Bubba's Moving Co

BUTCHERS, THIEVES, LIARS, and CROOKS! My WORST experience with any business - EVER. BUTCHERS: Numerous gouges and scrapes in an expensive wood bed AND leather sofa. THIEVES: One employee took some of my things, which they ADMITTED. However, MONTHS of broken promises and lies has followed. I have some of my things back, still waiting for others. Even now (almost SIX MONTHS later!), I'm being told "it'll be taken care of". Nope - just more more deceit and lies. LIARS: The broken promises: "Yes, the ski equipment will be returned tomorrow", and then nobody shows, no call, no email. And the same thing happens AGAIN the next time they tell me this. And AGAIN. So no more of this. Tired of being ignored and lied to, I send an email that I'll be coming into the office in the morning. I arrive, and... LIARS (continued): I'm told my equipment is in an employee's car in Carlsbad. The owner (who I finally meet, though I've been asking to talk with him for days now) says he was unaware, and after calling the employee, assures me she will be back well within an hour. I come back in exactly one hour, and call the owner from my car. He has stepped out, the employee has not returned, but she will be here for sure in another half hour (says another employee). (Oh, by the way, I still hadn't been emailed the claim forms I'd been asking about for a week now.) LIARS (continued again): I come back in another half hour, and my stuff is still nowhere to be seen. CROOKS: An utter lack of follow-through, an endless stream of lies, and an owner who only wants to communicate via TEXT? (Gee, ya think that might have to do with not wanting a paper trail?) They will lie to you and ignore you until (they hope) you eventually just go away. The BBB didn't help (oh, almost forgot - that "BBB" logo on Bubba's website? They have no BBB accreditation!) I look forward to pursuing this in small claims court - dealing with the court system actually sounds pleasant compared to the disgusting experience that dealing with Bubba's has been. In summary: BUTCHERS, THIEVES, LIARS, and CROOKS! Worst experience I have ever had with any business. Don't let the owner's "response" to "F" reviews and 1-star reviews (on other sites) fool you. He'll happily take "necessary corrective measures"? Again, they will lie to you until you give up and go away. Bubba's has been given almost six months of opportunities to address my concerns. All I have to show for it me are more lies and broken promises.

Their prices were excellent and they really were meticulous and took care about everything. I moved from an apartment to a condo. They called and informed about the time they were arriving and if they were running late or early they were flexible with that. When they got there they ended up taking up more time than they had thought. I was willing to pay for that too and they said that it was okay. They were just tired at the end of it. I suggested that they take a break and come back as I was in no hurry and that was nice. They were two great kids in that company. They were upbeat and positive and they worked very systematically. They were very organized. One of my things had a scratch on it and they brought it to my notice but that scratch was there even before they handled it. They were very honest. They hit one of the walls and they told me but I was fine with that because it was going to get painted. It wasn’t even much and it could be taken care of easily.
