I called in plenty of time to discuss the scope of the project and scheduling requirements. Made an appointment for first thing in the morning due to concerns about being bumped or delayed by other jobs. Arranged plumber at $145 per hour, office staff not to arrive until later in the morning and coordinated alternative parking for workman and people in the building who would be affected. Everything was in place for the 7:30 am appointment. Everybody was there except the concrete guy. I called the office at 7:45 am to see if the workman was on his way. Spoke with "Ron" (This was the person with whom I had made the original appointment). The first words out of his mouth were "Oh yes, I was going to call you?. He proceeded to explain to me that the person with whom I was scheduled had been held up on another job. I told him that I had people standing by and waiting. Ron said he would check up on the other job and get right back to me. This would be the first of several lies that morning. After waiting 30 minutes I called him back. He assured me that the guy would be there within the hour. Over the course of the next 3 hours I made at least 5 phone calls. AT NO TIME DID RON EVER BOTHER TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME. The next to last call I made was at approximately 9:45. Ron had indicated that the driver was on his way from Point Loma and would be there shortly. He arrived an hour later. I asked the driver what took him so long to get from Point Loma. Matt told me that he had stopped off at another job to help somebody else. That stop cost ME money. In total the morning delays cost me $800 in additional plumber fees and compensation. What bothers me the most is the absolute lies I was told and the utter disregard the dispatcher had for my time and money.
Description of Work: This is actually a concrete demolition and cutting company. Cored 4" hole in 12" concrete slab for drain in office space.
