I worked with Lars Larssen to update my old package unit, Lars was very upfront and honest with me and I appreciated that. Lars coordinated the removal and install of the new unit with a separate roofing company to allow installation of insulation and a new roof at the same time. Everything went smoothly and the new unit and additional attic insulation helped make the hot summer of 2015 bearable without jacking up my utility bill too much. I would love to install a solar system with them, but the cost is not justified by the size of my utility bill and I don't have the resources to pay for it out of pocket yet.

Service was provided as expected.

Donovan was the tech that serviced my furnace and AC systems. As always with ASI Hastings employees, he was prompt, competent and professional. He performed the service on both systems and then went over the inspection results with me to ensure I knew the condition of both.

ASI Hastings came out a couple of weeks ago for a tune up of my A/C. The technician called me & said there's a blockage in the drain and quoted me $117 to fix it which I approved. After an hour, he called me again and said he couldn't fix it but the secondary drainage would work, as it had for the past couple of months. Specifically, he said that I could continue using my A/C. Well, after a couple of days, I noticed a water leak in the ceiling, right below where the A/C was located, as well as the stairs and other places. ASI H. sent a guy to come stop the leakage and tried sending out a guy to assess the damage. The guy contacted me & explained the damage, however, wouldn't provide a written estimate! So, I contacted a Restoration company recommended by my home insurance agent, got my written estimate (~$6K), and sent it to ASI H. customer service manager named Michelle; I wouldn't bore you with details about her false promises and below-par customer service. Shortly after receiving the estimate, she called back and said that ASI H. isn't responsible for the damage! Further, she said she wouldn't send me their decision in writing! I told them to expect to hear from my lawyer soon! Don't let this happen to you; simply go with someone more reputable and trustworthy. ASI H. gloves is stained with unhappy customers!

Knowledgeable and courteous technician was thorough and diagnosed the problem after carefully listening to us. He made some key recommendations and asked our permission before proceeding with the actual repair. We agreed to most of what he said, and are considering a few other items for a future appt. Would use this co. again!

I was impressed by how thorough the technician was, and how helpful he was in providing us with info. He gave us some ideas for improvements but did not 'push' us. I would use them again. Highly recommended.

The provider replaced several components, including two 30 amp fuses, a contactor and a run capacitor. Two months later, the unit stopped working again. This time, I checked the fuses myself and found that they were actually 20 amp fuses. I had to call the company and submit pictures of the 20 amp fuses I found in the system in order to get a refund of the amount they charged for the fuses. We had used them before, but after this I am not sure if we will use them again.

They came out at one time and did a tune up.

We were given a time window between 10am to noon. At 11:40, we called to find out whether there had been a mistake of some kind about the time or the day. We were told that the appointment had been cancelled. No one could say how or why this would happen (we didn't cancel the appointment ? we would have remembered doing that). They were courteous and helpful and offered to reschedule a visit to make an estimate ? hence an overall C instead of F ? but the soonest workable date is three weeks away. We're not impressed with the process of scheduling the appointment for an *estimate*; we certainly won't be using ASI to do the *work*. I think they've got too much business to handle right now. It would be better for them to say that outright and turn us away as a customer ? maybe even recommend someone else to do the work ? instead of trying to meet expectations and failing.

We had recently bought a home. Bought a 79$ deal to check the AC/Duct. The technician who came was very knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do. Suggested to add regulators. He changed the air filter. I had a Ecobee3 Thermostat which had to be installed. He helped with that as well. It required some additional wiring connections which he did. Overall it was a good service and fair price

Great tech who was knowledgeable and concerned about doing a great job. He properly diagnosed the problem and talked me through the issue and resolution. Top notch! ***Follow up**** Shane came out on Sept 30 to complete some follow up work. A wonderful tech to made everything right!

Our AC unit went out on Saturday. I called ASI and a technician - Mike - called back. He was unable to come out to do the repair but he was gracious enough to walk us thru several possible "fixes". We did try them but unfortunately (not his fault) they did not work. He said they really were not taking new clients on the weekends because of the severe heat - but to try to call about 8:30am and maybe the "North County guy" could squeeze us in. I did just that. I called a little before 8:30am on Sunday morning and the answering service said she was sorry but ASI was not taking new clients on the weekends right now. I said I understood and starting searching for someone that could possibly come out to help us. Then about an hour later a technician from ASI called (Brad) and said when he finished his Chula Vista call he would come out to see what he could do. Amazing - these guys really do have a heart. ANYWAY - Brad called when he finished the job he was on, said how long it would take to get to us and arrived on time. He was able to locate the problem - fuse inside the unit and we are on our way to cooling off again. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. I am calling on Monday to schedule a "tune up" service also.

We recently had a solar system installed by Garrett and Jacques of ASI Heating Air & Solar. I gladly give them a 5-star rating. They were awesome! The quote was good, just what we expected, they made everything easy for us, they were very professional, and they did a great job in a clean and efficient manner. They have done work for us in the past, installing a new furnace and all new air ducts as well as maintaining our furnace and central air. They have been in business for 63 years so we know they'll be around to maintain our solar. We are VERY pleased with their work and highly recommend them!

Phoned for an appointment for an estimate for whole house AC. The person taking the call, Arlene, put me on hold several times to confer, which made me uneasy. On appointment day I waited for 3 hours- no call, no appearance. When I called this morning, I was told they showed me canceling an appointment, on the day I called, not making one. I was told that Arlene was a trainee and had made a mistake. I told them her training was poor, and that I wished to reschedule, but not to wait three hours. I was told sorry, they could not make exceptions to their time- window of two hours (not 3, as Arlene had told me). I have been inundated with ads telling me how wonderful ASI is; but so far, they seem clumsy, unacommodating, and inflexible. They certainly don't seem to be anxious for my business, not matter how poorly they handled the scheduling. Incompetence buys you no consideration.

Excellent. Matt B. was totally professional. He clearly explained his findings, and made very helpful suggestions.

It went great. Checked the heating units as well as the air conditioning units. Also changed all of the filters.

It went pretty well. I think they were a little overpriced. There was a little bit of confusion of what was promised. I had reminded the technicians what was written on the original contract. It showed some poor communication between the technicians. It got resolved in the end. I had to show a couple of people the original contract. All was taken care of.

The tecnician was on time was very thorough shwed what need it to get done. Avery polite. Thanks ASI

When completing our annual furnace tune up, the technician installed new surge protectors and electrical components. We also purchased and they installed air purification systems for both units in the house, including low level carbon monoxide detectors. The service was completed professionally and efficiently. We would expect to continue using ASI's services.

After calling to request an energy audit and enhanced attic insulation, a representative came out to survey the site and prepare a proposal to replace heating ducts in the attic with R6 ducts, seal the attic from the house, and add 14? blown-in fiber insulation on top of the existing 8? of fiberglass insulation. Then a technician came out to do a safety inspection of the heating system, hot water system, fireplace, gas appliances, ventilation, ducting, etc. He completed a series of tests to measure how well the house was sealed before any work was done. He took pictures of everything. Then a team came out and replaced the ducts, sealed the attic, built dams around the bathroom ventilation fan and the whole house fan, installed channels for the eave vents, and prepared to install new insulation. One of the techs accidentally miss-stepped and cracked the ceiling drywall (see: What surprises come up during the course of the work?), which prevented them from finishing the insulation install until after the ceiling was repaired, which they would do at no cost to me. A drywall tech came out to repair the ceiling and resurface the popcorn ceiling. The install team came back out to complete the insulation install. They blew-in another 14 to 16 inches of fiber insulation on top of the ceiling joists pre-existing fiberglass insulation. They took pictures of everything. The original technician returned to repeat the seal tests and take more photos. The test results, before and after, and all the photos would be submitted for a state energy efficiency program rebate. I called about a month later to check on the status of the rebate, and was told that the state requested that the ventilation fan dam be upgraded. A technician returned to complete the upgrade and take additional photos to submit to the rebate program. I received a $1300 rebate from a state energy efficiency program, reducing the cost to $700 to me.

He showed up and was wonderful. Performed a very through inspection and I was horrified to learn that my attic had asbestos tape, I would need an abatement, to leave the house for three days, then that plus replacing the insulation which was "on" the wrong way would be upwards of 5K. I just had the house reinspected. No asbestos, no insulation sheeting to turn around, just needs new spray in foam, to the cost of about $1400.

WOW! Never expected to have such a great experience. Matt came out & took measurements, made site drawings, gave me 3 options. Chose best the best quality equipment which because of additional rebates was the lowest cost! About 7:00a the 1st guy came & did air leakage tests, etc. Then the work crew of 4 guys, was right behind him. They were very professional, efficient, & knowledgeable. Finished & gone about 3:00p. The next day I needed to have the air flow on one outlet reduced and found that they had put dampers in the ducts for every register, which makes air flow adjustments very easy. This is the 4th home I've owned and these guys are probably the most impressive company I've ever done business with.

The team of guys at my house were very professional. Everything was completed per the time and cost estimate. The guys were always available if I had a question and when we had a hiccup, the crew leader dropped everything to fix the problem first. The only minor complaint I had is that there were a few small cosmetic things that did not get patched up at the end of the job. I'm sure if I had signed off instead of my husband, they would have been fixed. We had gotten several offers for this and they were the cheapest (including one we received that was double their estimate!). I still feel we had quality work done and we could not be happier with our a/c just in time for summer.

He then over quoted the price for replacing the furnace and air conditioner which did not need to be done.
