By having their services through Angies list, we got a discount , which we greatly appreciated. We are retired and on a fixed income, so it is nice to find a company that has no "surprises" in the price. The plumber who came was knowledgeable and worked quickly and was totally accomidating. Will definitely use them again, rather than trust a "handyman" as we have done before.

provider found multiple causes and during the course of a couple of hours, remedied all causes, including misalignment and improper installation of the AC unit. it turned out to cost more than we had anticipated and since we didn't shop around, it's hard to know if the price was good or not. in any case, the provider did great work and the issue is now resolved.

Initial emergency repair done promptly and well. Other necessary repair could not be done because of lack of parts. No follow-up calls received and had to contact another company to finish job. Estimate for additional work not returned for 10 days. Costs were significantly higher than 2 other bids.

They came to work on the water heater. They had no sense of urgency. They didn't know what they were doing. We ended up using another company. We had to get out of the contract that we had with them.

Great job by very knowledgeable customer service oriented plumber.

Service person had a little trouble finding the building, but once he found it, arrived and repaired the issue in a timely fashion.

Bill Howe showed up on time and was very thorough in his inspection of the houses plumbing problem. He left an estimate with my tenants who live on the property. Unfortunately, the description of recommendations was hard to read for me not being familiar with all the plumbing terms and in addition there was no price estimate given on the paperwork. I called the receptionist several days later to ask why no amount was written and she was surprised the plumber didn't write any amount down. She told me she put it in his inbox for the next day. It's been two days since I spoke with her now and still no response.

Bill Howe was called out, because we needed to have our lab sinks hydro-jetted. They were able to come out and perform a great job after hours. The technician knew what to do and still managed to keep out of the way from our evening employees. They came in, did a great job and were out. They kept their working area clean and cleaned up after themselves. We appreciate the service and their professionalism. We'll definitely be using them again!

This company called me more than once to check on this gs and had multiple time slots open quickly, called a half hour before he carried to tell me he was coming and was FAST! Also, cleaned up.after himself and was funny.

I had a water pipe break under the floor of my living room. They were very efficient and quick. Their work was of high quality. They were very responsive and professional. They were prompt. They had to dig through the concrete slab to find the leak. He kept me updated as he did the work. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain and answer my questions. He was a hard worker and only took a brief lunch break. He showed up at 8 a.m. and finished by 4 p.m. The crew came to dry out the floors and walls while he was here.

Very impressed with this company. First, scheduling the appointment was incredibly easy. Upon sending a message through Angie's List, I got a return message, an email and a phone call within 12 hours to let me know they had received my schedule request. Amazing! On the day of the service, they sent out two different technicians (one for the main line and one for HVAC). Both techs arrived on time and were incredibly polite and thorough. I was a little frustrated at first because the drain guys didn't know about the water heater but they got on the phone with HQ and had another tech come out right away so he could provide an estimate. He arrived just as the other techs were leaving so I didn't have to wait any additional time. Again, I was really impressed with both their expertise and customer service. All of the inspections went well. The HVAC tech, Daniel, made a few minor repairs to bring our system up to code and was really frank about what we did need and what we didn't. I appreciated his honesty, as it would've been easy to sell me things I didn't need. Last tech took a look at our water heater and provided an itemized estimate fairly quickly. He also was very polite and thorough. The estimate seemed fair and we will most likely have this work done in the next six months. Thank you so much! Great work all around.

After an unfortunate episode in which I lost my hold on a pumice stone while cleaning a toilet, our toilet was backing up and leaking and the shower nearby was also backing up....on a Saturday. We called Bille Howe and Pattric arrived within 90 minutes of our plea for help. Pattric was great: professional, competent, personable and tried to minimize the cost to us. We really couldn't be happier with the service and will absolutely use Pattric and Bille Howe Plumbing in the future. He also was happy to explain what he was doing to my very interested 5 year old son and he furthermore made a recommendation for a high pressure cleaning of the lines based on thirty years of build-up that we got a view of on camera. No one wants to call a plumber on a Saturday but this was as positive an experience as one could hope to have under the circumstances and we feel like we've found our family plumber!

We decided to be pro-active and replace our 15 year old water heater before it went out. We also wanted to beat the new regulations taking effect later in April that would apparently mean increased prices. Bill Howe plumbing installed our previous water heater in June 2000 and did a good job so we called them again. It was somewhat reassuring to hear that the man who installed our heater back then is still working for them! The pleasant woman in the office (Julie?) set up a Monday appointment that was only a couple of business days out from when I called . Jason arrived comfortably within the appointment window. He was congenial and very easy to deal with. They still sold the same Ruud water heaters (I'd say 15+ years is a pretty good life expectancy), the price was about what we expected, and he could do the job that day. He would go get the new heater and have it all done in 2-3 hours. On Angie's List Bill Howe offered a 10% discount coupon ($100 max) for a Wednesday or Thursday job. Jason honored the coupon even though it was Monday. Very smooth from start to finish. We'll call Bill Howe in another 15 years.

Some friends who were staying at my house texted me on Sunday that I had a water leak under the sink. I was in another state. I contacted this company told them I needed someone out there asap. One of their plumbers, Mr. Juan Santana, called me right back and went to my house. He fixed the problem before any water damage was done for a fair price. Juan was a real professional. I recommend his company.

I have used them several times, and I can't talk enough about how good they are. I am sorry I moved to an area which they don't service. I had some pretty severe plumbing problems in the past and they were remarkable. I had another one a couple of years before that, and I had slab leak so they came and did work. Every time something happened, they treated you with respect, and they went above and beyond. They tried to help you out. I moved way outside their service area, and I didn't know who to talk to , and they still sent somebody anyways, that is how good they are.

They had the right tools to do it. It was quite expensive, but he was working 13 to 14 hours a day on it. The cost was reasonable for what he did. I tell friends that they come out and you ask them to do the work, and if they can't do it, they will tell you. When they came out for the leak, he said he wouldn't charge me, because he couldn't do anything and had to come back the next day. They take care of their people, and help you resolve your problems. They are like family.

Technician was efficient, and improved connection on dryer vent. Instead of simply redoing the connection using the inferior connection type used by the homebuilder, technician upgraded to a more secure connection method. Technician arrived within 2 hours of my call, and much faster than originally promised. I called Bill Howe after competitor had postponed my appointment to 2 days later, with only 2 hours notice.

Finally purchased a replacement for my original avocado green 1973 dishwasher that had been sitting unused since we purchased the house two years ago. However, the installers from Home Depot wouldn't even attempt to install the new one due to the severely corroded valves under the kitchen sink. It took a week to arrange an appointment with a local plumber that ended up being a no show. That's when I called Bill Howe. The receptionist was very helpful and I was able to get a rough estimate and appointment for the same day. The plumber arrived right on time and quickly got to work. He replaced the valves and tubing under my kitchen sink. He also inspected the drainage line for the dishwasher so that my new dishwasher could be installed. He replaced my faucet's aerator because it was clogging free of charge. He was courteous and worked in a clean manner. He even took a few minutes to inspect my husband's handiwork in the laundry room and gave a few suggestions, also free of charge. I paid about $25 more than I would have with the original plumber but the quality of service, from start to finish, was well worth it. Bill Howe now has a loyal customer in me. The plumber that performed the service was Fernando (Tech # 452).

Bruce came to our house to look at our house and see what was required for central air conditioning. I was under the assumption that this house, at some point had an air conditioning unit, but Bruce looked at the hose and believed it had not. He looked at all of our registers and looked in the attic to see what was needed. He noted we had a 4 ton furnace and that a 4 ton a/c unit would be needed. He was concerned it might be abit small for our house, but I assured him that my 4 Ton furnace was working well for the size of the house. He asked me what my needs were and I said I would only be using the A/C on extremely hot days, due to the fact I live on a rather large hill and there's a lot of wind moving through. He said ok and said he'd email me an estimate that day. I didn't feel pressured to buy more then I needed and Bruce was really nice and very through. Bruce knows his job and I'd greatly recommend him!

Technician very knowledgable and professional. Was charged 1.5 hrs labor. Actual installation took 1 hr. Additional 15 minutes to provide estimate and 15 minutes to write the invoice due to looking up prices in parts catalog. I paid but seemed strange to me that I would have to pay for visual estimate and having plumber look up prices for parts for final invoice. Spoke with Bill Howe office staff, they said that the labor clock starts when plumber arrives at your house and stops when you sign the invoice. Didn't make sense to me since the estimate of the work should be free and why should I pay for the plumber looking up the cost of materials in the parts catalog for 15 minutes at $150/hr. Anyway, be aware of this if you decide to use Bill Howe Plumbing. I will probably still use Bill Howe for fixed cost plumbing items (drain clearing) and not hourly plumbing work.

I called Bill Howe & set up an appointment. The plumber arrived promptly & was courteous & professional. He quickly assessed the problem & cleared the drain through the outside clean-out connection. I will definitely call Bill Howe again for my plumbing problems!!

Called for service and talked to a real person (had called another plumber and had to leave a message, no return call in over 1 hour and 45 minuets). The technician called within 10 minutes. He arrived as soon as he had estimated. He was professional, knowledgable, and personable. The work was performed quickly with positive results. I will recommend them to anyone.
