Had washer drain cleaned...quick neat and friendly servicemen!

They did very good work. Everything is working well. My washing machine water is going down as it should, and the drain is work properly. I would definately recommend them to others.

We called Bill Howe Plumbing because our hot water heater was not heating the water and the pilot light would not stay lit when we turned the thermostat to heat. We were given 2 options...1. Fix the current heater for about 365.00 to 600.00 or 2. install a new water heater for 1400.00. I chose the first option. After replacing the thermocouple for 365.00, the heater still did not work. We chose not to make any further attempt to repair the current heater. I told the Bill Howe employee, I wanted to do more research before committing to a new water heater. Today, I had another repair person come from another company to install a new water tank. He told me there was nothing wrong with our heater. Upon further inspection he noticed a knob that was suppose to open if the water heated above 210 degrees was out. He had never seen this happen before. He pushed the knob to its correct position. He thoroughly inspected the tank, not finding anything wrong. The heater was re-lit and we now have hot water. His service fee was half of what Bill Howe Plumbing charged. In addition, he said he could have the repair done by Bill Howe Plumbing for under 100.00.

Bill Howe did many little jobs in the house I was moving out of and the Condo I moved into. Everything was leaking in my new place, the dishwasher and every sink and they came right over. I think they're a large company that can send someone right away, very professional and polite, maybe more expensive but two thumbs up.

Very professional work, although we wished we had checked the price for a water heater and pan elsewhere. The work completed was done in an excellent manner, but it was expensive.

I already had a laborer digging out the old line, and the estimator was fine with the way that work was being done, and he gave us some tips as well. He was also VERY helpful in discussing some other very minor jobs I wanted done. |With the trenching done, I scheduled with Bill Howe for a visit. The plumber called en route and arrived on time. He too was VERY helpful in helping me understand some of the details of the job. He got all the work done in a few hours, and the work was beautifully done. While I did NOT price-shop for this work, I was VERY pleased with their responsiveness as well as the professionalism of both of their representatives. I think I might have gotten the job done cheaper, but not as quickly (which was a factor) and perhaps not as well done. I was completely satisfied with all aspects of this job, and I let them know.

There was a clog in our main sewer line resulting in a backup of water into the downstairs shower. I called first thing in the morning and they were able to send someone by early afternoon. They were the third plumber that I called and could send someone same day. The problem was fixed very quickly. The reason for the higher cost was we opted to get a video check of our main line just in case to make sure the main line was cleared. I would definitely use them again.

Replaced shower cartridge, handle, screw & shower neck pipe. These updates stopped the leak.

Installed hot water heater. Service was great.

They fixed a leaking copper pipe in our garage. No complaints.

Replaced a pipe under the driveway and repaired a commode. Their service was good but I thought their prices were too high. I would consider using them again if I really needed a plumber.

They repaired a leaking toilet. The toilet functioned better.

It was okay but I went to a different company that my insurance recommended. They came out and told us what's the problem but they couldn't identify what's the cause of the problem that we were having. I would recommend and hire them again. I was happy.

Tenant called me & told me had to call plumber during WE (Sunday) as a hose was leaking under sink. Bill Howe Plumbing to the rescue: Replaced riser Hose under kitchen sinkRiser hose size 3/8 x 1/2 , part price $5.76 Labor ($217.50) Total for 1 hr's work $223.26 OK, I understand it's a WE. Called Bill Howe from my home in Seattle (I'm active duty military & lived in our home in SD (Bay Park) up until we were overseas....& I'm NOT wealthy because I have a second home (paying mortgage on it). ----was told charges for "normal hours" $145/hr & after 5pm Fr & Sat/Su jumps to time & a half (ie: $217.50). Extremely expensive & will NEVER USE AGAIN. Notified tenant to NEVER even think about calling these guys. I have friends that are physicians (surgeons & anesthesiologists) that do not charge these rates....deal with pt's lives in the operating room. Bill Howe----a COMPLETE RIPOFF!

Had to come back 3 times. Said they were going to hire a electrician. I said u will use mine. They tried to hire him full time after he finished. I asked them to fix my water-fall._x000D_|They said OK and I never heard back. Did some useless work on my garbage disposal. That guy offered to work bypassing Howe company. NO deal there._x000D_|Not sure of the dates. Might have been in 2009.

Escellent service and the installed softener has been working perfectly.

After our master bedroom toilet had a significant leak all but destroying our newly renovated dining room, I contacted Bill Howe primarily for the immediate plumbing problem. However, once I talked to his representative (and with the OK of our insurance adjustor) I decided to pass the entire restoration job to Bill Howe. I couldn?t have made a better choice. The overall coordination in completing the job to pre-leak standards and coordinating with our other contractors was superb. And Jose the reconstruction magician went out of his way to ensure that everything was done right. Even when a glitch or two happened (which is always the case with construction projects), the Bill Howe team was unbelievably flexible in working with our schedule and the schedule of our other contractors. It was not an experience I want to repeat but if anything ever happens again I will definitely want to have Bill Howe come to the rescue.
