Mike returned my call promptly, scheduled a time to look at the job and give me a quote. We agreed on the price. The crew showed up as expected. They took about 6 hours, were careful around the stucco on the house and the plants in the front. When the job was done, they had cleaned up and, other than a clean sidewalk, you would not have known they were there. I paid Mike with a check for the amount he quoted. It went exactly as I would expect this kind of transaction to go.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mike Redfield! From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and he paid close attention to detail. He went above and beyond making sure I would be happy with the outcome of the job. I have an old, tired paver patio that needed to be cleaned and sealed, and I was unsure what I wanted regarding the final finish. Mike made separate trips with different samples of sealer to make sure I knew my options, and he explained the pros and cons of each with patience and a smile. Once we picked the sealer, Mike was there every step of the way to make sure the job was running smoothly and that I was pleased. He is truly a contractor who cares. Mike and his team did an excellent job, and I would definitely recommend them!!

Mike Redfield visited, provided an estimate, and thoroughly explained the cleaning and sealing process for the concrete. The stamped concrete patio was installed in 2004 and was dirty and appeared to have lost much of its original color. Following our agreement to move forward, a two person cleaning team spent approximately 5 hours cleaning the concrete with Mike present much of the time to assure work went well. Several days later (following the weekend) another two person team spent several hours putting on two coats of sealer. Mike visited the site frequently to assure there were no problems. Mike and his team went to a great deal of trouble to assure that the lawn and plantings were not damaged during the cleaning and sealing process. The patio now has its' great color and shine back and looks very much like it did when new in 2004. Mike was always available to respond to questions and is extremely customer oriented.

Mike and his team did a fantastic job. He provided a quote and stayed in touch over the following couple of months until we were ready to do the job. The price was very reasonable and as soon as we were ready, he had a team out within the week. They arrived on time and were finished within a few hours. The pavers look like new.

The project went perfectly. They worked around my schedule, did follow up phone calls. The men showed up on time, were very tidy and professional. The things that the other company did not address were taken care of. (Spots,etc.) I saved money but above all, it was great to work with someone like Mike.He knows his business/ products and was very honest in his approach. Mike came highly referred by RCP Block and Brick (where my pavers were purchased) to fix someone else?s bad work. We hired Mike Redfield, owner of ?California Clean & Seal? after having a bad experience hiring someone who did a very bad job doing the maintenance on our driveway pavers. Upon meeting Mike for the first time, I had a great first impression. He responded to my call right away. He showed up on time for our appointment. He was very easy to communicate with and he was not the type to tell me or sell me something I didn?t need. He quickly assessed my problems which were: Improper sealer install from previous contractor How quickly problems started occurring after that work was done Sand inconsistencies The pile of sand in the middle of my driveway after the first rain Haze over paver surface causing color to look washed out and dull The frustration I experienced with trying to get problem rectified How many times and how long previous contractor tried to fix the problem Mike?s references all came in with boasts about how wonderful he was and what a great job that he did at their homes. At my home, he offered to show me sample areas using different products so that I could easily see for myself the results before hiring him and it made me feel like I was the one making the right decision for my situation. He told me how long the repair would take from start to finish and he was right on track. In the future, I will always look for a specialty person to perform the work I need and not assume that the contractor who installed my driveway also knows how to maintain it. Mike?s specific knowledge about cleaning and sealing enabled him to efficiently finish the work within a short period of time. Mike is at the top of his field when it comes to knowing about hardscapes. After working with Mike, I can say that he excels in customer service and satisfaction. He is honest, fair and thorough, always checking back in during the project. I liked knowing he was involved and monitoring the work. I am so glad to have found someone that does the job right!
