Not the cookie cutter design the other contractors tried to force on us. He is talented and creative. A true artist. He can sit and take abstract ideas and capture them in a sketch. The project went off without a hitch. The construction management was detail oriented, precise and a great value. The record keeping was top notch. They prioritize communication with the client and have always responded to us in a timely manner, even well after the build was completed. As a baseline, they use more robust plumbing than industry standard. We are glad they went the extra mile in that area. The pool contracting business in San Diego is quite fluid. We heard a couple of horror stories from friends who were left high and dry mid-build because the contractors went bankrupt. Jon DeLay has years of experience and a great track record. He runs his business in such a way that I am confident he will be around for years to come. We couldn't be happier with the result. They built a beautiful, high quality pool that will last for years.
