Hi! Usually when I sign up with Angie's list I can set up a service in one to two weeks. But they didn't have time until 5 to 6 weeks out. I had a tenant coming in Oct 25th and it wasn't going to work for me. I will ask in re: to my timing expectations prior to purchase. Not their fault, mine. Sheila

Scheduling was prompt and easy. Arrived on time, did all requested work expeditiously and with care for agreed upon cost. Excellent experience with high quality workmanship and helpful suggestions. Will definitely hire for future electrical projects.

.Jeff, the company's owner, showed up precisely on time and ready to work. He had a very pleasant and professional attitude. He was able to accomplish the three tasks efficiently (much quicker than it would have taken me to do these jobs). He had to use some of his own material (2 junction boxes, wiring for the ceiling fan) and didn't charge me extra. He even patched the hole that was created when he repositioned the switch/outlet combo. I had used the services of another electrical contractor a month earlier (to install 4 recessed lights in our living room) and was not thrilled with their performance, so I had not been looking forward to dealing with another electrician who would "nickel & dime" me to death with "extras", but Jeff dispelled all of my concerns and made this a most enjoyable experience. I highly recommend his company and will most definitely call him for any future electrical work.

Every task was accomplished quickly and professionally. While I purchased a coupon for two hours of electrical work, I actually ran out of tasks after about an hour and three-quarters. Very pleased with the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. He was great. I did have a waiting period. He was very thorough and a good troubleshooter. He had a lot of ideas. He seemed to be in my best interest on saving me money. He was a little bit late.

I could not have asked for better, more competent, polite, etc., etc., service. Five-Star.

The extra material charge is more than I would like to spend.

My experience was excellent. He showed up on time for the appointment. I told him what needs were and he explained what he could do. He did the job in a professional way. He was very clean and neat. He did excellent work.

I was upset that he didn't use that 4 minutes left to do the research for the panel. The outdoor lights can't be left on even though there is a solar light detector. The timer on the other one isn't working. Wasn't happy with the work as a result.

Outstanding in every way. The office was very flexible when we had to reschedule twice. The two electricians were very professional with helpful suggestions and accomplished more than we expected in the eight hours we purchased. We will definitely use them again when we have the need for electrical work.

They were great, they responded quickly but they were so busy that they just couldn't perform the work within my requested time frame.

They charged $1,000 in total because it was a big job. I didn't have all the parts needed and it was heavier than the bracing system allowed. I had a feeling that additional fees might be necessary because it was a big job.

lThe experience was flawless. We visited about the necessary repairs and then they were fixed . The issues werer relatively minor overall, but in dealing with electiricity I feel more comfortable having an expert make the repairs. The elctrician was knowledgeable, directed his attention to the tasks at hand, and made the repairs quickly. He went to Home Depot to get a few parts for other repairs, returned and completed the remaining repairs. It was well worth the money I spent to get the job done right, and get it done the first time. I will use Dwelling Electric again if I need additional electrical work and I would certainly recommend them to neighbors. I live at the edge of their service area and that was not a problem is reciving the service.

He couldn't come out for a month, and I need the job done quicker.

He was very good. We had him install some switches and he did a panel check. He was very thorough and very reasonable. The scheduling was very easy too.

Two electricians arrived (I forgot their names, unfortunately). Both were friendly and got right to work after explaining every process and my options. These guys were absolutely great in every respect. Both worked efficiently and quickly, both were friendly and good communicators. They kept me updated on timing estimates as projects were finished. And the quality of work looked excellent. They cleaned up after themselves, installed wall plates were properly (i.e., straight), they patched any drywall holes the made (and some holes that others had made). They were flexible about taking lunch (i.e. going off the clock) when my wife needed to run to pickup a replacement part from the hardware store. They quickly troubleshot a particularly hard to find intermittent problem. I can't be sure if it is fixed, since they just left and it was intermittent, but they certainly found some loose wiring that seems very likely to be the culprit. I couldn't be happier with the level of service. They got a B for punctuality because they showed up 15-30 minutes after the scheduled window; though I received a call well inside that window letting me know that they were going a little bit over on the prior job. Though not ideal, it is reasonable to expect, and they communicated promptly without me having to wonder where they were. They are extremely easy to get a hold of, proactive about calling with confirmations, etc. Note: although I do not think this is an issue to be reflected in the grading, they are a bit overbook due to the success of their Angie's List deal, so my appointment was scheduled roughly 3 weeks after I bought the coupon. None of my issues were emergencies so this was fine, but for an emergency it could be problematic. Basically, if your job can wait long enough to fit within their current availability, these are the guys to use.

Jeff and Rudy were really great during the whole process. I purchased a 6-hour coupon. When Rudy came originally, I explained to him what I wanted to have done. All of the smoke detectors and canned lighting trim were yellowed with age and looked terrible, and I also wanted various dimmers and timers throughout the house. It ended up being 41 canned lights being replaced (trim kit and bulb), 9 smoke detectors replaced, and I also wanted several dimmers and timers installed throughout the house. Rudy went over everything with me and even went to Home Depot with me to show me all the options and amounts I'd need for the different trim kits, timers, dimmers, etc... We made arrangements for all of the work to be done at a later date since all of the decision-making had taken quite a bit of time and work couldn't be completed that day. On the day of our appointment, Jeff and Rudy showed up right on time and got to work. They had to rent a 14 foot ladder to get to some of the lights. They were very professional, knowledgeable and competent. I am so happy with the huge difference that the updating has made. This was a little bit of an unusual job, I think, as it was very time consuming and tedious, and they were great about it. About a half hour after they left, I realized they didn't install one of the smoke detectors. I called their office and they couldn't have been nicer. Rudy was back at my house 20 minutes later to complete the job. Great customer service. Thank you so much for you help, Jeff and Rudy.

Dwelling Electric was very prompt on the scheduled day of service. The electrician, Rudy, gave me estimates on installing additional outside electrical outlets. He also gave me estimates on replacing and repairing sun sensors at my back door and on top of the roof. I also asked Rudy if he would troubleshoot the electrical problem I had with my front yard lights. Although there was not enough time to install additional outside outlets, Rudy did complete the electrical work on the sun sensor at the back door. He also replaced a major part on the roof top sun sensor. Rudy had just enough time left to find the problem and fix the front yard lights. I am very happy with the work that was completed. I will recommend Dwelling Electric to anyone I know who needs electrical work.

It turned out well and there were no problems. Scheduling was pretty easy. They sent two electricians and it took them a little over an hour. They know what they’re doing and I even got a consultation about future work.

Great job, very thorough, professional and prompt. I really appreciated his advice and have him scheduled next month for additional repairs.

They were terrific. Very friendly, efficient and low key. I will call them again for some more work I want done. My only complaint was how long it took to schedule them, (almost a month out) but once here, they did a great job. I would recommend Jeff and Dwelling Electric, for sure.

Rudy arrived at 9:00 and looked at what we wanted done. I had one idea of how the light fixtures would be hung because my ceiling for 2 of the fixtures were 18 feet high. Rudy patiently explained why that couldn't be done because it wouldn't meet CA code. After his explanation, he figured out a way to hang the fixtures to code without having to have an enormous ladder. He looked at the electrical box and said it was safe, which was a relief. He worked efficiently on the 3 fixtures and there was enough time to discuss some other electrical fixes I will have done in the near future. I felt that Rudy was a true professional and was giving me sound advice. I definitely will use Dwelling Electric again.
