I love this company. This is the second time that Rick has done work for me. He is a craftsman and very knowledgable. He cleans up like he was never there. I would definitely hire again!

Our pest control people discovered some problem areas. We got an estimate from Best Rate Repair and then we had them do the repair. I know that we thought the price was reasonable based on the estimates that we got at the time. I liked the detailed nature of the estimate and the fact that they walked me through and showed me everything that was going to be involved and explained in great detail what would be done to fix each thing. In fact they gave me sufficient detail that if I was 20 years younger I would have said fine we will do it ourselves and then I would do it myself. They were that open and honest about what they were going to do. And when I watched them do the work, that is what they did. It took them a day and half, maybe 2. They had several people out here. It didn't take that long at all. There were a lot of small areas that needed to be repaired. It wasn't a massive job but it was a very distributed small area job. I 2 foot board here and 6 foot board there, that kind of thing.

It was fine. There were additional charges above the cost of the deal. I did use them again after this experience. They were just great people. They kept me informed of what they were doing. They told me what to expect in the long term from the repair. If I had a repair to do tomorrow I would use them again.

This is the second time I've used Best-Rate Repair & Termite Company. As the first time, everything went smoothly. The guys showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and worked quickly to remove the tree and repair the roof. They even did extra by removing the planter stones from around the tree and leveling the ground there, so the area blends in with the rest of the lawn. These guys will be my go-to guys for home repair.

The estimator came out and told me that only one shingle and an upright post were actually rotten. The rest just needed repainting. I made an appointment for the work to be done and it was completed on time and very professionally. I provided the paint and since the replacement did not take the full time, he even repainted the shibgles that needed it.

They were quick and did a really good job. Courteous and very professional. I feel comfortable enough with their work to call them back for additional work.

Richard did an outstanding job of repairing and rebuilding the front wooden gate The job entailed stabilizing the two front 4 x 4's on each side of the gate. Once that was done Richard built a new gate with new heavy duty hinges and gate latch. He used all new wood to complete a new gate and added a brace to insure the gate would not sag. After installation he stained the new gate wood to match the existing front fence. If you need wood repair this is the best company to have do it. Not the cheapest but the best.

Long story short, He charges 1000 a day for labor and materials plus 15%. That is 3 times the going labor rate and I did not pay anyone an extra 15% for materials on previous work. The price is outrageous and I don't think a good representation for Angie's List. I called some friends to get the name of a licensed contractor who told me he will do it for $35 and hour plus cost of materials (No added charges), that happens to be exactly what I paid for all previous work I had done.

It went really well. This company is professional. They get the job done and done well. We trust them to do an A plus job for a reasonable rate.

Two appointments were required: one short appointment to assess the job at hand, then a second future appointment (a couple of weeks later) to complete the work. The workman completed the job with time to spare to fix a gutter and kitchen drawer for me. I was delighted that he was so open to help me with these little nuisance jobs that were hanging over my head. I would definitely hire this outfit again.

Price seemed excessive for a simple ramp from backyard to property below. WAS here on time but only spent about 10 minutes explaining why this was a bad idea. Appreciated his frankness but disappointed project was unfeasible.

There were specific requirements I had for this job, and Rick, the carpenter, was more than accepting of my wishes. When I had questions, he was quick to come up with answers and good suggestions. Expert craftsmanship done as expeditiously as possible, under extremely hot weather conditions. Great job!
