All went well , called them back for 2 area's I had questions on and they responded quickly .

Quotes were too high to use. Trying to charge $100 an hour for patching. $1200 or more. Found reputable handyman for $50. Money just sitting there because there's nothing they can do for that amount. Waste of my money. Don't know what to do.

They did a good job. I was waiting for them to come out to get them to finally do it. Finally we made a connection. One that I was disappointed in was that it took forever for us to get together because the guy came out and he said something else that needed to be addressed was to replace this big beam that was rotted, in his opinion. It had paint over it but there was something going on underneath but it was going to cost $80000. I said let's just stay with the original work. So it was hard because I didn't generate money for them. It didn't happen until i called them and reminded them. I don't look at my emails all the time so I kept telling them to call me. He said I scheduled you for such and such date but it was all in email and I don't go to my emails. I bought it way back when and it was supposed to expire. We never got connected. We would reschedule and it just didn't happen. Finally I had to pester them and finally it happened. It shouldn't have happened like that. When he told me $8000 to replace that board I said no, let's just do the end board. It didn't take that long. I said wow it is done early. He said they charge from when he leaves his home, not when he starts working. So the 4 hours starts when he leaves his home.They did good. It turned out good. The guy was good. They charged me and I haven't addressed it yet. They probably should have eaten it up. They sent me 2 bills. One for $58 and one for $70 something. They did good. They were very nice. I would use them again but I'd like it to be in a timely manner.

They came out to assess what needed to be repaired and replaced regarding the rotted wood as well as inspected our home for the extent of termite damage. They provided an assessment for the work we needed to consider. We moved forward with the majority of work they suggested pertaining to the rotted wood that needed to be replaced. A few months later, and only due to my husband and me attempting to getting our schedules coordinated, we also moved forward with having our home tented for termites. We had never had our home tented before and working with Jordanna and Jesse truly made the difference through the entire project. It is a process and takes time to coordinate. Being "first timers" in the tenting process was far easier to go through when Jordanna and Jesse provided information to read through in advance of the tenting, explained what would happen and when, and were responsive throughout the entire process. Best-Rate Repair & Termite Company is one that I would contact again for future work and recommend to others. This is a company who is responsive and really appreciates their customers. We were very happy with the outcome.

The company replaced the wood that needed to be replaced, painted it to match the house, and did a very professional job.

It went well for the most part. The deck needed more wood replaced than originally estimated, so the cost went up a little, but Mike, the estimator, worked with me on the price. It also took longer than expected. Originally scheduled for one week, it took an extra two and a half days. Part of this was due to the extra wood needing to be replaced. Part was due to the quality of work. The wood that was replaced was painted with Kilz primer before it was laid down. This will hopefully increase the life of the deck and cut down on mold and rot. They then painted after completing the work, including two coats on horizontal surfaces.

It was wonderful. I am very happy with the work they did. My old dry redwood deck looks like new again. I would recommend this company to anyone, anytime. They did excellent work at an affordable price.

it was done so poorly. 8 hours worth of work done. worker said this normally is two people, but for Angies list jobs they only send out one person. after 8 hours it was a mess. so poorly done. to their credit, they sent someone out in a few days and he spent 6-8 hours correcting what was wrong with the job.

He came out and looked at the job. He quickly looked at the work and gave me an estimate for $3900 without even measuring or telling me details. I got three other estimates and all were between $700 and $1200 for the work. I hired another company, paid $700 for the work, and had Angie's List refund the deal.

They had to remove roof tiles and replace them. The gentleman who did the work was a real professional. His name was Jose and I will ask for him again if I need anything done.

After I got over the shock of the enormity of the project that needed to be done, everything went well. I had only noticed the paint peeling at the corners, but Scott's trained eyes noticed much more. I was not happy with the wording of the first estimate/contract, and told Scott what I needed to see to be able to sign the contract. I needed some terms explained and needed all that he told me would be done to be written down so that I could understand it. He was happy to satisfy my needs. Then I was even happier to see a drawing and an even more detailed plan that the workers had. Sergio and Lazaro did the actual work. They worked hard, and took pride in their work. They noticed some additional problems and came to me with solutions. I was happy to let them do what they suggested. It is nice to know that nearly 60 years of sun and water damage has now been removed and replaced with new wood. I am very happy with the results and I shouldn't have to worry about this section of the house for a very long time. The job was done right! I want to especially thank Sergio and Lazaro for taking extra care with the wires, lights, and cameras that needed to be detached and then attached again. I know that made this job more difficult than just replacing and painting wood.

The workers were at our house for 3 days. They worked efficiently and skillfully. They obviously knew what they were doing. They thoroughly cleaned up after each work day. It was more expensive than I expected but my wife and I are very satisfied with the work. The final product was excellent

It went very well. All replaced wood was painted to match the house. It all looks like new new. Mike provided an excellent quote and Rocky and his crew were great doing the job. We will definitely call them back for future work on the house.
