Doug and his team did an awesome job on this project, which was resurfacing the driveway and install steps, a planter and a retaining wall. His pricing is very reasonable. He was responsive to our requests. His team was very helpful and friendly and listened to all our questions and instructions. The project was completed in a timely manner. Final project turned out great!

Amazing job! Del Mar Landscape provided us with a full service operation and they were professional from start to finish. They took our blank canvas yard and turned it into a wonderland. The butterflies and hummingbirds have a new hang out in Del Mar!

We hired Doug to build a wall to enclose our front yard and update the fence in our backyard. The project has gone on without any issues. All of our neighbors are very impressed with the work. His crew is friendly, helpful, and very professional. Doug comes by to monitor progress, check in with his team, and make sure we are pleased with the progress. We've even added additional work to the scope and intend to use him for more projects in the future.

We hired Del Mar Landscape based on reviews and a positive interview with Doug. We had high hopes that this project would go smoothly and with the professionalism that Doug promised. We should have known from the first day when the crew was supposed to start and no one showed up.... Doug only showed up on days when he wanted money. He never came on any other day to check on progress. Doug was not happy that we wanted stone on the patio pillars and BBQ island. He said we changed our mind, even though we had made it a point of letting him know this was what we wanted, when he kept wanting to do something else. The way our contract was written up, he didn’t account for the labour of doing the stone and blamed us. The bbq island counter was cracked and has gotten considerably worse in the last eight months since the project was finished. The flower bed/grass cement border was measured incorrectly and now we have an unfinished and conspicuously patched border. These are only a few of the things that have gone wrong and have led to our disappointment in hiring Del Mar Landscape.

Even though our project has not been completed, I wanted to express how impressed we have been with the quality of service through Del Mar Landscape. After 30 years, we completely reconfigured our front yard with a low maintenance/ water usage design. New lighting, porch tiles, and walkways were incorporated. Our backyard has new lighting, a fire pit, new pergolas, and a new walkway. The transformation has been amazing, and we continually receive compliments from our neighbors. This success is due to the dedication and talent from Doug and his team. No matter how busy Doug may be, he continually contacts us by phone or with in person visits to review the project and to provide updates. Any call to him is immediately answered. Doug is very relaxed and supportive in addressing changes/requests identified as the project moves forward. Most importantly, he has an excellent team of workers doing the job. They arrive early each day and diligently work to advance each stage of the project. They are highly personable and communicative as they work throughout each day. They ask for input to assure they are meeting our needs and will suggest ways to address design changes. In addition, they assure the area is clean and accessible before leaving for the day. As a result, I would highly recommend Del Mar Landscape for any future landscaping needs.

Doug Kepner and the crew came to our rescue. We wanted to cover our block wall with wood and update our flower beds, sprinklers and garden lights and we needed it done quickly. Mike, Steve and Max arrived to save the day. They transformed our block wall into a beautiful wooden wall with lights. It is just what we wanted. All of them are very professional and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them for any landscaping projects.

It went very well; Doug's crew arrived promptly, worked through the day, cleaned the area at the completion of each day, and kept us up to date on how things were progressing, or if there was issues we needed to be made aware of. The quality of hardscape work done by Ramon in particular, was excellent; he really knows his stuff! Good moral by crew which also speaks positively.
