Description of Work: From around November 2021 thru summer, my electric bill was getting bigger and bigger. I contacted the electric company, after several calls the technical representative informed me the radiant heat was running, the usage was so high it was nothing I was doing or could do if I tried. I was told to contact the property manager to ask how to shut off the breaker. The PM informed me that the switch in the breaker panel was a combo heat/aircon combined. This is summer. I shut the breaker and contacted the electric co the next day. The usage did not stop. That is when I needed an expert and called Richard at California General Contractors for help! He came to my condo rental, was troubleshooting the breakers, etc. Then looked for the thermostats. Their are two comfort thermostats, they only go down to low with no shut off switch. Richard got his tools and used all safety measures to carefully disconnect both units. I contacted the electric co., the usage stopped! My bill was at a whopping $1,332! The bill should never be more then then $100. Richards knowledge of what needed to be done saved me hundreds of dollars when no one else had the solution that actually solved the radiant heat from running. I'll be calling him to install new thermostats and any other job needed!
