 + 1 moreThey have a nice, small family-run showroom, and are very helpful. Their prices are far better than other places we visited, but the "rough estimate" in the showroom (based on a builder's floorplan) was nowhere near the estimate we received after Erik made on site measurements. I don't know where the extra 50% came from-- maybe incompetence in the showroom, or inflated on site-- as the builder's floorplan is accurate. We went with another contractor, but I think Balboa is worth looking at. Their prices are way below another company, which was awkward and embarrassing in comparison. I would consider them for future projects, but definitely get 2 or 3 estimates.
Description of Work: Tile, carpet and wood-- complete flooring for a 2000 sq ft townhouse.

 + 0 moreDid an excellent job highly recommended. The estimate was very accurate and the price was competitive. The tile work was superb. All work was done on schedule.
Description of Work: Installed laminate flooring and ceramic tile throughout one floor of house (4 rooms) plus put laminate on the stairs. Some of the tile work was fairly intricate with tiles on a diagonal and border tiles. The store staff provided excellent suggestions for getting the best look for combining laminate and tile.
