Perfect! They are always on time and work quickly. We have used them for years and plan to continue to use them.

ASI was top notch from the initial visit to completion of the service. They were highly professional, competitive in pricing, and got the work done a full day earlier than expected. Every interaction I've had with them, from their office staff to the man who provided us with an estimate to the crew who did all of the installation work, has exceeded my expectations. I'd highly recommend ASI to anyone looking for honest, dependable HVAC support.

Needed emergency service and was able to get someone to come within a 2 hour timeframe. Not only was Tom? able to find the problem, he saved us $$$$ by explaining how to prevent in future.

Not impressed. Two months later needed to have the condensation lines cleaned out. The serviceman should have done this instead of trying to up sell me.

It seemed to me like a very big job but Bobby and Mario got it done in the estimated time, they worked fast and hard, they were on time, they asked questions when appropriate and explained processes where necessary, and they were very polite and pleasant. The estimate of the costs that Greg gave us, were the exact charges on the bill - no hidden costs. I found this company to be very fair and responsive.

We called three or four places to get bids; they came in with the best bid and had great references including on Angie's List. They call themselves the "white gloves guys", and yes, they actually wear white gloves. Their service is always terrific. They call and ask if we need anything. They come out for checkups and to change filters.

The company was excellent. They are extremely professional and knowledgable. The work was done in a timely manner and it is a good quality product. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of work that was completed.

Bashiri Cooper was the sales representative. On time, thorough. I didn't want to have the ducting replaced and he did not pressure me to get it. Told me what I needed and how long it would take to complete the job. When the technicians came out they did the job just as it was explained, no surprises. Very Professional. Technicians: I worked with John Antoine and Donavan Truesdale. Both were on time, neat, thorough. Explained what they were going to do, how long it would take and did the job. Cleaned up and then were gone. I felt comfortable with ASI, everyone I dealt with was professional, competent. They even wore the white gloves!!!! Thanks, Diana Ellis

They are reasonably priced, courtesy, and did a brilliant job.

They were on time. The price was a little higher than other comparable companies, but they had an excellent reputation and commitment to quality and service to the customer. The installation went very well. It was installed in a shorter period of time than estimated, and they cleaned up well. They also contacted us after installation to verify if there were any problems.

In weather north of 100*, I'm glad another more attentive Angie's list service provider was available to perform A/C repairs. This company took 3 days to even respond to our service request via web-portal (not phone), and when they did finally answer at 4pm on 9/18 - proposed a date 2 weeks out (10/2 or 10/3) due to capacity issues.

Everything went as proposed. Mr. Peterson, the estimator, arrived on time and, after a thorough inspection of the house and attic, prepared the proposal in my presence. He answered all my many questions and explained how he arrived at the different values and the components he proposed. Due to the age and solid construction of the house the crew had to be, and did, solve a few unexpected problems. They were very careful cutting through the lath-and-plaster ceilings, covered with dry-wall in some rooms, and cleaned up immediately. Mr. Peterson was the only one of three estimator to point out that the place I had selected for the outside air-conditioning unit was directly underneath a dryer vent that would blow lint into the unit. The ASI Hastings crew relocated the vent to far better location. Included in the price was sealing and insulating of the attic. The air-conditioning worked great the night before the insulation material was blown in but would not turn on after the crew left. A technician from ASI Hasting's maintenance department came as soon as they has discussed what the problem could be at the office. He fixed the problem and the system is working great I highly recommend ASI Hastings Heating Air & Solar to anyone considering installing climate control, particularly in an old house. All the employees are hard-working, polite, well-trained and thoroughly professional.

I LOVE the new heating and air conditioning system!!! The quality of the installation itself was outstanding. However, I have to give ASI a "C" overall because of all the problems that occurred outside the installation.. When I called on 07/23 to schedule to have the work done they couldn't find the paperwork that was generated by my estimate. I was assured that the paperwork would be found and told that somebody would call me the next day about some forms that needed to be filled out. In the meantime, they told me they would go ahead and schedule my installation for 08/06. The following day, 0724, nobody from ASI called me back, so I called them back on 07/25. I was given instructions on what I needed to do and told that I would also receive an email to which I would send scanned copies of the required signed documents. I didn't find the email until 07/30 because my spam filter sent it to my junk folder. I filled out the forms, scanned them, and submitted them to ASI on 08/01. On 08/05 I got a call from ASI informing me that they could not begin my installation on 08/06 as had been scheduled. They only just found the paperwork from my estimate and realized that I needed to have asbestos insulation removed from around my old heater. Their abatement contractor wasn't available for my installation until 08/22. Because I had planned to have the installation completed long before out of town guests arrived for a week long visit, I was VERY upset about this. With the installation now scheduled for 08/22, it would be completed just one day before my guests arrived. I was upset enough that I came *this* close to telling ASI to forget it and that I would go with somebody else. But that would not have gotten me my new air conditioner any sooner. ASI told me that they would be giving me some "coupons" as compensation for the scheduling snafu. The coupons turned out to be two Starbucks cards for $5 each. Now, I LOVE Starbucks, but $10 worth of coffee doesn't make up for losing my estimate and botching the schedule. I was hoping for something more along the line of free annual tuneups for 5 years, or a break in the price of the installation. They made a mistake around one of the registers and needed to do some drywall and paint repair. That in and of itself is pretty minor. However, the first time they scheduled the repair they didn't show up at the agreed upon time and didn't bother telling me they needed to reschedule until I called them demanding to know what was going on. When somebody did show for the reschedule, he made the repair worse than the mistake. So, ASI had to send out a different team to do the repair over. This time it looks OK. It will never look perfect, but at least it's not an eyesore anymore. Current TV commercials for ASI show two technicians talking about giving customers for new installations an iPad. Well, I just had a new installation. Where's my iPad?

We?ve had other electricians in and ASI actually fixed some of their work! They the crew that came out was incredibly fast and did a great job! They were actually able to get the city inspection within a week, where it frequently takes a month or more. Their price may be a bit more, but it's worth it. They actually have a policy that they'll absorb the costs if their work does not pass the city inspection.

I waited 6 days to get an appointment to have a leak in my A/C repaired. Lance B came out 8/21 and was on time for the appointment window. Lance performed a "quick fix" but said he could not guarantee the fix would last. On his bill, he wrote 2 tasks that would be needed to make the repair. I wasn't sure why he didn't just do the repairs then, but trusted that his temporay fix would hold for at least a while and in the interim I could investigate some options. Three hours later, the A/C was leaking again and flooding my hallway. Called ASI at 4:15 pm on 8/21 asking for the recommended service from Lance's bill to be performed. I was given an appointment window for the nexdt day, 8/22, between 2-5 pm. On 8/22 at 4:15 pm I called to confirm that Lance would be there by 5pm. Susie told me I was his next appointment. At 5:30 pm on 8/22 Lance had not shown and no one called from the office letting me know when to expect him. I left a message with the answering service saying Lance had not shown yet. At 5:42 I got a call from Scott at ASI and that is when Lance finally appeared at my door. Apparently, Lance's diagnosis/recommendation from his 8/21 visit could not be performed. He had "speculated" on 8/21 that he could make the recommended repair from the attic. When he tried to do that on 8/22, it turned out he was wrong. Had Lance performed a thorough investigation on 8/21, I would have been saved the trouble of waiting at home in a sweltering place all day 8/22, only to have Lance arrive 40+ minutes late to tell me there was nothing he could do for me. Overall I was disappointed and inconvenienced. After waiting 6 days for an appointment, I did not want a "quick fix" that lasted only 3 hours. Wasted days waiting for ASI. I had expected more.

They did an excellent job! They cleaned up everything, covered my carpets before working, and were very friendly.

System shut down Sat evening, and I called ACI because the reputation is good (Angie's List) and adds reflect weekend services. I called dispatcher 0900 or so; she asked the problem and said she would refer to a technician. Lance B called within an hour or so and said that his schedule was pretty full with current customers, but he would try to squeeze us in if something opened up later in the day. We thought it was over then, frankly. Lance B did call back late afternoon and said that he could come by if still needed/wanted. Given the heat/humidity, we were delighted. To shorten this up, will say that Lance got here less than 20 minutes after he contacted us. He hustled around like a pro, found the problem quickly (a blown fuse within the furnace), offered some good suggestions re: upkeep of the AC unit, answered questions cheerfully and knowledgeably; got the air going and was outta here. He was a very pleasant and professional chap, even after crawling around in the overheads that had to be in the 90's. This was a very good service experience for us.

Mr. Brad Jensen with ASI Hastings showed up on time and performed a detailed inspection of our A/C equipment; it had been over 4 years since I had someone checkout this equipment. He let me know what he found and and what he recommended. There was no pressure and he just the presented the facts, and answered all my questions. Mr Jensen was a very polite, smart, knowledgeable, professional and speedy but not too speedy. With my wife's health problems we really need to have our A/C working properly. Mr. Jensen repaired and replaced the various things that needed attention which will keep the A/C unit working for years to come. We are going to have him come out each year to check over this equipment and sooner if anything stops working. Back in 2004 I had an experience with an A/C company which ended up with me taking them to Small Claims Court. We are so glad there is a wonderful company like ASI Hastings who employs sharp workers like Brad Jensen.

They were punctual and friendly. Serviced the units, which worked well afterwards.

The service went well. It was our first time using the company. They did exactly what the deal stated. The technician was very friendly and to the point. He was also very knowledgeable and did good work. I had no problems contacting the company or scheduling the service.

ASI installed our furnace and air conditioner some years ago. We always have them come out to do our maintenance on these units. They let you know when they are coming, explain if anything extra needs completion and are professional.
