They ordered the wrong tile, and instead of rectifying it and getting me the tile in time to avoid another of many huge delays in my project, they made me pay for their mistake. They made no effort whatsoever to salvage my project. Furthermore, the manager was rude, smug and dismissive. This company should be avoided. They make mistake, but you pay for them.

+ 0 moreThe salesmen were friendly and helped with tile selection. The estimator was helpful and made constructive suggestions during his on-site visit to measure the work. There was some miscommunication between the store and the installers about the installation date, but once they were on-site they were very professional and competent. The shower setting presented some issues that they handled very well. The work looks great and everyone was satisfied. Only one aspect of the experience could have been better: the estimator should have provided a detailed written estimate. The estimate provided was done on the back of a business card. In general, this was a good experience and a job well done.
Description of Work: Purchase and installation of porcelain tile for a master bath floor, shower and tub surround. Preparation was done ahead of time by the homeowner. The shower and tub surround had Kerdi over Hardibacker, while the floor had Hardibacker over plywood.

Description of Work: Had previously shopped around for porcelain tile for my kitchen and bathroom at some tile stores in greater San Diego. They either ignored us or were way overpriced. We decided to try out CV tile, we were immediately greated by a young gentlemen, David who directed us to the color and style we were looking for. I liked that they have prices and sq. Ft. available posted on the tile, unlike other places we went to. We wanted to purchase the tile the same day since our installer was going to start in a few days. Other tile stores we looked at didn't have the styles I liked in stock and I would have to wait at least 2 weeks while it was ordered. The style of tile that I choose was very similar to one I liked at another store, but was way out of my budget. At CV tile it was less than half of what it cost at the other store! David was very attentive and offered to let us take a sample tile home so we could see if we liked it with our wall paint and decor. Needless to say we instantly loved it and went back to the store and purchased the amonunt we needed. Let me add that they have a really nice selection of styles and colors at this store, I was impessed,plus the pricing can't be beat!

+ 1 moreI heard of Chula Vista TIle through a co-worker, went to their shop, was very impressed, ask for them to come out to measure and give a bid, they did the next day, good price, started work 1 week later, finished in 2 days.
Description of Work: I used Chula Vista Tile & Flooring 6yrs ago for a bathroom remodel, simple & straightforwad. 2 bathrooms: both floors & both granite countertops. Great job on the floors. The countertops were & are absolutely gorgeous. When I get ready to convert my 2nd bathroom from a tub & shower to a walk-in shower I will absolutely use Chula Vista Tile. So 6 yrs ago I was going to use another granite company local to the east county but once I saw the display's in Chula Vista's Tile showroom and then the bid, a no brainer. They are probably one of the best in San Diego county for quality & value.

+ 0 moreWe did not go with them. All the estimates we received were fair but we found that one was a bit lower than the others. They were very responsive. Within two days of giving them the particulars they were able to comeback with the estimate. We would consider this company to provide with an estimate in the future.
Description of Work: We received an estimate a month ago from Chula Vista Tile and Stone for cutting out a piece of granite for a kitchen countertop.

Juan in sales is very up to date on products that suit our needs (we like the look of wood, but have a big dog with sharp nails) and his suggestions were very much appreciated. Pablo and his team (tile) Michael and team (granite fabrication and installation) were true artisans who would only accept perfection in their work. (I wish I could remember everyone's names.) We were blown away by their commitment to customer service, their skill, and the beauty of the finished projects.
Description of Work: Price includes all demolition and removal of our previous countertops, sinks, and flooring materials, all new materials, granite fabrication, and installation of granite and tile. Projects done include granite countertops with full backsplash for medium sized kitchen; granite countertops with 6 inch backsplash for two double and one single vanities; installation of granite kitchen sink and two porcelain bathroom sinks, porcelain tile with granite inset floors for master and second bathroom; wood-look ceramic tile for living room, bedroom, and large walk in closet.
