 + -1 moreOur Hunter Douglas Luminette Privacy Sheers were pretty dusty. It took twice as long as estimated, but the result was fantastic.
Description of Work: Brandon picked took the sheers down and took them to their facility. He then reinstalled them. Very good to work with.

 + 0 moreWe weren't real happy with them. They basically put in the headers, put new poles on the header so you could open and close the blinds, they are vertical and on one window they put in on the wrong way and it close the wrong way. They came out and took care of that. They are not responsive, but we have called their office twice. I would not use them again. I would not recommend them.
Description of Work: I used Blind Speed for blind cleaning and windows about seven or eight months ago. They didn't put in blinds, just put in new inserts for the two windows.

 + -1 moreI purchased a replacement cord for my Hunter Douglas blind and was charged $25 for a 3' cord. I later learned that the same part was available online for $5. I realize that online purchases are not comparable because of many factors however I feel that five times as expensive is not reasonable. I objected to the price at the time because it just seemed too high but I needed the part right away. I will not do business with this company in the future.
Description of Work: Purchase of replacement part over the counter in store.

 + -1 moresame as usual. its been there 4 times and can never get properly fixed
Description of Work: i have a top down bottom up blind, and it was brought here to be fixed. the top part would no longer go up. when i got it back, they decided with out my permission, to change the draw strings, and the ends. they shortend the stings, and replaced the ends with cheep low quality ends. this isnt the first time i have had problems with them. just glad mine are warrenty work and i did not have to pay for them, but i will never go back here again. funny how they act like my blind was never in there and how they don't want to correct there stupid mistake.

 + -1 moreLeft blind to be repaired and asked for them to call me first with a price before proceeding as I thought the estimate was too high and I needed to get approval from my neighbor as it was her blind. Did not call with an estimate. They called after the work was done and it was double what I was quoted over the phone. This work was done for my neighbor and she put a limit on what to pay them which they accepted. Quoted 40, charged 80, paid 60. I won't go back

 + -1 moreOut of the 5 window treatment companies that I called for an estimate, Blind Speed / Sparkle Blinds is the only one that would not set an exact appointment. Instead they gave me a window of time, like the cable company, in which they would show up. So I had to sit around all day waiting for them. And then THEY NEVER SHOWED UP and never called. Not exactly the kind of customer service I'm looking for in a company.

Description of Work: I called for service on my Hunter Douglas Blinds, which they said they do. They quoted me a reasonable price and said the scheduler, Anthony, would call that day to set up an appointment. He never did. He still hasn't called. They don't seem to have their act together. When I asked if there is an Angie's List discount, they said they'd never heard of Angie's List.

 + -1 moreThey did this work about a year or so ago. They showed up on time when they said they would. Because it was just the plastic fittings, he had this on his van. He was able to fix in right then. I would use them again for future service.
Description of Work: They repaired a laminate blind. Luckily all they had to do was to put new plastic fittings on the top. This was nice because I didn't want to have to pay for new blinds. This was the first time that I had used this company.

 + -1 moreThey were very late returning them, and when they reinstalled them, they were crooked. When we asked the delivery guy about it, he said the boss said to hurry up and just get the blinds returned. After he left, we realized there were tangled cords, bends in 4 slats, and missing parts underneath. My husband and I have both called, and we were finally able to talk to someone who said he will resolve this.
Description of Work: Needed all of my downstairs blinds cleaned, 8 windows including 2 sets of eight foot sliders.

 + -1 moreWe dropped off the blind on Wednesday and picked it up Saturday. The workers were courteous and friendly. We chose them, because they stock parts for all major blind brands and we didn't have to wait for special order of parts.
Description of Work: Fixed a internal cord "cordless" Levelor blind for us. Restrung the broken cords.
