Description of Work: I called ASI yesterday to arrange a proposal for a Solar system for my home. I was put on hold...FOR FIVE MINUTES before I finally hung up. I then completed the online request for contact form that is on their website. It is now 24 hours later and I still have not heard from them. I guess a twenty five thousand dollar project is not worth their time or energy. I will never try to contact them again. Such unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

Description of Work: I bought a big deal for $69 for a Seasonal Heating/Furnace Precision Tune-up & Safety Inspection. The furnace needed to be replace and after an estimate from ASI I checked around and got a much better deal from another company. So ASI did not do the work.

Description of Work: The man who came out to inspect my furnace was someone who seemed to have a lot of experience and knowledge. He said that my OLD furnace was not safe and I believed him. Later that afternoon, the salesman from ASI came out to give me a quote on a new furnace. He suggested a slightly bigger furnace than I actually needed (I learned that from internet and from the other companies that gave me a price) and quoted me an open ended price - that was not firm because his manager would have to approve - for a furnace that was considered to be inferior (in terms of repair frequency/problems) by a leading consumer organization. He began to identify other issues that could add to the price. He was not convincing - hence I called and got other bids for the right size furnace and for a furnace that was ranked much higher than the 'only' brand that ASI sold. Although I trusted (and liked) the inspector, I was left with an uncomfortable feeling as I was not willing to trust the salesman and therefore, ASI.

Description of Work: During a very hot day, I turned on the air conditioning and all it did was blow hot air. I called ASI who I have used for over 20 years and they sent out Chris. He asked to see the condensor and within 5 minutes told me he had solved the problem. A vine had invaded the compressor and was wrapped around the motor, Had he not seen it, it could have been the cost of a new motor. I so appreciate the honesty in dealing with this situation. He could have told me the motor was shot and I would have spent hundreds of dollars instead of $70 and I am sure he would have made more money. This is the very reason I use ASI. I believe them and their employees are the upmost professionals.
