Description of Work: Andrew and his team removed our existing tub and linoleum floor, took down a partial wall, rerouted a switch, then installed a new tub, tiled the surround and the bathroom floor. They did a great job and completed the project in a timely fashion. Since it took less time than expected, they also tiled our kitchen floor which we were in the process of remodeling.

Description of Work: Nice guy. Seemed really knowlegable. Set up time for appointment and showed up on time. Told us he would email estimate to do work in 3 days. After 5 days and no estimate, I called and left message indicating that I have not received his estimate. No return call. Several day later my wife called and left a message asking when we could expect an estimate -- asked him to call us back and let us know. It is now over two weeks later and we have not heard from him by telephone or email. He said he was really busy, but a phone call telling us that he was not interested in the job would have been really nice. The job was not a small job -- new flooring in kitchen, eating area and bathroom and re-tile shower. I hear his work is great, but I will never know.

No call or response from Andrew.
Description of Work: I had called Andrew to give me an estimate for a bathroom remodel. We had made an appt. time and he called the appt. day and said that it would be better for him if we moved the appt. to the next day. The next day came and he never showed up and didnt call. I called him the next day and left a msg. on his cell phone, he never responded to my call. Its been my experience, when companies get at the top of angies list, they get alot of potential customers calling and projects going and the service tends to go downhill.

We liked him a lot. We did not use him because he was not available when we needed him. We will consider using him in the future.

Our experience with Covenant Creations was positive from start to finish. We had shopped around at a few showroom-type businesses before calling Andrew. We were impressed with the detail/thoroughness of his estimate for the work we wanted done and found his pricing to be very competitive. He provided recommendations on where to go for tile and other materials required for the renovation; we went and picked stuff out and then he purchased everything that was needed, so it was easy. All the work was completed on time and on budget. Andrew is very easy to work with and was able to deal with any surprises that came up (such as a broken water shut-off valve). I have a small child at home and he was incredibly conscientious of closing baby gates, and went above-and-beyond by making a point of trying to schedule the more noisy work around her nap schedule. When we had some trouble with the tile shifting after it was laid, he immediately came back and fixed it. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work and is even able to help with design ideas. We would highly recommend Andrew for any work you need done.

The experience with Andrew was professional and very smooth. Andrew provided a fair price quote to remodel my small craftsman bathroom. I explained that I wanted to maintain the look and feel of the 1920s, and he was able to offer suggestions that met this request. Throughout the process, I was able to consult with Andrew regarding my design ideas, and he was very accommodating to changes. He also offered some of his own design suggestions, which I really appreciated. He kept me informed throughout the remodel process and completed the job on time. I absolutely love how the bathroom turned out. It was a painless process --- and maybe even a little fun! Who knew you could say that about remodeling?! I would highly recommend him for his high quality work and professionalism.

We're remodeling our bathroom and needed someone to pour the shower pan. Andrew from Covenent Creations gave us a great estimate, showed up on-time and did a great job. We are planning to use him again when it's time to tile and hang the shower door.

I chose them because their website showed they did quality work. When the owner came to the house he seemed knowledgeable about the work he wanted to do and the quality of work that would be performed.
Description of Work: They re-tiled the shower and bathroom floor. They tore out the old bathtub and put in a shower.

Prompt return on calls, easy to talk to whether texting or calling. Dealt fairly with his employees, and the result came out great! He was able to get us in within the week, and finish the job on time. He even came in on Sunday to finish some miscellaneous work and was able to deal with our old contractor without any problems. Saved us a big headache!
Description of Work: We had a different contractor mess up the tile work in our bathroom. After calling a handful of other tile/bathroom contractors, we decided on using Andrew. He retiled the entire bathroom, and installed different fixtures. Most impressive were the good looking cuts on the tile, and bringing the whole room back together in our small business.

Andrew demolished the tub, tiles, waste line, etc and found the source of the obstruction. He then installed a new tub, pipes, shower valve, tiles, etc. and the bathroom looks great. I didn't want to over spend on tile, so he used neutral tiles along with five designer tiles that he placed in a design motif to give it a little flare. Since there was only one bathroom, time was of the essence and he was able to complete the entire job in 3 days.
Description of Work: I had an obstruction in the bathtub drain and the only way to get access to it was to remove the bathtub.

The whole project went smoothly and he encouraged me to be involved in selecting the materials used. The main bath marble work is truly a "work of art". He really took the time to hand select the marble tiles that blended best together. When working with natural stone it is very important to have someone that does this, since there can be a lot of variations between different "lots" of the same tile color. Also on the bamboo flooring he really took the time to make sure that the flooring would go well with the new cabinets and then was meticulous in making all the required cuts for the wood floors. The fence was another big project. It was surrounded by heavy vegetation and instead of cutting the vegetation all out to put the fence in, he cut the old fence out of the vegetation and tried to save as much as possible for privacy and aesthetic purposes. There are so many other little things that he had to do and he dealt with them quickly and efficiently. He kept on his "time table" and showed up every day as scheduled and worked the entire day. He was also very good about cleaning up the work areas at the end of each day and continuing to make the house "livable" while the remodeling was going on. I just can't say enough good things about the work Andy did:) I was so happy with his work that I also had him do remodeling work on two investment properties as well. He truly is a "gem" in the world of contractors. He takes pride in his work and is very sensitive to his clients needs. I worked in the property management field for years and have dealt with a lot of contractors and Andy is by far the best contractor I've ever worked with.
Description of Work: Andy was a great contractor to work with:) He remodeled two bathrooms, kitchen, replaced fencing, installed electrical outdoor patio heaters, exterior painting and so much more In the one bathroom he replaced all the existing tile work and added some more, all in marble. He also installed new lighting fixtures, granite countertop, installed a new cast iron tub, faucets, vanity and accessories. In the other bathroom he installed a new granite countertop and vanity, faucets and lighting fixtures. In the kitchen and dining area he custom made new cabinet doors, countertop, faucet, electric cooktop and new chimney venting hood. In the kitchen and dining area he installed new solid bamboo flooring. He replaced a long fence on the back of the property.

They have a good price. It takes a little bit longer because he does the work himself. No sub contracting. He is also adding a shower. New drain line from kitchen to the sewer line. And then retiling the floor. He is very professional. Keeps his area as clean as possible.

Both jobs were done with excellent craftsmanship. He was on time, kept his work area clean and did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again. I agree 100% with his other reviews.
Description of Work: The work included laying new wood floor over the original wood floor which was weakened due to previous water damage, laying vinyl tile squares, putting a new border around the bathroom and re-attaching the toilet. He also patched a 12 X 18 hole in my living room ceiling.

Very pleased with results. Basically, we have a new bathroom that is exactly what we wanted. We started with an extremely outdated decor. From inception to completion, we were pleased with the level of attention to detail.

Andrew's work was of the very best quality. The outside stucco and inside texturing are perfectly seamless with the old material. It is impossible to see where the work has been done. The job was completed in a timely manner. At the conclusion of each day, Andrew cleaned the work area so that it was even cleaner and neater than when he arrived. And, both my wife and I found Andrew to be exceedingly polite and accommodating. He was very patient and helpful in giving advice when we asked him for suggestions about the project. We will most certainly hire him again for future work on our home.
Description of Work: Andrew McLain removed a bathroom door and filled in the space to create a continuous wall. The work included the removal of the door (and hauling it away) and filling in the space with insulation, dry wall, and stucco. New texturing was applied, both inside and out. A coat of primer was applied to the entire job. Additionally, tiles were cut and applied inside the bathroom to replace and fill in spots around the old door moulding.

From the beginning, Andrew was willing to work with me. I only had ideas of what I wanted done and through talking with him worked out a plan. I wanted the addition to show on my tax records, so I could sell the house for more in the future, this required permits. The city requires plans to be submitted, and Andrew drew the plans himself saving me a lot of money. Throughout the entire project, his hard work and effort showed. As a single mother of two, I was worried, that a contractor would take advantage of me. Andrew discussed with me each aspect through the duration of the project. The completed apartment turned out beautifully. I am thrilled to have found a person whose quality of work is matched only by the integrity with which he provides that work. I would not hesitate to refer you to friends or family members in the future. I immediately was able to rent the apartment and it hasn't been vacant since.
Description of Work: I had an extra room above my garage, with little more than a few outlets. The room was almost 700 sq ft in size with vaulted ceilings and I wanted to turn it into an apartment. I didn't have a lot of money to spare, but Andrew worked with me and came up with a design to fit my budget. First, he took a portion of the room and added bathroom with shower and tub. Then a small kitchen was added with a range, sink, cabinets, space for the refrigerator and even a small dining area. The rest of the apartment was carpeted and built-in closets were installed. In order to complete the apartment, he added it's own heating and air-conditioning. Also, because the room was on the second floor a staircase needed to be added. The space in my yard was limited and I didn't want the appearance of a single family home to change. So Andrew added a nice spiral staircase, to give access to the apartment and you hardly notice it.
