The installer was fantastic. The fan was installed in the living room ceiling and was a very difficult location with no attic. However, the installer did not give-up and worked three hours to get it in. Definitely use this company again.

He arrived on time, and the work was high quality. Hanging the light over the pool table presented some challenges but all we're handled.

The work was just fine. He came, did the work and left.

He called me back the same day that I called him. We couldn't agree on a day or time cause he said he was busy and wasn't sure when he'd be available. I asked him to call me the next day at a certain time. He did and then came over within the next hour. That was good. He quickly evaluated my problem and fixed it. Very efficient. He was here and gone within 15 minutes...it really wasn't a difficult job....elementary electric....I didn't think it was worth $125. Therefore I'm not sure I'd use him again.

My power went out on a Sunday afternoon. I (a very warm, 8 months pregnant) searched Angie's list in a panic and the first name I found was D/C electric. I called, explained my situation and was told that he (Daniel, I believe) would be here within an hour. True to his word he was here 1 hour later. Luckily had had the part to fix the main breaker (it was a slightly used part, but he guaranteed it for a year). 1 hour after that, our air conditioner was up and running (along with all the other electricity). He was very friendly, professional and courteous. And I believe his rates were reasonable. (First time I've needed an electrician, so I'm just going on my gut on this part). I would highly recommend him at this point. Fingers crossed that we can finish the rest of the summer without any further A/C interruption!

As always he was friendly, prompt, and professional. and always done in extremely timly manner I will continue to use him as all his work for us since 1999 has been exceptio nal.

The electircity to my refrigerator was coming intermittently and there was no power to my office. I had contacted several licensed electricians in the immediate area but could never get anyone interested to do the work. Through Angie's List, I found DC Electric. On February 20, 2013, on schedule, Mr Cohen came to do the work. WIthin a few minutes, he was able to identify and fix the problem with the refrigerator. The office wall outlet took a little more time to fix. He was, however, able to complete both tasks within the 2-hour alloted time. Overall, I was very impressed and satisfied with Mr. Cohen's work. He maintained a professional demeanor. He was knowledgeable and logical in pinpointing the causes of the problems. Once he had identified the problems, his solutions were accurate.

Danny came out and provided an estimate, we scheduled the work and he came out to perform the work like clockwork. He is very easy to work with, is trustworthy, and provided a fair price for his work. The installation went very well - 8 electric landscape lights were installed and are on a timer. I appreciated him seeing the site prior to providing a quote and also found his work exceptionally precise. All wires are hidden and there was no trace that the lights were even installed (landscape in tact). They look beautiful and I'm very happy with his service.

Three were water proof fixtures 2 were not. Initial job went over the Angies List special price of 3 hr for 99.00 by another $85.00. Second visit was required since the three water proof lights were shorted out after maybe 1 or 2 uses. Electrician reported to me that the short was at one of the fixture boxes. I thought he should have noted that potential problem at the time of the installation of the fixture. Well maybe not. He fixed it and charged another $85.00. So today while painting in the area I noticed that the water proof fixture is installed improperly. I can see the wiring in the box from the side of the WATERPROOF light fixture. The wiring box, gasket and fixture are not tight.! Haven't closely inspected the other lights as they are overhead. Very disappointed!

Exceptional quality. Came on March 18 to view the project, did not have the correct tools (needed to saw through wood) and came next morning on-time. The work was in a kitchen island under new drawers. The junction box he installed scraped the bottom of the new drawer - I found out after he had gone. He came back shortly and fixed this slight problem. I was impressed especially when he said I made the problem and I must fix it. Performed the work well and most importantly, up to code! Courteous, clean, efficient, responsible and very professional! I highly recommend and will definitely use for any electrical work that I may have in the future!Whe

Daniel came at the appointed time and gave both good advice and service. And he did everything quickly. I was amazed at how much he was able to accomplish in two hours. He was able to identify and fix some faulty wiring, replace and rewire an electric box (short feed from another box), and properly connect multiple outlets, GFIs, and a switch (which didn't all work after the work of a previous contractor). He also fixed another outlet so that it fit into the box completely. I would definitely call on him again.

House had an unexplained power outage to some circuits. Repairman quickly identified it was a faulty circuit breaker that hadn't tripped but was just broken. Repairman swapped the 15A circuit breaker without issue. Service was quick and satisfactory. - Only issue I had was the appointment time was scheduled at 8:00AM. The repairman calls me at 7:58 to ask for directions because apparently he wrote down the wrong address and what he wrote down didn't show up in his electronic directions. That is unprofessional to me. He should have checked that earlier and confirmed the address. I understand traffic delays making someone late. But not having checked the address until just a few minutes prior to the appointment is unprofessional. He arrived closer to 8:30

They scheduled the appointment within a few days after purchasing deal from Angies list . He came right on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. He asked what was needed and I showed him. I really was only expecting to get the 3 light switches fixed within the 2 hours. Next thing I knew he was done with the 3 bedroom light switches and had them working. So after that I had him go around and replace a few outlets that I hadn't done yet. He also fixed a 3 way light switch that he knew right away was not hooked up correctly. Overall I would definitely recommend this company and will use them for any future electrical services.

Daniel arrived promptly and worked quickly and very neatly. He completed our electrical to-do list in record time! I would definitely use Daniel again and highly recommend his services.

We were very pleased with Mr. Cohen's knowledge and skills. He came prepared with all the tools he needed for the jobs we had described. He did an effective analysis of the existing circuitry and determined where to install a new electric outlet that would serve the freezer we had recently purchased. His workmanship was clean and accurate, and he performed the tasks according to code. He worked quickly, but carefully. We plan to have him come again in the future to add a new electric outlet in another room in the house, so we can plug in our treadmill on a circuit that would not be overloaded by other appliances presently using that circuit.

What was found was there had been a fire behind an outlet in her bedroom. The fire furned the wires causing the outage. Fortunately the fire burned out quicly and cause no damage to the wall. The reason i gave him a B for Responsiveness and Professionalism is because once we purchase the coupon i had difficulty getting in touch with him, availability was within the week luckily, However when i confirmed date and time, address in email I never got a response. I had to call the tenants to find out that he even showed up. I couldn't give him an A when i utilized an another coupon and he had better costomer service and gave him an A.

I have a coupon. It was $99 for two hours. There was a problem with him, because I told him that we've got another fan with the same dimensions, so it would be easy to install. The only difference was that this one had a night light as part of the fixture. So when he came I told him that I need to replace this fan, because it didn't work. He looked at it and said it's a little different, but he could do it. He finished it - pretty quick. And I asked about the night light part and he said you just need to put a bulb in and then it will work. The main light and the fan worked beautifully. But the I had forgotten that I paid online already for the things and then I gave him a cheque. The next day I realized that I already paid for this. Then I called him and told him that I shouldn't have paid him, because I assumed he was going to get paid by Angies List. I had already put it on a credit card. So he said that was fine, he would issue a new cheque to me, because he was new and didn't know how that part worked either. A week later I got my money back. Then I went to the store and we got a bulb and put it in. It went on, but it didn't work as a night light. It only worked when we turn the main light on. I actually couldn't see it was working, because of the bright light of the main light. And then I called him and I said the night light isn't working. He said that he wired it - maybe he could stop by. He would check his schedule and call me back. That was the Monday and on the Friday he called me back and left a message that he could come that day. But I wasn't home, so I called him back that following Monday. Meanwhile I called the manufacturer to see what we should do about the night light. He said you have to have a separate switch for the night light to work. So we check it again, and saw that the night light went on, but only if you switch on the main light. So I called him on Monday to schedule. I told him about the situation. He said it was going on. And I said yes, but I want to use the night light, so I told him about the separate switch that I needed. And he said that I didn't told him that. So he said that he can't read my mind! But that is why we hired an electrician. He told me that it would be a lot of work to do that. He said that I told him to replace the light and the fan and that is what he did. By that point I didn't want to do anything with him. I thought he was rude. The work that he did was good, but I just felt that he didn't complete the work.

Danny arrived on time and installed a whole house fan. His work was very neat and he was friendly and courteous. I found his price to be very reasonable. He cleaned up thoroughly after he was done.

He really knows how to troubleshoot all electrical. In the past, we'd had a problem where another resident tapped into our rental's electrical system which he helped to solve.

He is very good and trouble shooting. He has done work for me in the past. He is very knowledgeable.
