Selling a home that had been in the family for almost 50 years was stressful enough but purchasing a replacement residence at the same time was overwhelming. Fortunately Mark has the skills and attitude that made the process relatively simple, quick, and surprisingly profitable. With years of experience in San Diego real estate he's very knowledgeable of the entire process of selling and buying a home; from staging to closing to helping select the home that meets one's wants and needs. An excellent communicator who pays particular attention to details he kept me informed in a timely manner. I never felt pressured into making decisions. He was always available to answer my questions no matter how foolish sounding they seemed. I greatly appreciated that. His friendly, calm demeanor shouldn't fool you. He will fight for you to ensure you receive what is in your best interest.

Description of Work: We have been in escrow 3 times with Amy O'Dorisio from Ascent Real Estate. We've had many ups and downs (pesky cash buyers from out of state, people offering 70-100k over list price, houses during home inspection that you need to run not walk away from)... and Amy has stuck by us through out. The market in San Diego is like the twilight zone, so it is nice to have someone willing to shed some light on the bizarreness of the situation. When needed Amy is a tough negotiator, great at making relationships work between sellers/buyers/real estate agents. She's likable... which is helpful in the world of salespeople (none of the used car salesman pushiness). It took us well over a year to finally land a home. Amy got us a great deal in a relatively touchy situation for the seller. Nevertheless, she made it work and I would recommend her to others.
