My recent wood flooring project required new base trim that required painting. I chose Bowman Painting based on a large number of positive reviews. I received a call from Rick Bowman within minutes of sending an inquiry. I had a very compressed schedule due to a planned weekend party. He responded immediately with a very professional crew, perfectly color matched the existing trim and went to work. The results are outstanding. As a general contractor, I'm an experienced judge of sub-contractor professionalism and Bowman exemplifies exactly that. Not only did they began work 7 a.m. on Saturday but while at my home, the crew asked if they could assist in our efforts to put furniture back in the project rooms. I had a very good experience with Rick Bowman. The job was to paint three walls in an interior room (the fourth has wallpaper that remained), plus metal sliding doors, plus a "popcorn" ceiling that had to be sprayed to do it right. The walls were painted flat, as was the ceiling. The metal doors, however, were painted with "eggshell". So there were three kinds of paint in the overall job. Rick was punctual both for the bid and in arriving for the work. His price was fair and the quality of the work was excellent. There was quite a bit of damaged plaster around the periphery of a large window in the room, and Rick repaired all of it, perfectly. He and his assistant were very careful with covering things, and there were no problems at all removing and replacing blinds, a light fixture, and electrical outlet covers. Coverage with two coats was needed (a light color over a dark color), and was successful. Lots of attention to detail. And Rick is a very friendly person. Highly recommended.
