Description of Work: I called for an appointment to have my ac unit service in August 2014. The technician came out on 9/16/2014, but due to backup on technician schedule, he reached my home around 4:30 pm that afternoon and was unable to complete the assignment on that day. Technician came back on 9/23/2014 at 8:30 am to flush out contaminated refrigerant and replace refrigerant. Perform a thorough check of my air ducts in the attic, etc. It went very well and I now have cool air circulating through my home. Thank you Wayne.

Description of Work: This was a second trip to attempt to fix a leak in the pantry floor. They came in response to a 30 day warranty. Initially they thought it was coming from leaking caulk tied to the tub. They looked again today and said he could not do the job without doing a bathroom remodel. It appears the leak is coming from the wall. Initially I also asked to have them contact me prior to the techs arrival because of our dogs. They forgot.

Description of Work: Flushed tankless water heater. Damaged finish on one kohler faucet when replacing valve. Said he could replace my broken under the kitchen sink water heater and would contact me about it but never did even after I called and left a message.

Description of Work: They were hired to do furnace vent cleaning. Had used them several years ago. Price now was more than double. Equipment for suction was much less powerful and blower wasn't disconnected for the cleaning. I've used Bill Howe for plumbing services and found them very satisfactory. In this case I probably wouldn't recommend them for vent cleaning considering the price charged and the downgrading of the suction equipment.

Description of Work: I worked with John. He replaced a hose bib in the back yard. He answered all my questions, and followed up when necessary. He was very polite and professional.

Description of Work: I was on a maintenance service plan. A technician cleaned the blower compartment and condensation lines, checked fuses, voltage high and low, changed the filter. There was more to the checkup as well. I am very satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: We had an emergency at the house we had just purchased. Because it had sat vacant for a period, the sewage pipes became blocked. When we ran the dishwasher for the first time, the sewage backed up into our bathrooms. We called Bill Howe around midday on a Sunday. They were able to come out and fix the problem (snaked the cleanout) quickly, efficiently, and for less money than I expected. The gentleman who performed the service was very professional. I would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: They had to fix the connection to city water under the sidewalk. It was leaking and the city said it was on our side of the meter. I think the price charged was fair but hey $400.00 is still a chunk I would rather have spent elsewhere. But oh well the city wouldn't do it!

Description of Work: It turned out to be a major project/problem but they had to come back three times during a three day period. It was daughters wedding weekend so we had a lot of people over.

Description of Work: My 98 year old friend had a water leak in her tiny single wide trailer and I called Bill Howe for her. All of the company technicians (4 so far) -from the leak detetector, to repairing the pipes and drain, to getting the water out of the carpet and installing dehumidifiers - were very polite, patient and accommodating. They explained what they were doing, more than once, and made sure all the electrical cords and tubing were taped safely out of her way so she would not trip over them. When she got overwhelmed and a bit upset, they agreed to do part of the work and return the next day to finish the process. Today the technician returned to inspect the rest of the pipes, now that the insulation from underneath the trailer has been removed, and gave recommendations for additional work (after all the pipes are 50 years old) but there isn't anything urgent to be done right away. I haven't had the appointment to review what needs to be done to replace the insulation and carpet pad, but I expect it will be as good an experience, considering the situation. This is the first time I've used Bill Howe Plumbing and they will be the first ones I will call for my own home.

Description of Work: Changed kitchen sink angle stops. |I was going thru a restoration from water damage. The plumber w/the restoration company called and left a message @ 4:30pm the day before the service date to say they couldn't make it. I didn't get the message until after 6pm. I needed the stops changed before moving onto the next phase of restoration. And the water is only shut off one day per week in a very specific time frame. So I called Bill Howe Plumbing first thing on water shut off day. They came out promplty & performed the work quickly. I have been using Bill Howe Plumbing for several years. Perfect service everytime.

Description of Work: Bill Howes plumbers replaced an old leaky faucet. He came prepared with a couple of different noodles and let me pick the one we wanted. They did a good job and I'm satisfied. He arrived towards the end of the visit window, but he was not late. I'd use them again although they are a little expensive they do good work
