Prices were extremely high, service in store was mediocre.

They did an absolutely marvelous job! There was a difficulty with the preparation of the floor and we were kind of disappointed at how they had done that. But when we called that to their attention, they made good on it and prepared the floor just perfectly. Now I have absolutely beautiful flooring in my house. We look forward to having them do the upstairs floor. There was one customer service person that not very helpful but everybody else was very helpful. The salesman was incredibly patient.

They show you the flooring and never get back to you. The 1st salesman left some samples and then said I should tell you I am going on vacation. He never called back. I went back only on a referral from a friend. Again, the other sales woman spoke with me, said she should come over to give her professional opinion and never phoned.

The Coles Fine Flooring team helped my husband and I choose the type of flooring we wanted for our kitchen and den. We brought home several samples and kept them in our living room for a few days. Once we determined what we were buying, the whole process was seamless and easy. Within a week they were installing the floor. What really impressed me was the time they took to prep the room and lay down the flooring. We had a huge wall unit that had to be dismantled and moved out of the way before they could even begin. Also, the pattern we chose had three different colors of wood. So they had to be careful where they placed each strip so we wouldn't have areas where it was too light or too dark. It needed to all blend together. In the end, they did a phenomenal job! I can't say enough good things about their work. Their attention to detail was incredible. They were polite and pleasant to be around. They asked me my opinion about certain things throughout the process and I really felt a part of the whole experience. I highly recommend Coles Fine Flooring.

Asher was very personal, very service oriented. The team they sent was very efficient, came on tme, and the results were quite professional. The job was well planned so that Seaming was done in the right spots, and it is invisable. The ramps to tiled areas are so well done they are un-noticable. They cleaned up very thoroughly. They moved furniture very carefully.

We purchased our new carpeting from COLE?s Fine Flooring at 1170 W Morena BLVD, San Diego. Mr. Frank Ashton, Designer was very helpful in assisting our selection. We were very pleased with Coles customer service, quality and price of both the padding and carpeting, and installation. Rico and his father Ivan, in house Coles carpet installers, arrived on time as scheduled. They performed beautifully as they carefully moved furniture, removed old dining and living room carpeting, prepared the floor for new padding, and installed new wall to wall carpeting. Their carpet work was done in a highly professional manner , including vacuum cleaning, and relocating all our furniture to their original positions. We were very pleased with our new carpeting.

Maryann Canada . was the saleslady who helped me. She is amazing! I had been to numerous other tile/flooring stores, but she was the one who really wanted to help and she did. I was getting ready to tear out all the existing tile and replace it with all new tile. It would have cost me thousands which, after the remodel, I didn't have. When I first met her at the store, I had a piece of the existing tile to show her so she knew what it looked like. She sent me home with a few samples, but they weren't really what I wanted. We talked on the phone and hearing my desperation, she offered to come to my home to see everything for herself. She came and said, "Don't tear out your existing tile, it's fine!" Although my existing tile looked whitish grey, it actually had a "greenish" tint, too, so was difficult to match. When she came to my home, she brought a couple of samples. One didn't work at all and the other was perfect. She said she'd draw something to include in the entry way tile to make it special. She never pressured me, but made me feel like she really cared. I know she will always be there to answer any questions I have. Since I'm doing the tile job myself, I've already asked her a few things and she's been right there to help. I am so grateful that Maryann was there and willing to help me out of this situation that I needed to have resolved. If you need tile, go to Maryann at Coles....you'll be happy you did!!!

I replaced soild, white carpeting with a top-of-the-line ultra life Stainmaster in a golden spice hue for a small second bedroom. To complete the transformation, I opted for a rich cabernet and gold patterned Roman shade. The work, from initial estimate to installation, was fast and efficient. Moreover, the selection of carpeting and window treatments is probably is extensive as you'll find. Design consultant Kat Durant's expertise in window treatments and her similar taste in decor proved a good fit. And Butch's impeccable skills as an installer were much appreciated..

I did not like the way they did the seams.

The installers of Cole's was awesome. Mario and Joe did an excellent job with installation. They went beyond the call of duty. I was very happy with my overall experience.

They are competitively priced, and in a few instances are a bit higher than the competition. However, the sales sand service staff at Coles is really knowledgeable and helpful.. They been around for 60 years, are local. I've used them several times in the past, and plan to use them again in the not too far future.

It was very difficult to get cost estimates from Coles. They sent a person to my house to measure it, and that was done professionally and on time. However, I had a lot of difficulty getting the sales representative (Linda) to get me an estimate. She did not follow up after the measurements were taken, I had to call her several weeks later. I eventually got an estimate for the carpet after several calls and emails. But I still do not have an estimate for the engineered hardwood and it's been over a month. Also, I needed a carpet sample. Although she promised to send one, it was never sent. Eventually I gave up on Coles and used another company.

They did a great job, just as promised. On time and as planned.

Needed carpet for high traffic areas in a large house. Bethany helped us choose a carpet to match our needs and color scheme. She was able to explain the differences and pros v. cons of carpet materials, cuts and twists. Cole's had a wide selection of colors and different grades of padding to choose from. I also had a narrow window in which to have the carpet installed among other renovation work being scheduled in a short timeframe, which was achieved with no effort on my part. The price was a little steeper than I wanted to pay, but the service from both the store and the installers was excellent!! The carpet and pad is warranteed for 20 years as long as I have it professionally cleaned once a year... Only time will tell if the price matches the quality, but so far my family and guests have all been immensely satisfied with its looks and feel. Definitely a HUGE step above anything you can get at Home Depot!

Jesse was the best. We spent probably $2000 for the hardwood flooring. They aren?t cheap. It isn?t like I disliked it because the work was excellent. I can?t say that there was any dissatisfaction. They were very good. The actual purchase of the hardwood itself was right and I thought that we got a good price. The staff was absolutely super. Their punctuality was also super and they were just right on. They have been in business here a long time. I really don?t have anything bad to say about them. It is an excellent place to buy the carpets. Their price was pretty competitive for their product with everybody else. Their labor runs little higher, but they were very good. I would use their services in the future too and there are no questions about it. I wouldn?t even look anywhere else.

I was not very happy with them. They have stores everywhere. So, I had them come out and install the tiles in the kitchen. They did not do the work correctly. So, they had to tear it apart and install another set of tiles. Yet the work was not done correctly. I was waiting for a response from them. The last time they installed the second set of tiles was three months ago. They called me again only a month ago. I was very mad. So, I started looking for a different contractor for the bathroom remodel. They did call me again two weeks ago. They are going to tear it apart again and reinstall it. However, I have not heard from them since. It is a nightmare. I have spent $3000 on the job. My experience with them was okay. They tried to do their best. They did try very hard, but it was the way they did it. I think the problem was with the installer. I will decide if I will use them again after they reinstall the tiles.

I stopped by their store and looked at hardwood samples with an employee. We talked for about an hour and she took a copy of my floor plan to provide me a quote. She said she would work on it so I gave her my phone number, but she never did call back. She did a quick verbal estimate for me on site, but did not write an itemized quote. I would not be that enthusiastic about recommending them. I probably won't use them in the future because we have so many other choices in town.

The specific job today was to repair a small gap in the real wood flooring in the entry area of the master bedroom. Jesse called about 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled time to make sure someone was home. He arrived on time with Carlos, his long-time assistant. They got right to work, once they saw the area. The job took about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and then it was done. All that was left was for us to remove the tape later in the afternoon. No fuss, no muss, no charge. Top notch flooring specialists.

We did not use them because we found a cheaper comparison through a different contractor. My initial consultation when they came out to do the estimate, they were very professional, but a little bit pricey. They do fine work, but with my budget I could not use them. The estimate came in fine and again depending what the budget is for the kind of work you are doing. When they came out, they were prompt and I have no complaints. I would hire them if I could afford them.

We worked with Ron Collins at MCAS Miramar branch of Coles Carpet. We were installing hardwood flooring in an upstairs hallway and carpet throughtout the house. Ron was very helpful as we selected carpet and hard wood flooring. However, before the installation could begin, we discovered cracks in our slab foundation. Ron worked with us in postponing the installation until the slab repair was complete. Ron arranged to install the upstairs carpet separately, since the downstairs was not ready and so we would not have to move all the house furniture at once. When the slab work was finished Ron arranged for the installation of the downstairs carpet The hardwood installers and the carpet installers were very professional, cooperative, and in good humor at all times. We removed the small furniture items and all 'knick-knacks' and the installers moved all the heavy furniture. We were very pleased with the entire process and would recommend The MCAS Miramar Coles Carpet for quality product and installation

The job turned out great in the end. It took a long time to paint the floor boards, put the closets back in, and hook the washer back up. They also did not have the modern floor boards I was looking for.

Everything went great. I had requested that they cut the carpet before they came but due to some communication issues, they arrived with it uncut and this delayed the process for two days because of rain.

The process was painful. There was alot of confusion. The wrong tiles were ordered changing the starting dates. The specialty tile arrived different than what we ordered. Tile was cut in the garage with house doors open so that the entire house filled with tile dust. We knew that Coles was going to be expensive, but we decided it would be worth it. Now that the work is done we are happy with parts, and unhappy with others. The entryway turned out as we hoped. I guess renovating is always painful no matter who you go with.
