The problem was quickly resolved. Technician was very professional.

I called and said that I was looking for someone to plunge our toilets. He called back and said that they didn't plunge or sell plungers. He said that he'd need to come out and snake the drains, possibly from the roof and it was going to total out to nearly $1,000.00 but I told him that I had just had the drains snakes 4-months earlier and that was too much money. I felt like I was being emotionally blackmailed into having work done that didn't need to be done.

Everything went fine except that the plumber accidentally damaged a family room wall from the opposite side, then offered no apology or advice on how to report the problem and described the incident as "friendly fire". When I called Bill Howe, they investigated the incident, then offered to cover the cost of the repair if I hired a third party, or to repair the damage at no charge if I elected to hire them to repair the sections of drywall that had to be cut in the process of repair. So I am pleased with Bill Howe as a company, but remain very disappointed in the plumber that provided the work.

Miguel went to his truck to call in for pricing and found that it would be about $545- to purchase and install a new tank of the same kind. We had another toilet with the same brand of tank that we had already had to replace for the same reason, although we paid quite a bit less for that replacement and install. When we hesitated, Miguel suggested that for the kind of money we would have to pay, he could install what he considered to be a MUCH better toilet for just a few dollars more and it would be a whole new toilet. As it turned out, it was the brand we had in another bathroom that we were very happy with that had been installed more than 10 years earlier for even more money back then. He even said that if he went to the supply house in the morning and returned the next day, he could increase the Angie's List discount from 5% to 10% and save us more. So, arrangements were made and he returned with a helper exactly on time the next day with the toilet and both men were extremely professional, personable, competent and efficient and we had a brand new toilet of the preferred brand in about an hour and a half for a total less than the original total on the tank alone from the day before and the new toilet looks great, works perfectly and we could not be happier with our choice of Bill Howe Plumbing and the two exemplary technicians sent to do the work, with extra kudos to Miguel for making the suggestion of the TOTO toilet and coming out the next morning doubled our discount! Will call again if we need plumbing help and ask for Miguel Gomez.

They did a terrific job, they worked on the job all day untill it got dark. It was a big job tearing up my driveway and diging down serveral feet. They arrived on time and repaired my driveway when they were done. I would recommend them and i plan to use them again for any plumming work!

Service technician was on time, professional and courteous. He did a thorough job cleaning and caring for my furnace. He pointed out a problem that might be developing and told me how to keep an eye out for future issues. He checked the programmable thermostat to make sure it was functioning well and was programmed the way I wanted it to be.

The experience was great. I liked them. The guy was knowledgeable and he did a great job.

Terribly We called them because sewage was backing up into our house. When they came, they said that it would cost $13,000 to repair, which would also include digging up and repairing the street They said it would take about a week. I called the city just to verify what they said, and was told the city would take care of it. They were here in less than an hour, had repaired everything, including the street in less than 24 hours, and it did not cost us a penny, except for what Bill Howe charged us to come and tell us they would charge $13,000.

It took awhile for the heater to arrive from where ever. It was not an issue as we had other means of heating. Otherwise we were very satisfied with the company.

We use Bill Howe for both our residence and our rental. The service personnel are always competent, clean, experienced and give us complete explanations of their assessment of each problem and its solution. I have had thermostats, water heaters and other repairs done and the service is always outstanding.

Everything works fine now. It was a relatively inexpensive repair. It took about an hour and the tech was an older gentleman that was very knowledgeable about our older system. He knew all the tricks, showed me what was damaged, and why it needed replacement. He actually came out 2x - the first to diagnose the problem and the second time with the sensor. He didn't even charge me for the first call at all! They come when they say they'll come and the tech, Wayne, really knew his stuff!

They are very nice and polite. Also, they are always on time and very easy to get a hold of them when we need to.

The 20-year-old water pressure valve for our house developed a slow leak. We called Bill Howe Plumbing. They set up an appointment for the afternoon of the day we called them. The plumber phoned about a half hour before he arrived, and he arrived on time. He assessed the situation and got right to work. He supplied the proper valve. The replacement valve is shorter than the 20-year-old one, so the plumber had to solder couplings onto both sides of the valve to make it fit. He did a good job and worked quickly and efficiently. We have had Bill Howe solve our plumbing problems on several occasions and have been happy with their services.

I purchased this coupon to get the AC system diagnosed of a home I was interested in buying. The coupon was supposed to be used only for diagnosis and not any repairs. This was made clear to Bill Howe at the time of purchased the coupon. | |Bill Howe assured me that the coupon would cover the diagnosis regardless of how long the process took. The technician came out and, without any direction to do so repaired the AC unit. Bill Howe then went on to send me an additional bill for the 'extra' time it took them to conduct the diagnosis and also charged me for the repair. I didn't purchase the place so I ended up getting billed to fix someone else problem. | |I tried to resolve this with Bill Howe but I would never get any one to work with me to address this. | |I am certainly not going to be calling them for any future work. In my opinion stay clear of this outfit.

I called on Friday morning because my garbage disposal stopped working and my sink was backing up. The representative answered the phone right away and was very friendly and professional. The soonest availability was Monday morning between 8-10am. They called about 15 minutes ahead as promised and showed up promptly at 8. The technician was helpful and professional and gave me options to fix or replace. We opted to replace since we had it fixed already once before and were not sure how old the unit was. He replaced and showed me how to maintain it going forward, which I appreciated.

It turned out that the original faucet only needed to be tightened from below. This misjudgment cost me three service calls and an unnecessary replacement faucet.

You may find a less expensive plumber; however, you can count on Bill Howe Plumbing for expertise, professionalism, punctuality and reliability. All qualities needed when you are dealing with a plumbing emergency. Excellent company - highly recommend.

I thought that the problem was a clogged line outside the house. After snakeing out the line the repairman determined that that was not the the problem. He then cleaned out the lines under the sink and fixed the problem. I have used them numerous times. Always good service at a fair price.

I liked the service person. He seemed to have many years of experience, was very friendly but professional at the same time. I would try and request him if I needed any future work done. Very clean job and done well.
