It was around $7000 for the office area and around $5000 for the media/storage in the bedroom.

It turned out great! I was really happy with them! They were very helpful, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

Prompt professional service. Both salesperson and installer showed up on time. Installation was fast, neat and of good quality.

They were good but it wasn't anything I couldn't have done myself. It took a while to get them out here but once they came, they showed up on time and it was fine.

I called to make a no obligation in home estimate. Ben Weiss came out and he was on time and very prompt and always professional. He called the day before to confirm. Ben came out and took measurements and I was blown away how quickly he put together various designs. The computer program they use is AMAZING! You can instantly see 3D images of your closets from every angle and you can tell them if you want more drawers, more hanging space, tie racks, etc. Quite amazing this technology. Ben was very patient and took the time to explain everything. We really loved his designs. We just changed a few things due to the need for more drawers. He showed us examples of the knobs/pulls for each and the wood options. We spent more than our budget but after seeing the finished product it was worth it. I don't regret it for a second. The workers came out on the scheduled date/time and although they couldn't finish in one day, they came out today and finished the other closets. It all looks gorgeous! The workers that came out (especially Jason) was super professional and took the time to explain everything and show how to adjust the shelves if you needed to. I'd highly recommend California Closets to anyone looking for upscale custom closets. I know they are more expensive than some of the other companies out there but the quality and professionalism is so high, I think you get what you pay for. The amazing thing is that they came out and were able to install a week later! These guys are great.

The bid and plan were completed on the same day and Ed (Big Ed) was very pleasant and gave good advice. The pricing is steep, but Ed was helpful in giving options where you could reduce costs. He also helped me visualize the space by taping the outline/footprint of the desk on the floor of the room. That was helpful in seeing how much space is being used and what space you have leftover for a chair or other use. The install was done a week earlier than estimated which was very nice. The installers were very professional and worked hard. Everything fits together very well, no gaps, very nice finishing touches. I would highly recommend California Closets and would use them again.

They have the system down and deliver good service and product. You pay for the service and reliability. They fit me in their schedule when they had a cancellation so timing worked out better than expected(early). On time sales call and visual laptop demo done at my residence so I knew what I was getting immediately. (Great sales tool for these smart folks!) Paid 50 percent down and e mailed contract etc. Took two installers one and one half days to complete work. It was a good experience with no surprises. It's the way business is supposed to work and I was pretty sure I had a good company on my initial contact with their customer service rep on the phone and the follow up sales call from Big Ben. Somebody is doing a good job there on stressing customer service which I really appreciate after spending forty years in a previous life trying to improve customer service in my company etc.

great company. we worked with Meg who was very helpful and professional. the design process was simple and she helped us stay in budget. The installation went smoothly. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything looks great and the quality is unsurpassed.

From the very beginning I got top notch service, responsiveness and professionalism. I mostly worked with one of the owners, Larry, but all dealings with other personell were positive, too. They were understanding of my scheduling needs and worked with me to find a time frame that worked best. The quality of the closets is fantastic. The only complaint I have is that these closets are so wonderful that now I want all my closets re-done!

Contacted showroom office on Grand Blvd (Portland) and made appointment. Consultant came to home, took measurements, and scheduled installation coinciding with a remodel project. I was happy with the package, but apparently measurements were not precise or work not performed to make it exactly right (there were some gaps that easily would collect dust, etc.). Informed company and they sent out there number one installer the next day to remake the project -- perfect. OUTSTANDING service. Wife comments regularly "I can't believe how much this has increased our available space!"

It was great. The quality of work was excellent, and I was very pleased with them overall. Ed Brown was one of the most professional salesmen I've dealt with.

The design/sales consultant came over and listened to our needs, took measurements and came up with a design that he could show us on the computer that same day. He then was able to quickly modify the design as we sat down and discussed some different options. The install team was very prompt, professional and completely cleaned up the install mess. They also showed us all the features of the cabinets before leaving. Although this company was higher in price than other quotes we got, the difference was made up in professionalism and quality.

Mike one of the designers at California closets is terrific. The plans he submitted for my review were well thought out and encompassed all the requirements I gave him. Everything was installed in a professional manner. Compared to similar companies I believe they are on the higher side, but I m completely happy with my purchases.

Was blown away on how expensive and limited the choices were. The cost of the job was much more than we were quoted for custom hardwood cabinetry - we were very surprised.

Although CC is pricey, we greatly appreciate our new closet organizer. Designer Jennifer knew her field well, and produced the design of our organizer at our kitchen table on her laptop computer, after making measurements in the rebuilt, empty closet. She offered a good selection of finishes and accessories to compliment the design. After we approved the design, she priced the project and we accepted. The process required about 1.5 hours to complete. She scheduled installation approximately ten days in the future. CC was very good about providing updates and confirmations for the installation. On the appointed day the installation crew actually arrived a bit early. Installation went very smoothly, and in less than an hour our new organizer was ready for service. The fit and finish of the organizer is very good, and the design proved itself successful as we began loading the closet. We are very pleased that we had CC do the project. Their products and services are of high quality, although certainly not of lowest cost. We would use CC again for similar projects.

I thought the work turned out really good. Their work is guaranteed, which is nice and the workers were professional and knowledgeable. It was a bit pricey, but worth it.

Jason Bohn came to my house and measured. He provided me with a computer model of the finished installation. He showed me some very nice options for finishes on the closet doors, which match my ceiling fan. After install, I somehow managed to get the doors off track (not an easy thing to do...), but they came and fixed them for free! The quote for 2 closets was less than the quote I got from another company for the bedroom closet alone! I I had known, I would have done this years ago.

A designer came to our home twice. The second visit was to show different color samples since the first color samples did not match the room. A design was finalized, a color sample was selected and an installation date was set. We did not receive a copy of the final design. The installer was prompt. He noticed the unit was built 3'' too short and one bank of drawers was 2'' too short. He worked with me to shift the unit 3'' and said he would build a 3'' filler and I should call the designer about the drawers. I left for work and did not see the installed unit until that evening. I ordered a solid color unit, however the unit installed was two-tone and had different color doors and drawer fronts than the rest of the cabinet. The unit was the color I selected, but the doors were a different color. The response from the co. was the door colors can't match the unit colors because of the manufacturing process and they will not refund the money paid or un-install the unit.

We made the contact through Costco and got a Costco gift card after we paid in full. The design experience was good except Carolyn forgot to ask me what kind of drawer handles we wanted... she had to explain the options to me over that phone rather than letting me see them. It did turn out OK though. There was also a miscommunication about a tie rack; I have to call back and order one separately. Rich, the installer, worked alone and was very efficient, installing the three closets in about 5 hours. We did have to remove all preexisting hardware from the closets prior to their arrival--they used to do the demo, too, but not anymore.

Bobbi Jo came out and did some measurements (apparently she hadn't been told it was unfinished), said she would get back to us with a design a week later, and we never heard from her again.

VERY NICE WORK. OUR REP., KATHY BITTER, DID A FANTASTIC JOB GIVING US ADVICE, AND DIRECTION ON HOW TO ACHIEVE OUR GOALS. THE CLOSETS ARE GREAT. MY ONE CAVEAT IS THAT THE WORKMEN WHO CAME TO INSTALL THE INTERIOR WALLS OF THE CLOSETS, INSTALLED THEM 1/2 INCH FROM THE INTERIOR WALLS OF OUR CLOSET, AND I WANTED THEM MORE LIKE 1/8TH OF AN INCH. IN THE SHOWROOM THEY ARE ROUGHLY 1/8TH OF AN INCH, AND THAT WAS MY EXPECTATION. A MINOR CONCERN OVERALL. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH THEM AGAIN.

THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE CAME AND TALKED WITH US ABOUT HOW WE USED THE CLOSET SPACE, THEN MADE PROPOSALS ABOUT HOW TO DIVIDE UP THE SPACE WITH RODS, SHELVES, ETC. TO MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY AND STORAGE.

I WALKED IN AND WAS HELPED TO FIND THE CLOSETS WE NEEDED FOR MY DAUGHTER'S NEW ROOM. THEY WERE MIRRORS AND MATCHED PERFECTLY. THEY WERE ALSO THE RIGHT FIT AND COLOR.
