+ -1 moreI highly recommend this firm. The overall experience with Commercial and Residential Electric for over eight years has been excellent. This recent job was no different. Erik Bromberg, the owner of the firm, rewired much of our home (built in 1893) when we purchased it. This work included bringing up to code unsafe wiring that had been done by the previous owner of the house. Over the years, he has proved especially adept at mounting ceiling and wall fixtures that we have purchased from second-hand and antique stores. He has also been both patient and adept at matching switch types and colors as requested, installing circuits with multiple on/off locations, and other custom requests. He has typically been willing to schedule small jobs on short notice.
Description of Work: The electrician hung two large spherical globe light fixtures from the ceiling in our parlors. The work required some modification to ceiling mounts as the area had originally been used for gas lights in our Victorian house. He also installed a new mount for a kitchen fixture and installed a fixture we purchased from a second-hand dealer.

+ -1 moreEric was on schedule the 2 times he came to my house. He performed the job well and was very polite. I think his price was reasonable considering some other bids I got from 2 other contractors.
Description of Work: Set up 220 plug for dryer and extra outlet for bedroom. Removed metal wire in main panel and set up new breaker for disposal and dishwasher.
