Very well from beginning to end. The crew came with the appropriate equipmemnt, were knowledgeable, effecient and professional. Repaired the serious root problem and guarentees that it will not reoccur for the lifetime of the residence! Great follow up and interest in knowing that we were satisifed with their performance. Sent a CD demonstrating the severity of the problem, how it would be corrected and the end result. We are extremely satisified!

Excellent. Quality work. Good communication and punctuality. I've been struggling with the financing. Not only did their finance company finance their work, but much of the other repairs to the property. Very glad I involved Bill Howe in the project.

We have dealt with about half a dozen plumbers in the past 10 years and were always a little disappointed, with either work or when the work was done well with the expense. But when Bill Howe's crew came over we were pleasantly surprised. They are extremely professional. They have up-to-date equipment and they did not charge for using the camera to inspect our pipes and give an estimate (we paid another plumber over $300 for same camera evaluation - but with older, not so great equipment). Bill Howe came in more than $1000 below the other estimate. The staff were here for 3 days working on the sewer line until it was right. They expected the job to be one day but ended up being 3 days (through no fault of the workers). They were not satisfied with how the liner met up with the PVC so they came back and added more liner. Every time they ran across a problem that extended the project they explained in detail what needed to be done and also explained that there would be no extra charge. In the end they showed us the fully lined pipe and stayed exactly within their bid. It's s nice to find plumbers you can count on and with reasonable prices!

Bill Howe Plumbing and their technician Rick Diamond went above and beyond to do this repair for us. There were multiple trips to our house to obtain the proper parts. The work was then done quickly and properly with a walk through to be sure the work was satisfactory. Warranties on parts and labor were explained. We had a bar faucet that could not be repaired because of a broken part inside the assembly. Diamond offered to make a call to the vendor on our behalf to see if a replacement part would be made available. That call was successful and we will be receiving a new faucet. Just a really positive experience with this company and this technician in particular.

We probably won't use them again. When I bought the deal on Angies List, I was unaware that the company was so busy that my tenants, who have a small child, had to wait 3 weeks during June-July in the heat before someone could come out to take a look at their unit. Once they got there, the service, etc. was great. Too bad everyone's air conditioner broke down at the same time.

I found a small puddle of water under the access panel for the air condition system and thought it might be a clogged drain . I called another company out and they did a diagnosis and said I would need a new drip pan but they didn't have it that size anymore and it might be best if I replace the whole unit. The only thing the tech did was blow down the primary drain to see if it was clear. He said he would do a little more checking to see if he could locate a new drip pan and get back to me. I waited for ten days and just decided to call out another company. I called Bill Howe and set up an appointment. They showed up on time, came in and checked the situation. They saw that the drip pan wasn't level and the water was coming out of one end. They leveled the drip pan and blew out the drains then tested the pan by filling the pan with water to see if drained properly. Bill Howe's techs did a very professional and honest job. I was impressed by there performance and would not hesitate to use them in the future. I forgot to mention that the cost of the parts used was only $10.

I have 30 y/o Kalista faucets. The hot did not work and I could not get the cartridge out. Tyler and Louis came out and fixed it in a few minutes. It pays to have the right tools and know what you are doing. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. This is the first time I have used Bill Howe but I will use them again. I even got my 10% Angies's discount for doing it on Wednesday.

Polite gentleman. He went straight to work. informed me what the problem was, how he would fix it and advised me on the connectors I purchased and checked my toilet replacement for any wrong doing. Great experience. I called at 815am and using water freely by 9:30am. :)

The scheduler on the phone was very polite and professional and the plumber arrived timely but did not introduce himself or talk much. He was very aloof. I showed him the leaking toilet and he suggested that I replace the whole thing and that the job wasn't worth it. After he repaired the toilet I asked about a problem with an upstairs shower control. He did not want to deal with it and his attitude was distant and unhelpful. I called them in place of our regular plumber because they could get out to my house to perform the work sooner. Their rates were a lot higher than my family owned plumber. They called then from the office offering a coupon for the next service which I declined so they must have understood that I would not be a repeat customer.

The service turned out fine. They did a good job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There was an additional charge. He worked pretty quickly and he solved the problem. I don't have anything negative to say. I might use them again depending on the work.

He did a wonderful job. He did everything when he said he would. He got the work done on time and did a great job.

The service was awesome. He explained everything. The heater needed a part replaced, and they had the part on the truck which was great. He was able to replace the part and make everything safe right there. He also explained to the people renting how to use the unit. We will call them for our own personal residence as well.

Service: First off, Justin and Patrick were great. They did great service. They were thorough and detailed, and would answer any question I had. Jaime is great on the phones. Christian get's an honorable mention, as well. Context/History: When my main line backs up, the two toilets I have bubble and gurgle. So I've had BH out here couple of times, and the first main line backup issue they helped me out with was determined to be caused by roots in my pipes. So thousands later, we descaled and laid out some liner within my main pipe. I was told I'd be good to go. This was six/seven months ago. Most recent issue: My toilets began bubbling and gurgling, and sure enough my main line was backed up. Using the camera, we could see the obstruction and it was a wad of toilet paper that was hung up on what looked like two little mountains of buildup in my my pipes. I would have imagined that this wasn't a recent development, and may have in fact been missed the last time BH camera'd my pipes. I don't even know that they actually camera'd my entire line, which I would have imagined they would have just to be thorough (I have the video, so I'll check it out). I am disappointed that my main is backing up, and what may have been prevented by proper analysis a while ago, wasn't. Dang, this old house....

He arrived an hour plus later than the 4-hour window I was told to expect him. His work on the hot water tank went quickly. His work on the pressure regulator took a couple hours and his labor was expensive.

. The young man who showed up must have been just out of training because he told me all kinds of technical reasons my systems were below par which I couldn't understand. He said there was a leak in my AC unit and proceeded to replace all the freon with nitrogen so he could test it. Mind you ... my AC was working before he came - I thought I was buying a tune-up. He charged me an additional $80 (or so) when I left for work and when I returned home there was no AC at all and no information or instructions about what was planned next. 36 hours later, I learned that he had disabled the unit when he left but had made no arrangements to return to fix it. I called another HVAC guy (more local) who showed up that very day and replaced the freon (which was quite expensive since it had been drained completely). He could find no leak other than what might be normal for a unit that old (15 yrs). I suppose I could explore small claims court for the cost of the wasted freon ... but I have better things to do.

They just came out and did their thing. They were very professional. They were not really good rated water heater recommended by them.

Team was on time, very professional, consulted on any decisions that had to be made on placement, etc. and cleaned up after themselves.

They are extremely courteous, tidy, professional, timely, stick with the job till it's done. They always stand by their work and will immediately fix anything that is not up to par. They can tackle a wide range of electrical needs. I would recommend them to anyone; business or residential.

It went perfectly. Gilbert was professional and friendly, the service that was needed was provided and all is working as required! I will definitely contact Bill Howe plumbing if any more service is required.

For the mot part it went all well until the end of April when the handle lever inside (attached to the chain which pulls up the flapper) broke off right at the connection. Not sure why/how that could break but it happened when the chain had ended up catching in the flapper so the water was continuing to run and I opened it up to remove the chain and the entire piece came off. I hadn't even touched the lever, only the chain! Best guess, it was already weakened prior to or during the replacement process. Ugh...

Excellently. In 2011 Bill Howe's folks came out and examined our old leaking sewer lateral and, after scoping it out with camera, advised us to line it with epoxy instead of replacing the lateral. This made excellent sense as it is an older house and when it is replaced, so will the plumbing to the sewer. They gave us a bid (which included installation of two cleanouts) and performed the work as agreed. All went well for two years. While away on vacation, we got a call from the neighbors who explained that their sewer lateral was blocked and the plumber they hired to correct it, discovered that they shared the last 6 feet of lateral with us at a Y, just before it entered the city sewer system. The plumber also reported that he discovered through a camera test, that the blockage was caused by our lining largely covering the other side of the Y (hence the neighbors problem). Importantly, the Y was a surprise to all of us as the existing cleanouts in the sidewalk clearly suggested two laterals (ours and the neighbor's) running the last 6 feet to the city pipes. Additionally, the reason that it went undiscovered for two years was that until just before the blockage was a problem, the house was occupied by a sole owner who had his laundry done at a laundromat, did not use the dishwasher, and basically used very little water. Thus the flow was sufficient through the Y to drain his sewage. The remarkable and admirable twist here is that based on a call from me late one Friday evening, Bill Howe's folks looked up my address, verified that indeed they did put in a lining, sent out a couple guys with a camera to verify the story, assessed the situation, acknowledged their oversight, put in a temporary repair to allow use of the neighbor's house over the weekend, and then returned on Monday to permanently repair the pipes. Amazingly, they not only did all this work at their own expense, but paid the bill incurred by our neighbor for the plumber they had hired to clear their blocked drain! In short, their service was not only excellent, but they stood behind their work! I highly recommend them based not only on this experience, but other jobs at our house which were simply routine repairs with no follow on surprises.

I was in a bind at the time so I needed to have the work done pronto. Bill Howe was very accomodating in getting there the next day. The nature of the work was a awkward type of replacement as the soldering needs to be done directly adjacent to a "plastic Housing". This is why the work took 1-1/2 hrs to complete. I am more unhappy with the type of housing we are made to accept due to no other choice that is available then the fact that it cost us so much to do what would have normally been a 20-40 min job.
