I went to Classic based on their listing in Angies List and after having a bad experience trying to deal with Coles. The Coles salesman didn't seem to know anything about wood floors. Classic, however, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I needed to match the existing and new floors and they worked with me to get the best match possible. The crews were very professional, came on time and took obvious pride in their work. Floors look great. I chose a high end wood, and there was considerable demo of existing floors involved, so it was a costly job. Otherwise I think Classic prices are probably competitive.

We acted as the general contractor for our kitchen remodel so it was very important to us that the businesses that we selected committed to a schedule and adhered to it. Classic Hardwood Floors did that. They started when we needed them and completed the job in a timely manner. There show room is great and Classic Hardwood Floors proved to be very helpful in educating us regarding the many choices of hardwood flooring and installation options. Buddy Davenport and his team headed by Richard Margargal were incredibly knowledgeable concerning all aspects of floor preparation and installation. After removing the old flooring Richard recommended that we level the sub floor to preclude door and threshold adjustments that otherwise would have been necessary. This was a change order but Classic Hardwood Floors provided the service at a very reasonable cost and saved us headaches and other costs. There finished product is flawless

I had to replace flooring after a pipe leak caused water damage to my existing hardwood floors. All of the existing hardwood flooring had to be removed/replaced because new flooring could not be properly matched. After a lot of shopping around and checking reviews/references, I selected Classic Hardwood Floors to remove the damaged hardwood flooring, remove carpeting/padding, prep the concrete slab, and install new hardwood flooring throughout my home. Gregg at Classic assisted me every step of the way, advising on flooring selection, educating me about hardwood flooring, and exhibiting a lot of patience with my lengthy flooring selection process and ongoing questions/concerns. The installers were professional and friendly. While any construction/remodeling job is messy and inconvenient, the installers tried hard to make it as painless as possible. They also did a much better job on end-of-job clean-up than some of the other contractors who have worked in my home. The floors are absolutely beautiful and are the subject of compliments by everyone who comes to my home. As for pricing, Classic was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. I felt the pricing was fair for the quality of product, installation and service, and the fact that Classic stands behind their work. I highly recommend Classic Hardwood Floors.

When Larry came out to estimate refinishing the entire house. Due to the extreme wear in the kitchen, he said that the entire first floor would need to be sanded and refinished. The stairs would have to be sanded/refinished by hand as they are too narrow to be machine sanded. The upstairs could be screened and finished. After we got the original estimates, we decided to replace the kitchen floor with tile as the cost was about the same. Once the workman came by, he was able to look at the damage on the stairs and said that he could match the stain on the wood without having to sand and replace the treads. (To be fair, none of the other estimators gave any indication that they could do this either.) He was able to match the stain very well - I can't tell the difference between the two areas on each step. This saved about $800 in labor and materials over the original estimate. In addition to the screen and recoat and the stair work, they needed to replace about 6 boards of the floor where a potted plant had leaked water and stained the floor. Overall it was an excellent job and I look forward to having them come back in a few years to rescreen the floor (a 75 pound dog can leave marks on a wood floor...)

I HAVE A SMALL OFFICE AND THEY MADE IT FEEL VERY WARM. THIS COMPANY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I ALSO LOVED THE PRICE. I WILL CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR ANY KIND OF HARDWOOD NEEDS.

CLASSIC FLOORS REALLY HELPED ME PICK OUT THE DESIGN THAT I WANTED IN MY NEW OFFICE. THEY WERE GREAT WITH THE OVERALL SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED. VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY.
