He could not find the leak and I had to call the original contractor in order to fix the problem. However, he did the beset he could. He was very conscientious. The bill was hefty for not fixing the problem but it was not his fault. The problem was inside a wall. It is a fine outfit and I would call them again.

Julio showed up at 9 about an hour and 30 minutes after I called this in. In the past Bill Howe has arrived for an emergency within 45 minutes, but 90 minutes is acceptable. I asked how long it would take to replace in the current location vs move it and he said it would take " a couple of hours" to move the pipe, which I should note is a small surface pipe. I told him to move it only if it could be done in about an hour and left him to work. He dug out the broken pipe, created a 2 foot trench and moved the faucet as requested in an hour and a half. This is a good solution, considering the faucet is in a location and has been snapped off before. I will say Julio was not as fast a worker as Bill Howe employees the two other times we have used this company and he spent a fair amount of time at his van for reasons unknown.The work appears to be fine and I am okay with the price considering the situation. I find Bill Howe to be on the expensive side for both emergency and regular work, but if you have an overflowing toilet or real emergency they will be there.

If I had it to do all over again, I would have checked Angie's List right away because it turned out that they are available for emergency situations like this 24 hours a day. As it was, they were extremely responsive when I called them the next morning. Art was very professional, appeared to be experienced and competent, and was very considerate about cleaning up after the work was done. I appreciate it that he put on a pair of booties over his shoes when he came into the house, and everywhere he worked was spotless after he left.

I picked Bill Howe based on the reviews they have in angieslist. After making an appointment, they sent Rick Diamond to our place to look at the water pressure. After initial inspection, he suggested us to get 2 water pressure valves as 1 will be good only for couple of years and we might ran into problems later. He was very efficient and gave us a ball park estimate of how much it will cost me to put 2 valves. I was surprise to see the number as it was very low than the plumber (who did inspection when we were purchasing this house ) who said he will take approx. $999.00 for changing the pressure valve. Immediately, I asked Rick to perform the services and he did a very very good job. The final price was even less than the estimate he gave. Rick Diamond was truly professional and explained each n every details of his work and even broke down the invoice so that we can understand what are we paying for. I will strongly recommend Bill Howe and ask for Rick Diamond.

Two men, two full days - climbed under the full length of the house, cut out old cast iron drains from kitchen and laundry room area, replaced lines and redid plumbing under sinks; repaired a cold-water faucet feed valve. Repairs all seem to be working well. Very courteous men, even after crawling under house, flat on back under ductwork in very cramped conditions - they didn't complain a bit, very pleasant about it . The price did seem high, but I agreed to it prior to the start of work; and the work under the house was brutal - especially in June heat; so I'm glad they completed it and it's working well. I will call them again.

The guy that came out was pretty personable and worked pretty quickly I think. I probably wouldn't say that I was thrilled with what he did, but he did pretty good work I guess.

I'm going to try and be objective. My condo has a leak in a wall that began yesterday and has progressively gotten worse. I called Bill Howe Plumbing first thing this morning 7am. I was given a three hour window and the understanding that they would call a half hour before arriving. 3.5 hours later, no one has arrived. I feel bummed because I pay for Angie's List and Bill Howe received an A rating. For this reason, I believed that the service would be prompt and effective. Unfortunately, the leak has now affected all of the wood floor in our dining area and now I've had to call another plumber, Black Mountain Plumbing to come out. Would you believe, they told me that they would be out in 30 minutes? I should have gone with them first. Despite this, I have used Angie's List before and all the other services have been wonderful. Bill Howe you were a real disappointment.

They did an excellent job, however I thought they were a bit costly. I certainly would use them again if I needed to.

My interaction with them was positive. They were on time, thorough, and seemed to know what they were doing. I will maybe use them in the future. Their price was a little bit high.

I have an apartment building. They have went and done quit a bit of work for my manager over there. JUst little repairs toilets, drippy faucets and that kind of thing. I thought their prices were good. They were very efficient about getting there. They were very good at getting out there promptly and getting my manager feedback about when they get there. They were there on time and of course they did their work well. I will continue to use them.

This company gave us a complete evaluation of all the things that were wrong, and right, with our situation. Contrary to their financial interests, they gave assurance we did not have to do some expensive drainage work at this time. Proposed solutions, should there be future issues, do not involve areas that we intend to remodel, such as flooring. Contrary to their self-interest, as we were clearly willing to spend whatever was necessary to do infrastructure work, their people recommended we do nothing immediately. They said why and they explained how we could avoid future issues, evaluate a problem for its seriousness, and address major repairs should they become necessary.All dealings were professional and courteous. We will definitely use this company in the future.

It was a very good job. It was very complicated, it was not a straightforward job and it was a very big project but they did it very well. They were very professional. They came to us with an estimate that was very clear and understandable. We felt confident that they were not trying to mess around with us. We did have to pay a good price for it but he did a great job. We did have a little bit of trouble just recently about a month and they came right out. It was a problem with a power switch in the house, it had to be flipped, it was a minor thing, and they did it. They came right out and were very pleasant, so that was wonderful.

During an inspection of my water conditioning system I was told that the pressure regulator valve had failed and needed to be fixed within two days or my warranty on the unit would be compromised (another company - not Bill Howe). I called Bill Howe right away and they gave me several time slots to choose from that same day. I choose 12 - 2 and they said I'd get a call a half an hour before they'd show up and I did. The PRV was replaced and the water pressure was tested and the regulator adjusted all within an hour. The men were prompt, friendly, courteous and neat. The amount I paid was within the range quoted over the phone. It was also within a few dollars of what I was told by the other company I should expect to have to pay. I have used Bill Howe before for other work and would do so again.

Polite, efficient and reasonably priced service. Our new programmable thermostat is easier to read and has saved us $ in monthly utility cost.
