Marshall was great. He explained the job in detail, gave me a very fair price. He repaired the problem and explained how his repair would permanently solve the problem. I couldn't be happier with the work or his great attitude.

Marshall was GREAT, as was his front office staff. This is one of those family owned and run businesses that have "old world" values; providing outstanding service at reasonable prices. Marshall is what I call a "thinking man's" plumber. He was very helpful in diagnosing the problem, and gave concrete suggestions for what might be done to solve the problem. His honesty saved me from spending $500 or more on services that were not necessary. The services he did provide were completed quickly and efficiently. I observed the whole operation with amazement, since I had been very concerned about the cause of the blockage. He is a kind gentleman and we enjoy his conversation when we call for his assistance.

Amazingly well. Marshall immediately diagnosed all three problems and fixed them lickety-split. He explained what was wrong and clearly fixed all three. He is so nice, helpful, etc. Also, the lady on the phone who made the appointment was very nice, too. What a great company!

Marshall came within about ten minutes of our phone call. I think he was finishing up for the day. He was very nice, worked very efficiently. He reattached the toilet to the floor and provided some parts that we were missing to make it stay in place. He allowed my husband to watch and answer questions about what he was doing. He gave us free advice on a clogged drain. It was fast, fair and friendly, and we would trust him to do future jobs for us. We've had a lot of plumbers in our home and Marshall is the one we will return to!

Great. Marshall tried different options until he fixed it. Very pleasant and efficient.

We called Marshall, the owner of Clairemont Plumbing, the day after Thanksgiving and arranged an appointment that day. He arrived as scheduled, quickly analyzed the problem. After cutting a small opening in the drywall, offered two options, cut out the copper leaking area of the pipe and rejoin the line, or do it properly by removing the 50 year old copper piping, and replace with new PVC. I decided on the second method. This was not an easy fix, since Marshal had to not only remove the copper pipe, but he had to carefully use his electric saw to remove the threaded brass piece attached to the remaining copper pipe that was still connected to the main cast iron drain line. Needless to say, I was very concerned that the cast iron threads might get damaged as I watched him surgically remove the brass piece. He made no mention of the details, but as I watched, I figured out what he was doing, as I silently prayed all would be ok. Success!! The brass threaded piece was removed, and the drain thoroughly cleaned, re-piping accomplished. AMEN. Marshall is Great!! He's my Plumber, and has been fo many years.

He is always prompt at coming and always communicates with us on our appointment and always comes out that day. He is a real friendly guy. He is very reasonably priced. We have used him for years on many different services and find him to be the best at his work.

Very easy experience, they stopped by and told me what was necessary to fix with quote. Same day from call to work completed. So easy to work with great communication. I called another Angies list plumber so happy I went with Clairemont Plumbing.

Cleaning Pipe was performed with no problems, and water flow was resumed. Considering the time and it was a Friday, Marshal saved the day.

Marshal came, identified the problem very professionally, cleared the clogged drain. He is a good Catholic, serving his church by volunteering to cook at church fish frys, so he can be trusted to be fair to his many customers. Marshal has performed many more complicated plumbing jobs for our family, and each time with superb professionalism. As a added plus, he is kind and friendly, making his visits a pleasure. I called for service on a Tuesday, but the schedule was full. On Wednesday morning the plumber arrived as promised. He checked the problem, fix the leak and answered all my questions.

They were very nice, but they had mis placed my number and the guy had just went in for surgery. There was a gap between our phone conversation, but they were nice. They were the cheapest and knew what they were talking about.

Everything went very smoothly. We have called on Clairemont Plumbing for many years, in this house in La Jolla and in our previous Pacific Beach home. They are extremely professional, honest and knowledgeable. I hope he doesn't retire too soon!

We like this company because they show up when they say they will and they don't dawdle. We felt like we got a good deal because he fixed the leak, replaced a part and tested it before he left to make sure everything worked. He was here for almost 2 hours and charged us a great price.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY IS THAT I NEEDED A NEW WATER HEATER QUICK, AND THEY DID NOT HESITATE TO SEND ONE OF THERE EMPLOYEES OUT TO PERFORM THE WORK.
