+ -1 moreTyler did a good job figuring out the leak source was the propane gas canister itself. The thing is that he was instructed to ask for additional $50 that we were not told about it at the time we booked the task with the dispatcher. The dispatcher knew that we have a $100 credit with Angies List and did not tell us it might cost more. For their credit Colepepper honored the credit extended without further problems. Yes would hire again!
Description of Work: Had a portable patio fire pit gas leak at the connection with the propane canister. Tyler was able to determine that the issue was with the tank itself and not the valve.

They came and diagnosed the problem, but we chose not to have the repairs done since I realized our home warranty would cover it. However, we did need to have something else done and they applied the $39 paid for the deal to that service. Everyone I dealt with at Colepepper Plumbing was very professional and friendly, easy to do business with. Thanks!

Description of Work: I had a problem with Low water pressure, that came on suddenly. Miguel from Colepepper came out and knew immediately what the problem was and fixed the problem. I thought it was a problem with the pressure regulator but it was not it was the main valve coming into the house, the house is 35 years old and was worn out, he solved the problem but it was expensive. He also installed a new faucet in the kitchen sink. I thought it was a bit pricey over $800.00 but the problems were solved and Miguel did a good job and cleaned up after himself.

However, I was taken back by the cost estimate for the shut off valves, but proceeded with the work since the plumber was already here. After the fact, I found that I could have had the work done for about 30% less by another reputable company. Lesson learned - get quotes before getting the work done!

Did receive an estimate to special order a new fill valve for $ 569. No thank you. I can purchase a new toilet installed for far less than $ 569. The ad on Angie's list is a total scam. Bait and switch.

+ -1 moreWell seeing how it was a job that should have taken only 45 minutes, max one hour, (U-tube) he wrote me an estimate for $389. So minus my $200 credit he wanted an additional $189. What a joke. It's a scam from these guys. I called another plumber right after that and they told me $150-$175 depending on what they found. I even had the seal for the Cole pepper plumbing.

He offered further parts replaced at $150/hr. After about 20min he'd completed task. No compensation given for time and/or my having required parts. Total: approx $270 Disappointed further when "running" continued. I contacted Tyler& was told that because I had supplied parts no guarantee was possible. I suggested that perhaps installation should be checked-he refused. End results: toilet still runs

I had the other company install the water heater. the plumbing inspection wasn't as complete or thorough as the Big deal promised.

+ -1 moreWe could have bought a new toilet and had installed for less than we paid. We will not call Colepper again, and are not likely to trust another Angie’s deal either.
Description of Work: Bought toilet repair “deal” for a leaking toilet. We did not expect a well reviewed company on Angie’s would overcharge but feel that Colepepper gouged us. There was no mention of extra cost for holiday Friday after Thanksgiving. First estimate was $289, for Basic toilet repair, including new wax ring. Price went up to $1089 after the toilet was removed and it was apparent flange needed replacing bec. It was wrong size, hence the leaks. At first he thought would leave a gap in the tile. We declined the $400 repair on that, deciding to do that ourselves. We were charged an hour for him to go buy supplies he did not have on truck. Only since we had already paid part of cost and toilet was off did we have the job done. Maybe should have said no and called another plumber. I can’t fault the technician, Alex. He was polite, thoroughly explaining things. He worked hard and I think he did a good job.

Description of Work: Remove corrosion on a pipe near soft water tank. Fix leak from outdoor spicket. Fix toilet that when flushed the water ran too long. Unclog bathroom sink, and fix bathtub nozzle (not getting hot water and water turned off when turned right and left).

Description of Work: I took advantage of the toilets tuneup special on Angie’s list. I simply LOVE Colepepper Services. This company is EXCELLENT!! This was my second time using Colepepper services after checking Angie’s list for special discounts. I have 3 bathrooms, all of which needed servicing. When I called Colepepper, I asked for Miguel Ramirez because I was very satisfied with work he performed on an exterior faucet and an interior drain on a prior occasion a couple months before. Just like the first time, he was prompt, polite and very professionally competent. In fact, he assessed and took care of a potentially serious problem in one of the bathrooms that had it not have been corrected, would have cost me several thousand dollars to fix.
