They told me everything upfront. Took their own time to get the supplies. I paid the price of the supplies with no additional mark up. I reviewed the work, we discussed it and we negotiated the amount of work and I was surprised it worked out perfectly. I believe all the circuits are fine and everything else. He told me upfront that the drywall would have to be cut that has to be repaired. I would recommend him.

EXTREMLY PROFFESSIONAL & MAKE SUGGESTIONS AS WELL AS EXPLAINED WHAT HE WAS DOING. I PURCHASED THE 4 HOUR DEAL BUT HE STAYED A LITTLE LONGER IN ORDER TO FINISH. I WOULD HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

It went very well. the electrician was polite, respectful, professional and very neat. Because of the foundation in my old house he wasn't able to run new wiring under the house. This made the job more labor intensive and cost more than I originally thought. He explained the issue in terms I could understand and presented me with a few options. I made my decision and he got to work on it. While he was waiting for input from his boss on the wiring he installed the light fixtures, thus had no downtime. He worked efficiently and was very neat. He laid down plastic where he worked and cleaned up afterwards. He was able to do the work the same day so no rescheduling involved.

It went very vell. We had to do an extra 2 hours worth of work, but we paid him the rate he quoted us & also paid for the materials. He showed up on time and was professional. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They are excellent, I will use them again, already scheduled them for a job in April

They called me to schedule the appointment right after I purchased the deal. They were out in about three weeks. One technician did the work and the service overall was good.

It will be a challenge to fully express how great my experience with Dwelling Electric was. Jeff Draper and his partner Rudy are REALLY good to work with. Jeff spent time on the phone with me discussing what was possible and adjusting plans for using an Angie's List coupon I had purchased. I have to explain here that because of some poor planning on MY part, the job was delayed. I won't take time for the details, but my poor planning made it impossible to complete the job on the day planned, because new and different canister lights had to be purchased, and they were not immediately available. We wasted an hour and a half of their time, until we realized it would be impossible to move forward that day. Jeff declared that we would "just stop and make a new plan to do an installation at a later date". And he refused to charge me for the wasted time. Really! As they had a busy schedule, it was a couple months before they could return to do the job. Jeff kept a easy-going attitude about the whole thing. Jeff and Rudy arrived again on time, and we made final adjustments to the installation plan. I used Utilitech brand 3 inch canister lights, and I do recommend those also. It is a relief when you have someone acting in a very professional way while they are cutting holes in your living room ceiling. But it is quite another thing to have them be truly fun to have around. These guys clearly have fun working together, and we had a great time joking and laughing while they worked. It was a pleasure to watch them problem solve how to get the lights to their optimum location and then how and where to hook into the electrical line. They are very careful about their work - and so clean, there was almost nothing to clean up, even after cutting eight holes in a sheet-rock ceiling. The result is so clean and sharp, the new lights look like they were designed for the room. I have previously hired other contractors to install ceiling lights, and didn't have nearly as good an experience in terms of clean install, tight fit, and little mess. I am often very critical of work done for me. After this installation, Jeff and Rudy of Dwelling Electric are the only guys will ever use again for any electrical work in my home. I just wish they did plumbing too!

They were responsive and called me within a couple days to schedule the work. The person I spoke with was professional and put us on a list to be called if there were cancellations.

Yes, I will be using them again...They are coming on March 10th, 2014 to do more work. I could not believe how much they got done in just the 2 hours they were at my house. My house was functioning perfectly when they left....there was a lot of work they did effortlessly.

We purchased the lights, but there were no additional fees for the labor. Overall, it was fine.

The service turned out great. He was here on time, and got all of his work done in a shorter time, than even he thought it would get done, so it was great.

I am pleased with the work performed. I had six recessed lighting installed in my kitchen. In addition, I had most of my lighting switch plates , switches , sockets upgraded. The $500.00 included the special of 199.00 for four hours -and additional 300.00 for parts. The company (Rudy) was timely and professional.

Rudy was awesome. He was prompt, helpful & professional. He drove all the way from Chula Vista. I'm not sure I would have been as positive as he was had I made a 90 mile drive (one way). I will use this company again in the future. The service is bar-none top shelf.

It was not an easy task as there are very few electrical outlets already existing in my garage. Let's just say it was well worth the money. I would highly recommend Dwelling Electric. They listened to me, we very patient and did everything I asked. I job well done!

Bought this service. After contacting the vendor and being told the first available date was 2 months out, patiently waiting for the appointment date, when the date arrived, they never showed up. Never called to reschedule, etc. Have gotten nothing and need to get a refund.

What a totally wonderful experience. Dwelling Electric was patient with me as I scheduled and rescheduled because of my own work demands. Their office kept in touch, never forgetting that they had a client out there. Once I did have an available time, the electrician, Rudy Figueroa, arrived as promised, and talked with me at length so he could understand what I was going to need accomplished. First I wanted to have 2 wall sconces installed against a very big living room wall. He explained in detail what he could and would do and what problems my big wall might present. Once he started, he so carefully installed the sconces, making sure to not get dust or dirt on anything, putting down plastic; he really had to work hard to get around insulation and fire breaks and finally installed both sconces with switches. He cleaned up and put my living room back in order. 60 minutes maybe! They look so good! Then I needed my front porch overhead lights working. He checked the switches, checked the bulb housings, figured out that the switch was fine, one of the lights was working okay but the bulb I had replaced was bad and just put a new one in, and also found out that the other overhead porch light had been cobbled together with my outdoor motion sensor (with a phone wire no less) and fixed that and removed the hazard as well. 20 minutes maybe! No more coming home in the dark. Then he went to the garage, found that one of the switches was bad, replaced it, put in a new light. 20 minutes ... no more dark garage! He checked out my patio outlets, showed how to reset the GFI and showed that they were working. Installed a cable outlet from my master to the patio so I can have my TV outside. Finally, he installed a new cable outlet in my master and a new power outlet to move my TV and cable to a different spot. During the entire 4 hours, he was so professional, and yet personable, it was a pleasure. Everything done so beautifully, I'm now just walking around looking for more work for him and Dwelling Electric to do!

The electrician show up on time answered all questions and presented various option with current work and future work solutions . He worked fast and efficiently.

Excellent service with positive attitudes! First, they were willing to adjust what the initial service request was to help me figure out why changing the batteries did not stop a couple of the smoke detectors from chirping. They checked all of them and found that the harnesses on most were not properly snapped into place so two were no longer making the proper connection and a new battery did not stop the chirps. Helped trouble shoot to figure out the issues which after three nights of chirping I REALLY appreciated. Then the team of two moved on to the issue for which I purchased the deal to begin with. They not only replaced the GFI, but then further tested this outdoor outlet and discovered it needed to be rewired. They were positive, very helpful and my house was at the end of a very long day for them and they were working outdoors after dark. Great job. I would absolutely hire them again.

Purchased their $223 for 4hours Electrical Work Big Deal on October 25, 2013. They were unable to do any work until December 20, 2013. I was told that there was a chance they could move me up to a November date, but that didn't happen and by then I felt I was committed to the Big Deal. The gentleman, Rudy, who came out to do the work was very pleasant and obviously knew his business. I originally wanted to have two overhead lights installed into an Alumawood patio cover and two exterior, non-flush mounted receptacles installed on the patio, and if there was time left, have the television mounted. When I spoke with Jeff, he quoted a minimum of 6 to 8 hours to do that work. So I had the receptacles installed by Steve Breyer for a charge of 1 hour of Dwelling's quote AND they were flush mounted as well. Anyway, Rudy was quite conservative and didn't want to install the overhead lights because he felt they would be too heavy (they weighed less than 2 pounds each), so I had him install a 55" television and sound bar (I had the mounts for both) and install an electrical/satellite receptacle behind the television. He was able to run the electricity up from an outlet directly below the location for the new receptacle and did not have to mess with any fire blocks. The same for the satellite outlet. He was very deliberate in his actions and speech (some might say slooooow.) I did the running for parts needed so he didn't have to interrupt his labors. It took him the full 4 hours to do the job. I guess we were ruined by the electrician we hired using Angie's List in Las Vegas, because Danny would have gotten the job done in no more than an hour. In fact, when I had Steve Breyer give me a quote, it was less than half as well. If I hadn't already purchased the Big Deal and just got an estimate from these folks, I would not have used them. Nice guys, but way too slow; hence, too expensive for the work I wanted done. The difference in price for the job and cost of the Big Deal was for parts, since the deal is only for labor.

Rudy did an outstanding job. he is an excellent electrician with lots of experience. He worked quickly, kept his work areas clean and at the end of the job swept-up so that you would not know any holes were drilled and sawed. I highly recommend Dwelling Electric.

It was very good job. They were on time, very neat and very pleasant people. I highly recommend them. They were very professional, they were on time and they were very neat. In fact the house was after they left and before they arrived.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was very good. The electrician was on time, did great quality work and I had no issues.
