Description of Work: NO STARS FOR THIS COMPANY I feel totally ripped off by Bejar Gate Company (aka Baker Door, Inc.) While using them in the past for minor service calls, the service was marginally acceptable, but the prices seemed very high. Recently, they strongly encouraged me to purchase new gate opener units to replace the older ones. It took quite a while to get the install done, and then they had to come out again a few days later as their installer forgot to hook the unit up to the power outlet properly, so they had been running on batteries until the batteries gave out. Now, as to the big issue, IF YOU GET A PRICE QUOTE from this company, RESEARCH ONLINE before you agree to anything. I knew they'd mark up the new units a bit, perhaps 25 - 35%. What did I eventually learn -- Aside from the $960 I was charged for the labor to install the units, I was charged $6,409 for the units that online would have cost $3,145 -- and that includes shipping. That's more than 100% markup!!!!! I FEEL RIPPED OFF! The company will tell you that they warranty the product for one year. Wonderful. I'd have been better off buying 2 spare units from someone else rather than getting such a jacked up rate from this company. This is the first Angie's List Review I've ever done. I've come across many companies that I wouldn't want to ever use again. This one takes the cake.
