Description of Work: I had two visits as I purchased a heater check which was covered and went fine. The first visit was for our water heater which was not covered so I paid full price and the only complaint is that they did not have the right length connector and it would have cost a trip charge to get the correct part so he used what he had (which was a little long). The water heater has worked fine since then.

Description of Work: They came out but there was a fee for just showing up. The technician determined the source of the problem (not enough water pressure in the house), which he indicated was a common problem in this area. However, he did not have the valve needed to repair and offered to charge me by the our while he went to Home Depot to buy one and then install it. I paid the fee for coming out and pointing out what the problem was (not happily at $150). I then went to HD myself and purchased the valve for $75 with a $15 wrench and replaced it myself. Had I had enough knowledge, I could have saved myself that $150. The tech did no other work nor provided a break for the fee which is why I'll never use Bil Howe again. Total waste of money compared to others who will at least give you an assessment before charging anything.

Description of Work: I believe service was 4 months ago and it ran around $300 to repair a leaky faucet for a tenant, which I thought was a bit high; however, it may have been less as I don't have my records with me. I was not there at the time. |Howe Plumbing did work for me a year ago in soldering a leaky copper pipe in my rental garage that other plumbers had trouble locating and fixing. |They were professional and extremely competent. |

Description of Work: Installed two new bathroom faucets and replaced an outside faucet. Jason even crawled under my house during a heat wave to find a possible water leak. Also extended a drip pipe for my A/C. Bill Howe has performed heating and plumbing services for several branches of my family for many years and are always prompt, courteous and professional. This is a most reliable company with great employees.I wouldn't call anyone else.

Description of Work: We had used Bill Howe many years ago, sometime in 2009 or 2010 when we were fairly new to the area. The Bill Howe representative was responsive, arrived within reasonable time particularly on a weekend. We were just happy to have the leak fixed and can't complain about workmanship. In a pinch, their service was good. Can't recall the price off the top of our heads but do remember it being quite high to replace a small section of our pipe that had a hole in it. We now have a regular plumber and are extremely happy with his workmanship and cost for labor which is the most reasonable that we have encountered and he does not charge us extra for a weekend call if needed.

Description of Work: THEIR STAR TECHNICIAN, LOUIS SEPULVEDA, USED A "ROTO-ROOTER" CABLE WITH BLADES TO CLEAR OUT A DRAINAGE PIPE THAT HAD BECOME CLOGGED WITH ROOTS. HE ALSO FIXED A STIFF FAUCET HANDLE IN THE GUEST BATHROOM. WE HAVE USED BILL HOWE SERVICES MANY TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY SATISFIED.

Description of Work: Good at plumbing. Horrible at Flood & Restoration. They tried to take short cuts when a pipe broke in the ceiling that flooded my living room. To impress insurance company on $$ damages they tried to take shortcuts. They wanted to vacume the drenched wet carpet rather than replace. They went back and forth with inspection in a wall to determine if it had moisture in the wall or not. I finally asked them to leave after a week and called Gold Coast Restoration who is much more professional and knowledgeable. They determined there was water inside the wall and a moisture/mold problem would have occurred if I didn't have a contract replace the drywall.

Description of Work: THEY GAVE US AN ESTIMATE, DID SOME WORK AND SAID THEY NEEDED A PART TO FINISH. THEY NEVER CAME BACK. WE GOT A BID FOR OTHER WORK AND IT WAS $2500 AND WE HAD THE WORK DONE BY SOMEONE ELSE FOR $900.
